Rohit Suchanti was born on 6 April 1996 in Patna India and later grew up with roots connected to Jaipur Rajasthan. He comes from a well-settled family with a film-related background. His father Sandeep Suchanti is a film distributor which gave Rohit early exposure to the entertainment world. His mother Rajini Suchanti has been a constant support in his life. Rohit has one elder brother Shobhit Suchanti who is a businessman.

Rohit completed his schooling from multiple institutions including Step By Step School Shillong Navi Mumbai High School and Baldwin Boys’ High School Bengaluru. He later graduated from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College Bengaluru. From a young age Rohit was inclined toward acting, fitness, and performing arts.

Acting Journey

Rohit began his acting journey as a child artist with the TV show Saas Bina Sasural (2010). Although his role was small it gave him his first taste of the television industry. As a teenager he worked on improving his skills, physical fitness and screen confidence.

His real entry into mainstream television came through episodic roles in popular youth-based shows. In 2014 he played Dhruv in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya Season 4. This was followed by roles in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya Season 5 and Season 7 where he portrayed characters like Vikram and Abhay. These appearances helped him gain visibility and experience in front of the camera.

In 2015 Rohit appeared in MTV’s Warrior High where he played the role of Rohit Agrawal. Though not the main lead the show connected him with the youth audience and added to his growing popularity.

Television Breakthrough

A major turning point in Rohit Suchanti’s career came in 2017 when he joined Saath Nibhaana Saathiya on Star Plus. He played Ramakant (Ricky) Modi the son of the iconic characters Gopi and Ahem. The same year Rohit expanded into the digital space with ALTBalaji’s web series Class of 2017 where he played Jai. This project showcased his modern youthful side and proved his versatility beyond daily soaps.

His biggest career breakthrough arrived when he was cast as the male lead Ratan Maan Singh in Sony TV’s Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya (2017–2018).

Reality show

In October 2018 Rohit entered Bigg Boss 12 as a wildcard contestant. His entry brought fresh energy to the house. During his journey Rohit was seen taking firm stands getting involved in strong arguments and forming close bonds especially with Srishty Rode which became a major talking point of the season. Though his stay was not very long Bigg Boss significantly increased his visibility and fan following.

After Bigg Boss 12 Rohit returned to scripted television with renewed popularity. In 2019 he played Anshuman Sharma in Zee TV’s Dil Yeh Ziddi Hai strengthening his image as a romantic lead.

His most successful and longest-running role came in August 2021. when he was cast in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi produced by Ekta Kapoor. He played Rishi Oberoi from 2021 to 2025. Opposite him was Aishwarya Khare as Lakshmi. Their on-screen pairing quickly became one of the most loved TV couples of recent times.The character of Rishi brought him massive popularity making him a household name. He continued in the role until June 2025 becoming one of the most consistent male leads on Indian television during that period.

In July 2025 Rohit Suchanti took on a new challenge by joining Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 where he plays Angad Virani. Being part of such an iconic franchise marks an important phase in his career and connects him with both nostalgic and new-generation audiences.
