Today’s episode begins with Satya asking Ketan about his married life. Ketan looks frustrated and admits that even he does not understand what is going on in his marriage. Before he can explain further Vidya arrives and asks him where Narmada is telling him to bring her immediately.
Ketan finds Narmada talking to her boss on the phone and questions her about the call. Narmada calmly tells him it was her boss. Ketan reminds her that they had already discussed this matter. Narmada responds that he had promised to speak to Mahadev regarding her job. She explains that she wants to rejoin work and only has two weeks left to confirm; otherwise the company will hire someone else. Ketan gets irritated and taunts her for repeating the same thing again and again. Narmada asks him to put himself in her place and says that if he delays speaking to Mahadev her boss will replace her. Ketan bluntly tells her to let them hire someone else leaving Narmada shocked.
Mahadev Intervenes in the Matter
Mahadev notices the tension between Ketan and Narmada and signals Vidya to understand what is happening. Vidya admits she does not know so she calls both Ketan and Narmada.
When they arrive Kamakshi sarcastically asks Ketan whether Narmada is arguing again. Narmada directly tells Mahadev that she wants to discuss something important she wishes to join her job. Kamakshi begins taunting her and asks why she needs to work when there is no financial shortage in the house. Narmada explains that she does not want to work because of any lack of money but to build her own identity. Kamakshi questions whether Vidya lacks an identity since she does not work outside the house. Narmada respectfully says she is not disrespecting anyone but wants to exercise her right to choose. She adds that if needed she will give her entire monthly salary to Mahadev and Vidya.
Kamakshi sarcastically remarks that Narmada has not even started the job and has already begun showing attitude. Narmada firmly says she will follow all the family traditions and rules. She emphasizes that being educated has no meaning if she cannot use her knowledge. She clarifies that this is not about stubbornness but about independence and standing on her own feet. According to her every woman should work and create her own identity.
She finally tells Mahadev that if he refuses permission she will not take the job but she wanted to express her feelings honestly. Mahadev responds that every house has its own rules. Just as he handles the rice mill business Vidya manages the household. He assures her that everyone’s role is equal and says he will think about the matter after she has breakfast.
Rajji Refuses to Forget Kalyan
At Rajji’s house Radha says she never expected Rajji to behave this way. Rajji pleads with her to understand that Kalyan is a good man and she does not want to marry anyone else. Radha asks her to rest because the prospective groom’s family will visit in the evening and tells her to remove Kalyan from her heart. Rajji feels helpless and frustrated.
Kalyan Creates Drama
In the evening the groom’s family arrives at the Bajpai house to meet Rajji. Bhanu says she will bring Rajji. Secretly she calls Kalyan and reminds him of the plan. Kalyan reaches outside the house. Dheeraj notices him and wonders what he is doing there.
As Rajji is brought before the guests Kalyan suddenly enters the house and loudly declares that this marriage cannot happen. Everyone is shocked. According to the plan Kalyan falls at Bhanu’s feet and confesses that he loves Rajji deeply and claims that Rajji loves him too. The groom’s family questions Bhanu about the chaos. Bhanu asks Yash to throw Kalyan out. Even while being dragged away Kalyan continues professing his love. Yash beats him in front of Dheeraj.
Bhanu tells the groom’s family that Kalyan has been obsessively following Rajji but Rajji does not like him. Rajji pretends to feel unwell and Bhanu sends her to her room.
Upstairs Rajji watches Kalyan being beaten and becomes emotional. Dheeraj senses that something is wrong. Yash warns Kalyan not to appear again until Rajji’s wedding. The groom’s family politely says they need time to think. Bhanu requests them to take all the time they need and clarifies that although Rajji is not her biological daughter she raised her like her own child and shares a bond deeper than blood.
Rajji Blames Dheeraj
Later Rajji confronts Dheeraj and accuses him of fueling the conflict. She says he wanted Bhanu to stop trusting her and to destroy her relationship with Kalyan. Dheeraj asks why Kalyan came there in the first place. Rajji says he came because he loves her and because Bhanu is forcing her into marriage.
Dheeraj argues that Bhanu’s decision might be right and calls Kalyan a criminal. Rajji attempts to slap him but he stops her. She warns him not to defame Kalyan. Dheeraj insists that Kalyan is trying to win her trust only to betray her again. Rajji refuses to believe him and runs to her room crying.
Dheeraj Kidnaps Kalyan to Reveal the Truth
Determined to expose Kalyan Dheeraj confronts him ties him to a chair and demands the truth. He beats him and video calls Rajji asking her to come to the location if she wants to know the reality. Rajji secretly leaves the house and Bhanu notices her absence.
Meanwhile Dheeraj continues beating Kalyan. Bhanu’s call appears on Kalyan’s phone under the name Madam Ji. Dheeraj tells Rajji that Kalyan staged the public beating to gain sympathy and that he had previously mixed alcohol into her drink at a party as part of a plan to sell her. He says the repeated calls from Madam Ji are proof of his conspiracy.
Rajji becomes confused but asks Dheeraj to stay within limits. Dheeraj urges her to think carefully and see that he is trying to protect her. Just as Kalyan is about to answer the call Bhanu arrives. She thanks Dheeraj sarcastically for informing her and says she will handle both Kalyan and Rajji herself. She orders Dheeraj to leave.
Bhanu then warns Kalyan never to show his face in the city again. After he leaves she tells Rajji that Holi is the next day and all her feelings for Kalyan must burn away with the colors. She announces that Rajji’s wedding has been fixed for March 9. Rajji is left stunned.
Precap: Bhanu announces the annual Antakshari competition between the Bajpai and Mahadev families and declares that this year they will win. However Mahadev’s family presents a strong challenge. A mysterious gentleman arrives and sings for Bhanu’s team leaving Mahadev and his family shocked.
