In the beginning of the episode, the mehendi function takes place. Vasundhara does a dance and Mahi joins her in the dance, Leela still looks annoyed at Vasundhara and passes comments. All the ladies of the house dance with Vasundhara, Gautam insists Anupama to write his name on Mahi’s hand who gets excited and asks her to also. Anupama agrees and tries to write on Mahi’s hand but the mehendi cone malfunctions, Vasundhara taunts Anupama to write it with happy intentions.
Gautam gives Anupama a new cone and says that only she will write his name on Mahi’s hand and asks her to try again.Anupama from the new cone writes Gautam’s name on Mahi’s hand. Gautam asks her to also write on his hand Mahi’s name; it shocks everyone, but Anupama writes Mahi’s name on Gautam’s hand as well. Mahi requests Anupama to dance on the occasion, Anupama says to her that it’s a celebration and for her she will dance. Anupama with the other ladies of the house dance. Prem and Reet locked eyes and Prem apologized to her for his earlier behaviour and told her he was tense; she also apologized to him and they became normal. Anupama sees them and thanks god that at least one daughter of the house is happy in her life.
Prathana is about to fall and Gautam saves her, everyone rushes to her for her wellbeing. Gautam goes to Ansh and says that he doesn’t need to thank him for taking care of Prathana as he was looking after his child and that the truth is she will realise that she made a huge mistake by leaving him and getting married to him, and instigates Ansh by saying that the child in Prathana’s womb is his. Ansh gets angry and is about to hit Gautam, but Anupama stops him. The family gets shocked looking at Ansh’s outburst; he tells them that Gautam is not a changed man and that he spoke ill about him and Prathana.
Parag asks Ansh to stop disrespecting Gautam as he is the son in law of the house and says to Ansh that as Gautam has saved the family business from ruin and Ansh failed He cannot disrespect Gautam, Vasundhara says to Ansh not to lie. Anupama tells them that Ansh doesn’t lie and says that she is sure that Gautam has done something to instigate Ansh. Anupama reminds everyone of Gautam’s previous character and behaviour.
Mahi screams that she is tired of telling everyone that Gautam is a changed man and says that Ansh should not have a problem with Gautam and her showing care for Prathana as the truth is that Gautam is the real father of the child and they have right over the kid. She says to Ansh that Gautam has more right over the child that Ansh has and Gautam and she will continue to be in the child’s life.
