The episode starts with Abhira handing a card to Abhir for the new manager and asking him to think. As she leaves, Kiara enters and asks him if he has told her about them; he denies it and instead shows the card, how their involvement is ruining the careers of both.
Abhir suggests she can hire someone; deep down, he wants Kiara to stop him. Kiara also wants to stay, but they keep quiet, and Abhir fires her from the job. While Abhira hurts herself saving a family portrait from falling, Abhira is hurt, and Arman can see that.
A Falling Portrait and a Family on the Brink
They both are hurting seeing their family like that; Abhira uplifts Armaan’s spirit, and Armaan tells how he tried to talk to Vidya and Kajal again, but he is so helpless that he can’t do anything. Armaan misses Rohit’s presence today and feels guilty about what if the partition happens. He feels responsible, saying what Rohit might be thinking. Abhira calms him and provides confidence that they will keep everyone together.
Kaveri’s Tears and Memories of Her Late Husband
Whereas Kaveri recalls her deceased husband’s words about partition, she was not in favor that day, and not now. She couldn’t help but cry at the thought of having her family separated.
She receives a call from Chitra about an annual Ghoomar event; Kaveri denies there will be an event this year, and Kaveri feels emotional. Abhira sees and takes the call, saying there will be the event, and Armaan and Maira have already started the prep.
Ghoomar Cancelled? Abhira Refuses to Let Tradition Die
Abhira hands over to Kaveri her box of costumes, saying they will need her support the most, and one by one they hand over the remaining boxes to family. Armaan knocks on Kajal’s door, but as she was about to open it, Tanya speaks first and takes Kajal’s side about the partition and refrains from opening the door, saying to stop the drama and Kajal won’t come in there for drama this time.
As Abhira was planning the responsibility, they see Kajal and family leaving. Abhira stops them. Both Tanya and Krish answer first, but ignoring them, Abhira tells how the function will be incomplete without Kajal, and her presence will mean a lot.
Kajal dramatically starts to do Ghoomar then and there; she shouts that for a fake image, she won’t do drama of normalcy. Abhira calmly asks if she can talk to her privately; both Tanya and Krish object, but Abhira convinces Kajal.
Kajal’s Half-Yes: Ghoomar Participation, Partition Still On
The whole family awaits their arrival, while inside the room Abhira tellsKajal that with or without separation she will always be this house’s daughter. She says how she has always been there for them, going against Sanjay. Abhira urges them for the last time to think. Armaan too tries to revoke Kajal’s childhood memories.
While Vidya is not happy with Armaan and Abhira bending down for Kajal, Mahav reminds her that it was all because of Vidya. Whereas Kajal comes out and agrees to be part of the event, but it doesn’t change the fact that separation is happening.
Precap: The Ghoomar event is organized, and everything goes smoothly till Vidya and Kaveri are face-to-face; with Vidya’s insults, Kaveri decides to leave the house.
