The shadow of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has once again fallen over Bollywood, with actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty becoming the latest targets of a series of alarming threats. In a disturbing escalation, a new voice note allegedly from the gang warns that they will begin targeting the personal staff of the celebrities if their demands are not met.
A Direct Threat to “Fall in Line”
The threat, which surfaced on Friday, was reportedly sent via a WhatsApp voice note by an individual identifying himself as “Hari Boxer,” a known member of the Bishnoi syndicate. Unlike previous warnings that focused on the stars themselves, this message takes a more sinister turn by focusing on the people who work behind the scenes.
In the audio recording, the caller is heard telling Ranveer Singh to “fall in line” or face the consequences. The speaker claimed that the gang has “complete details” of the actor’s managers and staff members, including their home addresses, office timings, and family information.
“We won’t say anything to you directly; we will start targeting the people who work under you,” the voice note warns. “That is when you will come to your senses.”
Rohit Shetty in the Crosshairs
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty was also explicitly named in the message. This comes just days after a terrifying incident where five rounds were fired outside Shetty’s residence in Juhu. Security agencies are treating these threats with high priority, as the gang appears to be using a “pressure tactic” by involving the families of innocent employees.
The caller also issued a broader warning to the entire Hindi film industry, stating that anyone who ignores calls from the gang will face a similar fate.
Security Tightened Across Mumbai
Following the threats, security has been significantly beefed up outside the residences of both Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty.
Armed Personnel: Ranveer Singh and his wife, Deepika Padukone, have reportedly deployed private armed guards at their housing complex.
Police Investigation: The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has launched a formal probe into the origin of the voice notes, which were allegedly sent using a VPN to mask the sender’s location.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has expressed deep concern, noting that the “prevailing environment of fear” is starting to impact movie production and the morale of the industry. To know such latest updates tuned tellyboosters.com Thank you!
