Today’s episode opens with Mahid questioning Seher about why she was trying to break the window. Afraid that he might side with Parvez if the truth comes out Seher quickly fabricates a reason claiming she heard noises inside and suspected someone might be trapped. While checking the room the two get unexpectedly close leaving Seher uneasy.
In another corner Parvez reiterates that women are powerless and will never dare oppose their husbands. He tells Kausar not to forget her place.Kausar however reminds herself that even if a woman bows down a mother will fight without fear when it comes to her daughter’s safety.
Outside Mahid’s friend spots him with Seher and jokingly calls her bhabhi. Seher becomes embarrassed and runs off when Parvez calls her. Annoyed by the teasing Mahid scolds his friend.
Wasim Plots Against Mahid
Later Nazima vents his anger about usman’s final decision. Fatima tries to soothe him while Nazima breaks into tears crying that her life is over. She laments that Mahid will marry Seher even after all her efforts to win him over including teaching at the madarsa just to impress him.
Fatima bitterly says that Seher will enter their home wearing a red bridal dress while her own daughter will be left heartbroken. Hearing this Waism forms a plan. He promises Nazima that he will provoke Mahid and make sure the wedding collapses.
Mahid’s Pain Resurfaces
Pretending to need help Wasim approaches Mahid with a donation list. Hidden inside is a red dress. As soon as Mahid sees the color he is hit with the memory of his mother’s suicide. He slams his hand in anger until it starts bleeding.
Parvez instructs Kausar to escort Seher home and warns her not to roam outside. Kausar agrees and tells Seher she’s going to speak to Farid regarding a job. She also tries to encourage her daughter before leaving.
On the way back Seher sees Mahid collide with someone and walk away without a word. Sensing something wrong she trails behind him. Mahid heads to the graveyard.
Mahid Breaks at His Mother’s Grave
At the graveyard Mahid collapses emotionally in front of his mother’s resting place. He cries that she abandoned him and left him to struggle alone questioning how she could end her life in front of him. He says she found peace while his nights are filled with torment and sleeplessness. He vows never to forgive her.
Nearby a grieving old man begs the graveyard caretaker to bury his son lacking the money to pay. When the caretaker refuses an argument breaks out. Seeing the injustice Mahid snaps and attacks the man in fury.
Seher Helps a Girl Escape
While watching all this Seher notices another man dragging his daughter home forcefully. She intervenes and helps the terrified girl escape. The man recognizes Seher as Usman’s future daughter-in-law.
When Seher returns Kausar questions her whereabouts. Scared Seher makes up a story to cover her delay. Nazima then appears and sternly orders Seher to wear a red dupatta before meeting Mahid.
