Today’s episode begins with Anupama asking Prerna what exactly happened in Delhi. Prerna finally reveals the truth and says that she kissed Prem. Anupama is completely stunned hearing this confession.
Meanwhile Prem decides to drink some water. Anupama recalls that ever since Prerna returned from Delhi Prem had been behaving strangely. Suddenly Anupama feels dizzy and almost loses balance. Pari quickly supports her. Anupama then asks Prerna what Prem said after that incident and whether Prem also loves her. Prerna replies that Prem neither loves her nor even likes her in that way. Hearing this Anupama feels a little relieved.
Anupama then asks Prerna what she is still doing at Rahi’s house and how she can continue living there so shamelessly with everyone.
Prerna replies Rahi is her friend and even gave her the place of a sister. Hearing this Anupama suddenly remembers Kavya. She feels that Prerna is doing the same thing to Rahi that Kavya once did to her. The thought shocks Anupama deeply and she again loses her balance. Pari supports her.
Pari angrily tells Prerna that she does not care about Rahi at all and has not even once thought about how Rahi will feel when she learns the truth.
Prerna Defends Her Feeling
Prerna says she did think about Rahi because Rahi is her very good friend. She never wanted to hurt her. However she says she has truly fallen in love with Prem and she cannot hide real love and loving someone secretly is not wrong. Anupama strongly disagrees and says that loving someone else’s husband is wrong.
Prerna responds that maybe this thinking belonged to the old times and now times have changed.
Anupama firmly replies that times may change but the meaning of sindoor and marriage has not changed. Prerna argues that girls have also changed and she is a modern woman. If she has fallen in love why should she hide it?
Prem Finally Explains the Truth
At that moment Prem arrives and tells Prerna to stop talking. Prem clarifies everything to Anupama. He says he did nothing wrong and had actually told everything to Rahi on a phone call that day. However Prerna begged him not to tell Rahi at that time.
He further explains that after Prerna’s behavior he had warned her clearly. Anupama is shocked hearing this. She suddenly remembers Maya and Kavya’s words from the past. Prem says that people often assume that since he is a man he must have done something wrong but that is not the truth. Prerna says that if Prem were like that she would have never fallen in love with him. She says Prem is different and he gave her respect that no one had ever given her before. Hearing this Anupama again remembers Maya’s words and breaks down emotionally.
Anupama Fears History Repeating for Rahi
Anupama starts thinking that whatever happened with her in the past should never happen with her daughter. She believes that Rahi and her destiny cannot be the same.
Prem asks Anupama if she trusts him. He says he wanted to tell Rahi the truth but he was already very disturbed because many things were happening at home. Hearing Prem’s explanation Anupama suddenly remembers Vanraj’s words from the past. Anupama replies that whatever the reason may be hiding the truth from wife is wrong. She says if Rahi finds out the truth from someone else it will hurt her deeply.
At that moment Anupama is shocked to see Rahi standing behind them having heard everything.
Rahi Confronts Prem and Prerna
Prem tells Rahi that he did nothing wrong. He says he wanted to tell her everything but he was afraid of hurting her. Prerna then adds that she and Prem had decided not to tell Rahi anything. Prem immediately denies this and says they never decided it together. He says he was planning to tell Rahi himself.
Rahi calmly replies that the truth is he never actually told her. Prerna says that sometimes things are hidden not to deceive someone but to handle the situation. Prem holds Rahi’s hand and apologizes.
Prerna Apologizes
Prerna apologizes to Rahi and says that Prem did nothing wrong. Whatever happened was entirely from her side. She explains that at that time the wounds given by her mother were still fresh and she felt that she had no one in the world. When she met Prem he spoke kindly to her and made her feel supported like a friend.
She insists that she never thought she would become a part of Prem’s life beyond friendship. Anupama interrupts and says that if that was the case she should have maintained distance. She questions how Prerna could even think of loving someone else’s husband.
Prerna replies that Prem is an ideal man and it is impossible for someone to meet him and not fall for him.She admits that she truly loves Prem but it is one-sided because Prem has never shown such feelings for her. Prem tells her that he can speak for himself and does not need her help. He clearly says that he loves only Rahi.
Rahi’s Pain and Broken Trust
Prerna again clarifies that nothing ever happened between her and Prem and she never even tried to come between them.
Rahi firmly says that Prerna does not even have the status to come between her and Prem. She also says that Prem does not need to prove his innocence. Rahi declares that even if God himself tells her that Prem is wrong she will refuse to believe it because she trusts Prem completely. Prem hugs Rahi and assures her he has not lied.
However Rahi asks why he hid the truth if he had done nothing wrong. She says the truth that she should have heard from Prem came to her from someone else. Rahi admits that her heart is deeply hurt. Anupama silently thinks that a daughter should only receive happiness from her mother’s fate not the pain and tears she herself had to endure.
Anupama Gives Lesson on Marriage
Anupama tells Rahi that trusting one’s husband does not mean accepting that he hides things. She explains that love should be clear like a mirror. For a wife knowing the truth is extremely important. If the situation were reversed and Rahi hid something like this from Prem he would also feel disturbed.
Anupama explains that once truth stops being shared doubt slowly weakens the foundation of a relationship and can even break a home.
She adds that loyalty in marriage does not only mean staying away from others. It means being so close that both partners can see into each other’s hearts and share everything without hesitation. If the husband and wife stop communicating openly darkness begins to cover their love.
Anupama Orders Prerna to Leave
Anupama then turns to Prerna and says that everything she did was wrong. She says loving someone else’s husband and claiming rights in the name of friendship is completely unacceptable.Anupama bluntly says Prerna is wrong from head to toe. She reminds Prerna that Prem is Rahi’s husband not a purse that she can choose to love.
Anupama says she is advising Prerna for her own good and asks her to leave Rahi and Prem’s lives and build a new life somewhere else. Anupama orders Prerna to go to the Kothari house immediately pack her belongings and leave.
Prerna breaks down and says she has no one in this world. She begs Anupama not to throw her out. Anupama replies that Prerna has been alone for many years and is capable of making her own identity and career. She asks her to leave peacefully. Prerna emotionally says that it was very difficult for her to build relationships here. She found a friend like Prem, a sister like Rahi, a family and even a mother figure like Anupama. She begs Anupama not to send her away.
Rahi sadly says that Prerna had everything but she herself lost it. Prerna admits she made a mistake but pleads not to be thrown out.
Rahi Makes a Surprising Decision
Prerna reminds Rahi that the café project is her dream and she has worked very hard on it. If she leaves now the project will suffer. She asks Rahi not to destroy Prem’s dream.
Prem angrily says he does not need Prerna to fulfill his dream and if necessary the dream can go to hell. However Rahi says she knows how important this project is for Prem and she also knows how important Prerna’s role has been in making the deal happen. Rahi says Prerna can continue working with Prem only professionally.
Anupama Opposes Rahi’s Decision
Anupama immediately objects and says that no work in the world is bigger than family. She tells Rahi that if she trusts Prem she should trust his talent too. If help is needed she herself can help him. Anupama says Prerna is only an assistant and work never stops because an assistant leaves. She warns Rahi not to feel sympathy for Prerna and not to take unnecessary guilt on herself.
Rahi Chooses Professional Trust
Rahi explains that she trusts Prem completely and knows the cafe can still open without Prerna. However the deal happened because of Prerna’s efforts and removing her now would be unfair. She says she has not forgiven Prerna but allowing her to work is necessary for the project.
Prem again insists that he does not need Prerna’s help but Rahi says Prem’s dream is important to her. She believes she can trust Prem professionally.
Anupama Fears
Anupama warns Rahi that professional trust may lead to personal betrayal. She begs her not to repeat the same mistake she once made. She even folds her hands in front of Rahi and asks her not to try to be overly noble.
Anupama says the whole world once warned her the same way and today she is saying the same thing to her daughter. But Rahi replies that Prerna will leave after the project is completed. Prerna thanks Rahi for the chance.
Rahi tells Anupama not to be upset and says what happened with her will never happen again because times have changed. Anupama replies that nothing has changed whether the generation is old or new. The meaning of marriage remains the same.
Rahi Sets Strict Conditions
Rahi asks Prerna if she feels guilty for what she did. Prerna admits she does. Rahi warns her never to even think about repeating such a mistake. She says Prerna broke her trust. She gave her a chance but not forgiveness and may never forgive her.
Rahi then tells Prem that he also broke her trust because they had promised never to hide anything from each other. Prem promises that he will never hide anything from Rahi again.
Precap: Prarthana and Ansh tell Vasundhara that they want to take the baby to the temple. Vasundhara refuses and says no one will go anywhere. Anupama agrees with her. However Parag eventually allows them. Prarthana says that Anupama will accompany her to the temple. On the way a truck almost hits Anupama.
Prarthana pushes Anupama away and saves her but gets hit by the truck herself leaving Ansh and Anupama completely shocked.
