Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor has officially put his luxury apartment in the upscale Pali Hill area of Bandra West, Mumbai, on the rental market. According to property registration data, the popular actor has leased out his spacious seventh-floor residence in the well-known Vaastu Building for a five-year period. The multi-year leave-and-license agreement was officially registered, confirming that the new tenant, identified as Aditya Shukla, will be paying a hefty monthly rent of eleven lakh rupees. To secure this premium property, the tenant has also provided a massive security deposit of forty-five lakh rupees. The long-term rental contract is designed with a standard five percent financial escalation clause, meaning that the monthly rental cost will systematically increase by that percentage after every passing year of the five-year tenure.
This particular prime property carries a strong celebrity legacy and represents a major piece of real estate in Mumbai. Spanning over an impressive area of two thousand four hundred and sixty square feet, Ranbir Kapoor originally purchased this premium luxury apartment back in the year 2016 for approximately thirty-five crore rupees. Beyond its elite location in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after neighborhoods, the flat gained substantial attention in the past because its beautiful internal decor and styling were personally curated and executed by the famous celebrity designer Gauri Khan. The actor lived in this specific Bandra home for quite a while before making a major residential move with his family.
The decision to rent out the luxury apartment comes right after Ranbir Kapoor and his wife, actor Alia Bhatt, shifted their primary base into their newly renovated ancestral property. The couple, along with their young daughter Raha, moved into the grand Krishna Raj bungalow, which is also located in the same Pali Hill locality. This massive ancestral property underwent a highly extensive, multi-year structural renovation and rebuilding process before finally being completed. Valued at a staggering estimate of around two hundred and fifty crore rupees, the multi-story Krishna Raj bungalow is now widely recognized as one of the most expensive and elite celebrity residences in the entire city of Mumbai, standing proud alongside other iconic celebrity homes like Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat and Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa.
