Today’s episode starts with Rajini venting her deep frustration to Anupamaa. She says she has spent her entire life forcing herself into people’s lives just to earn a place in their hearts. She sacrificed everything her home, family, children, and even herself. Prerna her daughter hates her because Rajini devoted her entire life to politics and to people who never truly accepted her. She struggled endlessly yet failed to earn even a small place in anyone’s heart.
Rajini questions Anupamaa asking how long it has been since she arrived there yet she managed to win everyone over so easily. She recalls their school days, saying Anupamaa was always the favourite bringing medals home while teachers showered Anupamaa with love and attention. Overcome with jealousy Rajini asks Anupamaa to leave.
Anupamaa’s Strong Reply
Anupamaa calmly but firmly responds. She says she has heard women envy other women for their beauty, jewellery, and good fortune but this is the first time she has seen a woman jealous of another woman’s simplicity. She asks Rajini what harm the chawl residents have done to her. Why is she ruining their lives? How much money will she earn by doing this and what will she do with it when everyone comes into this world empty-handed and leaves empty-handed
Rajini retorts bitterly saying that worrying about what happens after death is pointless. She believes one should be living in today if they keep thinking about tomorrow. She reminds Anupamaa of her childhood struggles how she once begged for every single penny and lived in extreme poverty. Now that fate has finally given her wealth, power, and ambition Anupamaa expects her to kick it all away.
Rajini declares that this is her life and she wants to live it for herself not die for others like Anupamaa does. She bluntly says the world moves forward by crushing the weak and the poor.
Rajini Reveals Dark Past
Rajini admits she once lived for others her family, children, and relatives. She sacrificed her career and sat at home but her husband Raghubeer considered her weak. He tortured her mentally and physically day and night. He never understood her emotions and only cared about his political ambitions.
She confesses that she became so miserable that she prayed for his death and her prayer came true. Raghubeer died and she felt no grief. Ironically his death opened new doors for her. She received an election ticket won with massive support through sympathy but staying on the political throne proved far more difficult than reaching it. She declares that to remain in power she will do whatever it takes.
Rahi’s Fear for Anupamaa
Back at the chawl Rahi notices a handprint on the wall and angrily tries to wipe it off. Prem stops her. Rahi breaks down saying Anupamaa does not understand that one promise has already caused so much trouble and now she has taken on another responsibility. She fears that if Rajini does not listen Anupamaa will even fall at her feet.
Rahi says being good is fine but being too good destroys a person. If Anupamaa loses this fight everyone will turn against her. She fears that in anger someone might even hurt Anupamaa. Prem consoles her as Rahi admits that Anupamaa is ready to die in this battle but she cannot bear to lose her.
Rajini Threatens Anupamaa
Anupamaa tells Rajini that she agrees Rajini suffered deeply but asks what fault the chawl residents have committed. Why is she taking revenge on innocent poor people?
Rajini snaps back saying Anupamaa only knows how to give speeches. She wants money and will go to any extent to get it. She warns Anupamaa not to stand in her way as she has the NOC Anupmaa is power of attorney and she has signed documents. The chawl will be demolished no matter what.
Calling Anupamaa her friend Rajini offers her a deal stop supporting the chawl residents think about herself for once and hold her hand. Rajini promises to secure Anupamaa’s future and her family’s safety.
Anupamaa’s Refusal and Warning
Anupamaa refuses. Rajini shows her a mirror and urges her to do something she has never done before think about herself and her happiness. She mocks the chawl residents calling them insignificant and replaceable.
In anger Anupamaa throws the mirror and declares that the chawl residents are her family. She warns Rajini that those who fly too high fall the hardest. She promises that as long as she is alive no one will even dare to look at the chawl with bad intentions.
Grabbing Rajini’s hand firmly Anupamaa warns her to correct her actions and apologise or face consequences she herself may not be able to imagine. Rajini calls her security. Anupamaa gives her one last chance to apologise but Rajini orders the guards to throw her out.
The guards push Anupamaa out of the house and shut the gate. Anupamaa falls to the ground.
Anupamaa Breaks Down at the Temple
Lost in her feeling Anupamaa hallucinates that the chawl residents are blaming and cursing her for destroying their homes. Overwhelmed she collapses on the road. Hearing temple bells she walks inside and prays to God.
She cries saying she will not break. She questions why despite always choosing the path of truth and goodness she keeps getting betrayed and left alone. She breaks down begging God to protect the chawl residents give Rajini wisdom and show her the right path. Exhausted and broken she asks God to answer her questions and punish the guilty.
Parag Reveals the Truth
Parag arrives at the temple. He admits he was going to Rajini’s house but stopped after seeing Anupamaa. Standing before God he confesses that he did not know which chawl was being redeveloped when he agreed to the project. Later Rajini told him that Anupamaa was negotiating with the chawl residents for the NOC.
Parag admits Rajini deceived both her and the chawl residents by changing the documents. He accepts that Rajini wronged betrayed Anupamaa and everyone.
Precap : The chawl residents throw Anupamaa’s belongings out and warn her not to step inside again. They try to attack her but Sairat and Jassi stand by her side. Anupamaa declares she will not leave until she gets the chawl residents their homes back.
Later Anupamaa files a police complaint against Rajini accusing her of fraud and forced signatures. The inspector asks for proof. Rajini coldly responds that she will give proof only when it exists.
