Today’s episode starts with Armaan sitting in the bathtub filled with water emotionally drained and lost in thoughts. He falls asleep there recalling his painful conversations with Abhira. He suddenly wakes up shaken as the memories refuse to leave him.
Abhira–Miara Conflict Over Vani
Abhira tries to make Miara understand that Vani did not do anything intentionally. She explains that ever since Vani entered this house she has been sad and scared. Miara argues that because of Vani everyone else has also become sad and her best day turned into the worst. Abhira replies that Vani’s life itself has been the worst at such a young age she has suffered unbearable trauma and has no one of her own.
Miara angrily says that the fight between Armaan and Abhira happened because of Vani her birthday with the whole family got ruined and Abhira keeps defending Vani proving she is not a good girl.
Armaan To Reopen Case
Armaan reaches Mittal and Milind’s office. He signs legal papers and tells Mittal to ask Meher to sign them as well. Mittal asks what the papers are for. Armaan reveals that he is reopening Rajat and Meher’s case. He knows this might shock Mittal and even hurt him but Abhira has doubts about the judgment and he cannot ignore her concern. Abhira would never raise such a serious issue without reason.
Meher overhears this and in anger tries to attack Armaan but someone pulls her away. Armaan turns back but sees no one. He senses that Mittal’s silence suggests he may feel betrayed.
Mittal’s Unexpected Support
Mittal breaks the silence and says people questioned him for handing his daughter’s case to Armaan. He told them that there are many highly qualified lawyers but only one lawyer with strong principles and that is Armaan. He asks Armaan to prove this belief right. He has no objection to reopening the case because if Meher has done nothing wrong she has nothing to fear. If there is any hidden truth it is Armaan’s duty as a lawyer to expose it.
Mittal adds that Armaan can ask for any document, proof or help at any time. Armaan is stunned by his support. Mittal assures him that whatever the outcome there will be no complaint against Armaan. Armaan thanks him sincerely.
Armaan also makes it clear that if Abhira’s suspicion turns out to be true he will not spare anyone even if it costs friendships.
Meher and Mittal’s Dark Plot
Outside Meher confronts Mittal asking why he did not stop Armaan. Mittal warns her to control her anger or the truth will come out. Meher accuses Abhira of controlling Armaan and questions why Mittal agreed to cooperate.
Mittal calmly explains that reacting angrily would have exposed them. Now Armaan himself will come to them for documents and witnesses meaning the situation is still under his control. Meher worries that Armaan will investigate deeply with Abhira and Vani’s support. Mittal coldly assures her that he will not let even a scratch come to Meher. If Armaan proves her guilty Mittal vows to destroy Armaan, his family, and his firm completely.
Miara sits sadly staring at kites. Kaveri tries to cheer her up reminding her how much she loves Makar Sankranti and kite flying. She says the festival symbolizes new beginnings and hope. Just like kites cross walls Miara can help bridge the distance between Abhira and Armaan. Miara asks how. Kaveri tells her that only Miara can light up their world.
Abhira anxiously keeps calling Armaan. When he finally returns she breathes a sigh of relief and scolds him for risking his health. Armaan tells her he went to Mittal’s office to inform them about reopening the case.
Abhira assumes Mittal must have threatened him but Armaan surprises her by saying Mittal has agreed to cooperate and has no objection to reopening the case. Abhira warns that Mittal is clever and pretending to stay calm to hide Meher’s truth. This time Armaan must not fall for his act.
Abhira tries to hug Armaan but he steps back. He admits that the wound of betrayal is too deep. He leaves still hurt and conflicted.
Armaan Explodes at Krish
Krish brings Armaan a towel and tries to justify himself saying he has changed left his bad habits and wants to rejoin the Poddar firm with honesty. Armaan completely loses his temper accusing Krish of repeatedly breaking trust through lies, manipulation, gambling, fraud, and deceit.
Armaan pins Krish against the wall reminding him that trust is earned through actions not words and Krish has failed every time. Armaan exposes Krish’s past saying he didn’t break trust once but again and again and rebuilding trust requires the same number of right actions something Krish avoids. Tanya tries to stop Armaan but Armaan snaps back accusing Krish of pretending to be innocent after ruining Miara’s birthday Krish blames Abhira claiming she caused the chaos which enrages Armaan even more. Armaan fiercely defends Abhira revealing that Krish deliberately created the chaos by exploiting the short circuit and locking Vani in the box. Tanya is shocked when Armaan says staff members witnessed Krish’s actions with their own eyes
Armaan warns Krish saying if he truly wanted to confess he would have done it calmly instead of creating drama on Miara’s birthday.
Armaan highlights the damage caused stating that Krish broke Miara’s heart and gave already traumatized Vani another emotional wound. Armaan delivers a final warning making it clear that if Krish pretends to be innocent or tries to provoke him again he will be thrown out of the house and even the city. Armaan storms out in anger leaving Krish exposed humiliated and silent.
Later Armaan sees Miara carrying a hot cup and scolds her gently. Miara says she made it for him. She blames Vani for everything but Armaan firmly tells her not to speak badly about anyone behind their back.
Seeing Miara upset Armaan softens. He explains that Abhira and Miara are his family and that Vani has already suffered too much in life. Miara asks what happened to Vani. Armaan avoids details and asks her not to take stress.
Miara asks Armaan to rest on her lap and he does. She lovingly caresses his hair. Abhira watches them silently, emotional, and gently tucks them in kissing Armaan softly.
Abhira Console Vani
The next morning Armaan wakes up to find Abhira beside him. She asks if he is going to the office again. Armaan says reopening the case is a huge risk and he cannot stay back. Abhira pleads with him reminding him that Miara’s birthday and her favorite festival were already ruined.
Armaan says Abhira does not understand how deeply she hurt him by questioning his integrity as a lawyer. He leaves for the office.
Abhira Stands by Vani : Vani eats breakfast alone writing Maa Papa with ketchup on her plate. Abhira notices and realizes how much Vani misses her parents. She promises to fight for justice for Vani’s mother. She invites Vani to fly kites with them. Vani hesitates feeling unwanted but Abhira insists and comforts her. Miara watches this silently.
Precap:Armaan and Abhira find a pen drive containing evidence against Meher. Armaan says reopening the case was a big step.but if Meher is guilty he himself may become a criminal connected to Ankita’s murder. Abhira vows that they will reach the truth no matter the cost.
