Samarth Jurel was born on 30 April 2001 in Indore Madhya Pradesh into a Hindu family. He spent his formative years in Indore where he completed his schooling at The Emerald Heights International School. From a young age Samarth was disciplined and sports-oriented deeply influenced by his father Mahendra Singh Jurel who encouraged him to pursue athletics.
Before stepping into the glamour world Samarth pursued cricket seriously. In 2018 he began playing competitively and continued for several years. His dedication paid off when he won awards such as “Player of the Match” and “Best Batter” in 2022. However despite success on the field Samarth felt drawn toward the creative world of acting.
In a turning point of his life he moved to Mumbai initially under the excuse of further cricket training but secretly nurtured dreams of becoming an actor.
Acting Journey
Samarth began working as a model walking in fashion shows and collaborating with various brands. To sharpen his acting skills he enrolled in professional training programs at Mumbai Film School and also attended an acting institute in Indore. He invested time in theatre acting workshops and self-learning by studying performances and scripts.
His first on-screen opportunities came through small television roles which gradually helped him gain confidence and industry exposure.

Samarth made early appearances in shows like Prem Bandhan and Anupamaa where he played short but noticeable roles. His career gained momentum when he appeared in Udaariyaan which introduced him to a wider audience.
The major breakthrough came in 2023 when he played the lead role of Harsh Tiwari in Zee TV’s Maitree. His performance was appreciated and his screen presence establishing him as a promising young television actor.

Samarth was in a relationship with actress Isha Malviya from 2022 to early 2024. Their relationship became a major talking point during Bigg Boss 17. After the show the couple parted ways. In later interviews Samarth openly expressed his feelings about the breakup stating that it was not mutual and that he felt emotionally hurt.
Despite personal challenges Samarth has remained focused on his career growth and self-improvement.
