TRP Report: Naagin 7 Strong Debut, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Tops the Chart

Television TRP charts this week have thrown up some interesting shifts with Naagin 7 making a powerful debut and long-running favourites continuing their dominance. The fantasy drama has opened on an impressive note while family dramas remain viewers top choice.

Newly launched Naagin 7 starring Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Namik Paul has registered a solid opening. The show clocked an impressive 2.5 TRP on Day 1 while its overall rating stands at 2.1. The strong start clearly indicates the franchise’s loyal fan base and high curiosity around the new season.

Topping the charts this week is Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi – 2.2.The iconic show led by Smriti Irani continues to enjoy massive nostalgia-driven viewership and has emerged as the number one show on television.

Close behind is Naagin 7 with an overall 2.1 rating followed by Anupamaa starring Rupali Ganguly which also holds steady at 2.1. continues to be a consistent performer and remains one of the most-watched shows across households.

Here’s a look at the Top 5 shows of the week:

Beyond the top five Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recorded 1.8 TRP each maintaining steady viewership due to their loyal audience base.

Shows such as Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, Udne Ki Aasha, and Vasudha followed with 1.7 TRP reflecting stable performance.

In the mid-tier show like Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki, Aarti Anjali Awasthi, and Jagadhatri earned 1.4 TRP while Tu Juliet Jatt Di stood at 1.3 TRP for the week.

Several shows including Mangal Lakshmi, Mangal Lakshmi – Lakshmi Ka Safar, Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, Jhanak, and Shiv Shakti- Tap Tyaag Tandav posted 1.2 TRP indicating consistent but moderate audience engagement. Shehzaadi Hai Tu Dil Ki and Saru followed closely with 1.1 TRP.

Among reality and non-fiction shows Indian Idol, Bindi – Dil Se Daring, Sahar Hone Ko Hai, and Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah each recorded 1.0 TRP. Itti Si Khushi closed the week at 0.9 TRP while Jhanak Dil Se, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi, Gatha Shiv Parivar Ki – Ganesh Kartikeya, Pushpa Impossible and Noyontara stood at 0.8 TRP.

Further down the list Kaun Banega Crorepati registered 0.7 TRP followed by India’s Got Talent with 0.6 TRP. At the lower end Mahabharat: Ek Dharmayudh and Mere Sai both recorded 0.4 TRP while Ideabaaz finished the week with 0.1 TRP.
