Today’s episode begins with Banku saying he will bring a mop but Digvijay stops him.
Jaya apologizes to Digvijay saying that their presence made his house dirty because she had a nature call emergency. She explains that everyone faces such situations especially when someone is small and emergencies do not come after asking permission. She even asks him how such situations happen.
Jaya thanks Digvijay for letting her use the washroom. She also tries to thank him for returning her ball yesterday and for helping during the ghost situation earlier but before she can complete her sentence Anupama quickly covers her mouth to stop her.
Anupama apologizes to Digvijay but he asks Anupama and Jaya to leave immediately. Anupama tries to explain yet Digvijay refuses to listen. Eventually they start leaving. While walking away Jaya angrily murmurs and calls him a bad ghost uncle. Digvijay closes the door on Anupama’s face leaving her embarrassed.
Anupama Requests One Chance
Anupama decides to talk to Digvijay again. She explains that the doctor had sent her to his house saying that Digvijay could help them so she requests one chance. She folds her hands and sincerely apologizes for whatever happened.
Digvijay finally opens the door but makes his condition clear. He says once the one-month stay is completed he will not allow Anupama to stay even one extra day. He adds that if Anupama and Jaya want to stay in the house they must follow his rules. Jaya curiously asks what rules he is talking about. Digvijay replies that these are his house rules. He calls Banku and asks him to properly explain the rules to them. However Digvijay himself explains the most important rule first whoever makes the house dirty must clean it themselves.
Anupama agrees to follow every rule but Jaya whispers that Digvijay is a bad person. Anupama immediately stops Jaya from saying such things. Banku then welcomes Anupama and Jaya into the house.
Vasundhara Takes control Of House
Meanwhile Pari asks Meeta to check a design and Meeta assures her that the design looks good.
Prem helps Rahi and Pranshi while Anil decides to make tea for everyone. At that moment Vasundhara interrupts and announces that she has removed all the household staff. Meeta asks the reason. Vasundhara explains that servants are needed only by people who don’t have time but in their house the women have plenty of time. She even says that if the men can cook food they can handle other household work as well. Meeta reminds her that Pari’s boutique is new and needs attention but Vasundhara sarcastically replies that now she has to focus on that too.
She then declares that from now on she will control all the household expenses. Everyone must submit a monthly list of what they need at the beginning of the month and no unnecessary items will be purchased later. Vasundhara also reveals that she has sold two out of their four cars. If anyone needs a car they must inform her first and she will decide which car will be used. She says everyone had been busy living in their own worlds so she took the responsibility of controlling the house. As long as she is in charge there will be no wasteful spending.
Vasundhara asks Anil to give her a file to check. She also announces that until Parag returns she will make all the business decisions and sign important documents. After checking the file she says she will go with Anil and until then he should prepare tea.
Prem tells Anil that whether Vasundhara understands or not everyone knows that Anil has been managing the business. Rahi also says that after Parag Anil understands the business the best. Anil then tells Rahi she might be getting late so she should leave.
Prem and Rahi Plan to Visit Goa
As Rahi prepares to go Prem suggests that they should visit Goa.Rahi says she also wants to meet Anupama but she is unsure whether she will get leave.
Digvijay’s Strict Rules
Banku properly welcomes Anupama and Jaya and asks if the doctor already told them about Digvijay. Jaya replies that her friend only said that Digvijay is like a ghost. Banku explains that there are many rules in the house and everything must happen according to Digvijay’s instructions. Without his permission even a spoon cannot be moved. He also says that they cannot speak to Digvijay unless he starts the conversation himself. The house must remain silent and peaceful.
Banku gives them a written list of rules and asks them to read it. Jaya complains that there are more rules in the house than people. Banku admits that Digvijay seems strange but deep down he has a good heart. If they follow his rules everything will go smoothly. Just then they hear a bell ringing. Anupama asks what it means. Banku explains that Digvijay rings the bell whenever he calls someone. Hearing it Banku rushes away immediately.
Gautam To Create Trouble For Ansh
Elsewhere Gautam insults Toshu accusing him of taking bribes from clients. He warns that if Toshu continues such behavior he will eventually end up begging.
Toshu reminds Gautam that their relationship makes him older but Gautam replies that in terms of position Toshu is a junior so he should not expect respect. Toshu defends himself by saying his actions are not bribery but a small fee for information. Gautam becomes curious and asks what information he got. Toshu reveals that Ansh and Preet are getting closer. Hearing this Gautam says it is good news and decides to see what he can do with this information.
Ansh and Preet Decide to Fight Back
Ansh becomes angry because Gautam has sent him a legal notice which means he cannot meet Pranshi. Preet tries to calm him down and says they will also appeal in court and fight the case.
Ansh admits that being around Preet gives him confidence. Together Ansh and Preet decide to visit Anupama in Goa.
Anupama Starts Adjusting to the House
Back at Digvijay’s house Anupama begins cleaning the floor herself. Banku asks if the rules are troubling her adding that he could have cleaned the floor since it is her first day.
However Anupama replies that this house has given her shelter so even if it is only for one month she will treat it like her own home. She promises to do the work happily and wholeheartedly. Digvijay overhears this conversation and enters the room. Anupama warns him to walk carefully because the floor is wet and he might slip. She also comments that the house is so silent that even the thoughts of the heart can be heard.
The Mysterious Locked Room
Meanwhile Jaya starts playing with her ball. Anupama reminds her that she was told not to go outside but Jaya says the ball rolled out by itself.
Jaya then notices a locked room and curiously walks toward it. Immediately Digvijay scolds her and tells her not to touch the door. He firmly says this is not a joke and rules must be followed. Anupama quickly apologizes on Jaya’s behalf. Digvijay calls Banku and angrily asks whether he failed to explain the rules properly. He clearly states that no one is allowed to go near that locked door. If anyone even accidentally approaches it again he will throw them out of the house immediately.
Later Anupama apologizes to Banku for getting him scolded but Banku says being scolded daily is normal for him. He again warns them never to go near the door otherwise he could lose his job.
Anupama and Jaya’s Emotional Moment
Anupama tells Jaya that her school is far from the house so she must wake up early. Jaya complains that she thought Digvijay was a gentleman but now she feels he is neither kind nor polite.
Anupama gently explains that Digvijay is older and this is his house yet he still allowed them to stay there. If he had refused they would have had nowhere to go. Therefore they should be grateful and behave properly as guests. Jaya finally understands. Soon she says she feels hungry. Anupama realizes she forgot to pack food and she hesitates about entering the kitchen on the very first day.
Instead she gives Jaya a banana to eat. Jaya then offers one banana to Anupama as well and the two share a quiet hug while Anupama silently cries.
Rahi Struggles Without Anupama
Elsewhere Pranshi starts crying and Rahi tries to handle her while feeling worried. She remembers Anupama. At the same time Anupama thinks about Rahi and says that a mother feels helpless when she cannot support her child. She worries that Rahi must be struggling alone with Pranshi and if they were together they could at least support each other.
Digvijay’s Past
The next morning Anupama decides to place her Tulsi plant which reminds her of Prarthana. She emotionally says she wishes Prarthana had been with her and that she could have saved her that day.
Anupama asks Digvijay’s permission to keep the Tulsi plant and he agrees. She performs a small prayer wishing for her family’s happiness and hoping she gets work soon since Jaya’s responsibility depends on her. While arranging the plants, Anupama notices one plant labeled with the name Saavi and a date written on it. Just then Banku arrives and quickly tells her not to touch that plant. Curious Anupama asks who Saavi is.
Banku reveals that Saavi is Digvijay’s daughter. Anupama is completely shocked by this revelation.
Precap: Rahi and Prem wait for Prerna who soon returns with gifts. Meanwhile Anupama notices that the locked room is open. Curious she quietly peeks inside and sees Digvijay singing and dancing there.
Suddenly Digvijay catches Anupama spying and angrily shouts asking how she dared to enter the room.
