Today’s episode begins with Dhariya stopping Mannat from seeing Shruti. He tells her that Mannat is pregnant and that witnessing a road accident in such a condition would not be right. Mannat notices Dhariya’s pale face and asks if everything is fine questioning why he looks so disturbed and if he is hiding something from her. Dhariya reassures her saying that road accidents can be frightening which is why he is nervous and asks her not to worry. Dhariya seats Mannat in the car and asks her to record an audio message. He thinks to himself that he must send Mannat away from there at any cost as she should not find out about Shruti’s accident.
Just then Ronnie arrives and asks Dhariya what happened to Shruti mentioning that the police are saying it is a hit-and-run accident. Dhariya signals Ronnie to stay quiet but Mannat overhears everything. Shocked Mannat runs towards the accident spot to see Shruti. The moment she sees Shruti’s dead body she is devastated and completely breaks down. Ronnie equally shocked says that Vikrant must be informed. Mannat pleads with Dhariya to call a doctor screaming as she looks at Shruti’s condition. She tries to lift Shruti and refuses to believe that she is gone repeatedly asking for a doctor.
Vishakha’s Emotional Drama with Vikrant
Meanwhile Vikrant is lost in memories of Mannat. Vishakha enters his room carrying a suitcase. When Vikrant asks what it is about Vishakha says she feels an unbearable burden in her heart and feels like she is losing herself. When Vikrant asks why she claims that Mannat lied to her and betrayed her yet Vikrant still loves Mannat. She adds that she feels responsible for Vikrant’s pain and has decided to go to Amritsar stay at a gurudwara and serve people as an act of repentance. Vikrant questions the need for repentance but Vishakha emotionally explains that she witnessed her son’s world shatter before her eyes and that a mother’s heart would naturally be disturbed. She says that every corner of the house reminds her of everything and she cannot live there anymore. She suggests going away for a few days to find peace through service. Vikrant agrees to leave with her.
After Vikrant agrees Vishakha feels proud of how innocent Vikrant is and admits that she manipulated him with her words and tears. Her real aim is to keep Vikrant away from Mannat so that he neither meets her nor learns about Shruti’s death.
At the accident site Dhariya asks the police officer to call the forensic team and check all CCTV cameras in the area. The police inform him that there are no CCTV cameras nearby making it difficult to determine how the accident happened or who was responsible.
Mannat Refuses to Accept Shruti’s Death
Holding Shruti’s body Mannat cries and keeps saying that everything will be fine. She insists that she has prepared an audio recording for Vikrant and that she will convince him. She believes they will never fight again and that she will listen to everything she says. She says the doctor is about to arrive and everything will be alright. Mannat tells Shruti that she has to sing a cradle song to her child just like she used to sing to Mannat. She sings the same song begging Shruti to wake up. Ronnie and Dhariya are deeply emotional seeing Mannat in this state.
Vikrant learns about shruti death
Vishakha leaves with Vikrant while Aishwarya happy thinking that Shruti’s chapter is now closed and Mannat is next. At the moment Shalini arrives and is about to tell Vikrant about Shruti when he stops her angrily saying that he does not want to hear Mannat’s name in this house again. Shalini then informs him that Mannat’s mother Shruti is no more. Vikrant is shocked and struggles to process the news. Vishakha and Aishwarya are furious that their plan has failed.
Meanwhile the doctor reaches the accident spot and Mannat feels hopeful. She tells the doctor that Shruti is not talking to her which has never happened before. The doctor gently tells Mannat that Shruti has passed away. Mannat tries to deny it and refuses to believe the truth.
Vishakha stops Vikrant from going to Mannat warning him that people might blame him for the accident and accuse him of being responsible because of his relationship with Mannat. Vikrant is shocked by her words and says that Mannat’s mother has died and Mannat must be completely broken. He cannot sit back worrying about petty accusations when Mannat needs him the most. Vishakha insists that Dhariya is there to support Mannat but Vikrant questions why Dhariya would be with her when he is Mannat’s husband.
Mannat Completely Breaks Down
Mannat continues trying to wake Shruti begging her not to leave. She tells her mother that she can scold or punish her but she must open her eyes. Dhariya finally makes her understand that the doctor is telling the truth and that Shruti is no longer alive. Mannat screams, breaks down completely, and clings to her mother shattered beyond words.
Precap:Mallika lies to Vikrant telling him that Mannat does not want to meet him. She claims that she informed Mannat about Vikrant and Vishakha coming there but Mannat clearly said she wants no relationship with Vikrant. Vikrant firmly declares that he will talk to Mannat and will not stop until he does.
