Calling it a defining phase Vijay described the year as special for many reasons. It was the time he worked with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time in Pink under the direction of Shoojit Sircar an experience that marked a major milestone in his acting journey. The year also brought him face-to-face with legends he admired including Sachin Tendulkar and the late Irrfan Khan meetings that left a lasting impression on him.

Beyond work 2016 was also about new friendships and memorable moments. Vijay spoke about forming close bonds with co-actors like Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh collaborating on projects such as Yaara with Tigmanshu Dhulia alongside Vidyut Jammwal and Amit Sadh and even featuring in the music video Naina Bawre. It was a phase filled with discovery, learning, and the early taste of recognition.

Looking back nearly a decade later those memories continue to hold meaning. For Vijay Varma 2016 wasn’t just another year it was when dreams slowly began turning into reality marking the start of a steady rise built on experience rather than noise.

On the work front Vijay is now gearing up for Matka King a period crime thriller series created and directed by Nagraj Manjule adding another noteworthy chapter to his growing body of work.
