Today’s episode starts with Rajani asking Anupama if she and Dance Rani are performing at an event. Anupama says yes. Rajani pulls her leg, saying she heard the organisers are inviting a useless guest. Anupama replies that it doesn’t matter who the guest is she just has to perform her best.Suddenly Anupama realises Rajani is joking about herself being the chief guest. They laugh. Anupama says she feels very proud to see Rajani as the chief guest but she will also get nervous.Rajani jokes that people will say Anupama is always in her shadow. Anupama again says she will surely feel nervous in front of her. Rajani asks if she is her mother-in-law that Anupama gets nervous. Anupama replies that even her own mother-in-law would bow down in front of Rajani.
Rajani laughs and tells her that the company organising the event does this every year and the money collected is used for the benefit of women to help them become independent. Anupama says she feels blessed to perform at such an event. Rajani says this year they are completing a milestone and the event will be grand, with a lot of media coverage and many famous personalities attending.
Rajani gets a call and tells Anupama they will talk later. Anupama decides she will first celebrate Ishani’s ad shoot and then share her idea with everyone. She looks happy about her plan.
Prarthana threatens Kotharis
At the Kothari house Vasundhara confronts Prarthana for meeting Ansh. Prarthana says she has done nothing wrong and was only supporting her husband. Parag accuses her of trying to ruin their reputation. He calls Ansh an irresponsible husband.
Prarthana defends Ansh saying he never asked her to do anything she chose to help him herself. She says she will always stand by her husband. She also says she is staying in the house only because of her mother-in-law and once the baby arrives, she will return to Ansh.
Vasundhara warns her not to meet Ansh. Prarthana threatens the family saying she will leave the house asking how they can think of breaking their own child’s marriage. Parag is shocked.Raja supports Prarthana and says she is absolutely right. He advises her not to send divorce papers and to listen to her heart. He tells Prem and Rahi not to listen to the elders because they are trying to break marriages. Raja says Mahi is the family’s only favourite leaving Mahi offended.Raja and Prarthana walk out. Rahi tries to speak but Prem tells her not to waste her energy. Vasundhara blames Anupama for everything. Parag tells Khayati to warn Prarthana not to meet Ansh or he will take legal action against him.
Ansh throws all his products in frustration. Kinjal encourages him to take failure as a lesson and work harder. She reminds him of Anupama’s advice.Kinjal tells Ansh that if he trusts himself and is ready to work he should sell the products by changing the brand name. Ansh agrees.
Ishani’s Big Moment Turns Into a Shock
Bharti brings Ishani giving her a surprise. Anupama is very excited to watch Ishani’s first advertisement with the chawl residents. Everyone praises Ishani.
Anupama calls Hasmukh, Rahi, Devika, and others to watch the ad. Pakhi is excited too because Ishani dreams of becoming a TV actress and going to Mumbai. Leela tells Pakhi not to get over-excited. Pakhi daydreams about visiting the set with Ishani.
Rahi, Prem, and Ishani smile as the ad begins. Vasundhara and Parag also arrive. But everyone is shocked to see someone else in the advertisement instead of Ishani.
Shah and Kothari families are stunned. Vasundhara mocks the Shahs and Gautam laughs. Mahi says acting is not easy. Vasundhara taunts that the whole Shah family lives in a delusional world. Rahi gets worried for Ishani. Pakhi breaks down.
Ishani Breaks Down After Being Replaced
Ishani calls the ad agency and angrily questions them. They tell her to calm down saying the client wanted their own Niece to do the ad. They remind her she was paid so she should stop creating drama.
Ishani is devastated and breaks down. Anupama rushes to her. Ishani cries uncontrollably. Anupama tells her to control her emotions because bigger opportunities will come. Pari also tries to console Ishani.
Anupama explains the example of “snakes and ladders” saying life has ups and downs but they must keep climbing without losing hope.
Anupama vows she will never let Ishani and Pari give up. She will always support them. She knows they may not understand her words now but they will one day. Pari and Ishani tell her to stop lecturing, but Anupama insists they must try again and again.
Precap: Anupama is practising for her third performance with Dance Rani, while Rajani demands 50% profit share to move forward with her plan to demolish the chawl.
