Carrying fire its legs of powerful, socially relevant storytelling, Colors presents “ shere Hone Ko Hai” the emotional journey of a mother determined to change her daughter’s death.
Kausar who was forced into marriage at a very young age , refuses to let the same fate fall upon her daughter seher. She stands beside her dreams of getting an education and building a future for herself. Her biggest dream is to see seher become a doctor. But her husband Parvez traditional and strict man plans to marry seher to Majid the grandson of Osmaan a respected but old school elder. Mahid himself is quietly fighting his own battles while seeking treatment from Dr.Farid a man who believes in science over superstition.
As Kausar rave against time to stop seger’s marriage the young girls finds herself at a crossroads- will she rise into her own “Seher(Dawn) or will she be pulled back into the darkness her mother escaped?

“ Mahid is deeply layered character-conflict hurt, yet guided by strong sense of justice,” Parth says. “This isn’t your regular boy-next-door role and honesty.it’s the most challenging character I’ve taken on. He wounded and emotional, but he believes he was sent into world to protect those in need. Returning to TV with such powerful role is truly special.
