Today’s episode begins with Anupamaa questioning Khayati about what she meant by and what she was referring to. Parag signals Khayati to divert the topic and not reveal the truth. Khayati quickly changes the subject leaving Anupamaa confused. Anupamaa then says that she will try to attend Prarthana’s baby shower.
Parag feels relieved that the truth did not come out. Rajini thinks to herself that she has escaped for now but wonders why Parag felt the need to tell things his wife and questions why these people act so foolishly.
Rajini asks Anupamaa if she plans to go to Parag’s house. Anupamaa replies that she is unsure because so much has happened. On one hand she feels she has not seen Ansh and Kinjal for many days and on the other hand Prarthana is insisting that she come. She is confused and asks Rajini what she should do.
Rajini advises her that based on whatever little she knows Anupamaa should attend the baby shower because it is Prarthana’s special day. Anupamaa agrees and decides to leave the same day with Prem and Rahi.
Rajini then calls the builder and tells him that the demolition work of the chawl can begin the next day since Anupamaa will not be in the city. Anupamaa senses that Khayati wanted to say something more but suddenly changed her tone. She decides that she will ask everything directly at the baby shower. Rajini confidently thinks that even if Anupamaa finds out she will not be able to stop anything.
The next morning Ansh and Kinjal decorate the house. Leela clarifies that the baby shower is not at Shah House but at the Kothari house. Ansh explains that happiness is coming there too because Anupamaa has arrived.
Hasmukh announces Anupamaa’s arrival and Ansh and Kinjal rush to meet her. Toshu taunts Ansh saying that the joy of a baby lasts only a few days but the responsibility lasts a lifetime. Anupamaa cheers Ansh up.
Pari meets Toshu and clearly states that she has come only because of Ansh and for no other reason. Pakhi questions Ishani about why she has returned instead of staying in Mumbai and attending auditions. Ishani replies that she came for Ansh and missing one audition does not matter.
Pakhi receives repeated messages from Diwakar. Ishani asks who keeps messaging her but Pakhi lies. Ansh meets Pari and Ishani . Toshu tells Anupamaa about his new business while Hasmukh asks about Bharti. Anupamaa shares that Bharti is very happy. Leela asks Anupamaa to forget Mumbai for one day and relax.
Rajini Celebrate Her Victory
Varun stops Rajini from eating sweets saying that the wedding celebrations are over. Rajini replies that these sweets are not for the wedding but for her bigger happiness their victory and Puravi Chawl’s defeat.
Varun asks about Prerna and Rajini says that Prerna does not know about their plan yet. When Varun asks about Anupamaa Rajini says she has gone to Ahmedabad and will return soon but by then it will already be too late. Rajini jokingly tells Varun to eat sweets as well saying that while Anupamaa is busy with a baby shower their pockets are getting filled.
At Shah House Anupamaa performs aarti and prays that everything goes well because it is an important day. Leela asks why Anupamaa did not bring Prem and Rahi home if they came together. Anupamaa explains that she asked them but they went straight to the Kothari house.
At the Kothari house Rahi introduces Prerna to the family. Vasundhara is shocked to learn that Prerna is Rajini’s daughter and expects her to seek blessings but Prerna instead moves forward to shake hands. Prerna explains that Prem is her college friend and their uninvited guest.
Gautam is shocked to learn that Prerna and Prem studied together. Rahi says that she trusts Prem and brought Prerna along so that it would be easier to learn the truth about Rajini. Gautam sarcastically comments that even if there is no triangle now it could become one later. Vasundhara gets irritated by Prerna’s words and asks Rahi to explain the house rules to her. Vasundhara wonders why Prerna has come there.
Back at Shah House Anupamaa is busy cooking. Leela remarks that she went straight into the kitchen after arriving. Anupamaa replies that the kitchen is her favourite place. She serves everyone food and gives Hasmukh a special cream roll she brought from Mumbai.
Prem cooks for Rahi and Rahi recalls Anupamaa’s advice about Rajini and Prerna. Anupamaa had warned her not to let doubt affect her relationship with Prem explaining that suspicion is like a spark that can burn everything. She had also advised Rahi to balance family, career, and marriage and not repeat the mistakes she herself once made.
Rahi flirts with Prem and they share a romantic moment. Gautam and Mahi see them together. Mahi tries to provoke Rahi by saying she should not have brought Prerna home. Rahi calmly replies that Prerna is her friend and that she trusts Prem.
Diwakar’s Shocking Return
Gautam hints to Rahi about the trouble Diwakar caused her in Mumbai. Rahi is shocked and panics worrying about what will happen if family finds out and fearing that Diwakar might even come there.
Kinjal asks Anupamaa why she has started cooking again. Anupamaa replies that she is making laddoos for Prarthana. She realizes that she forgot to inform Rajini that Prerna is with her and calls her. Rajini accidentally answers while talking to the builder and says that the chawl must be demolished before Anupamaa returns. However Anupamaa does not hear this clearly and only wonders if Rajini was talking about houses being broken.
Pakhi arrives at Shah House with Diwakar. Prem and Rahi reach nearby and Rahi asks Prem for some time before entering fearing Anupamaa might get worried. Prem reassures her. Both Prem and Rahi are shocked to see Pakhi bringing Diwakar inside.
Anupamaa is stunned on seeing Diwakar in her house.
Precap: Anupamaa grabs Diwakar by the collar and questions how he dared to enter her house. Pakhi pushes Anupamaa away and warns everyone not to touch Diwakar announcing that he is her future husband and Anupamaa’s future son-in-law. Rahi, Prem, and the entire Shah family are left in shock. Anupamaa tries to explain to Pakhi that Diwakar is only using her but Pakhi questions who Anupamaa is to interfere in her life. Anupamaa firmly replies that she is her mother.
