Early Life
Born on 10 June 1993 in Jeddah Saudi Arabia Tejasswi was raised in a Marathi family in Mumbai. Her father Prakash Wayangankar is an engineer and her brother Pratik is also in the engineering field. She grew up in a supportive disciplined environment that encouraged learning and pursuing passions.
Tejasswi completed her schooling in Mumbai before earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Mumbai. While she had a promising academic path ahead her love for performance arts and stage events gradually steered her toward acting.
Acting Journey
Tejasswi began her acting journey in 2012 with the thriller series “2612” on Life OK portraying Rashmi Bhargava.Though her role was small it gave her confidence and experience in front of the camera. The following year she appeared as Dhara Vaishnav in Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki gaining early recognition for her natural acting skills.
Her career breakthrough came in 2015 with Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur where she played Ragini Maheshwari. The character required emotional depth and Tejasswi’s performance won both audience love and industry attention.
