Talking about Deepa’s state of mind Ashika shared that her character is confident and self-reliant but still longs for emotional support. “Deepa is independent but deep down she hoped Bhanu would step up and take responsibility. Ashika also revealed that the toughest part of playing Deepa was showing her pain without expressing it openly. “The most difficult part was portraying Deepa’s inner struggle. She is badly hurt but she cannot allow herself to fall apart because her daughter is watching her. Showing that quiet pain while staying strong on the outside was emotionally challenging yet very rewarding for me as an actor” she said.

On a personal level Ashika shared that she strongly connects with Deepa’s self-respect and dignity. “I relate a lot to Deepa’s strength and sense of self-worth. Like her I believe in moving ahead with dignity instead of holding on to someone who doesn’t value you” she added calling the character both real and inspiring.
