Today’s episode begins with a heated argument between Abhira and Armaan regarding Kiara’s pregnancy. Abhira tells Armaan that he is unfairly blaming Abhir for everything related to Kiara. Armaan responds that Abhir has already ruined Charu’s life and is now trying to ruin Kiara’s life as well and that he is only trying to protect his sister.
Abhira argues that whatever happened between Abhir and Kiara was consensual. She also points out that Abhir got seriously hurt during the confrontation with Armaan and now Armaan is still blaming him for everything. Armaan tries to talk but Abhira tells him that he has already punished Abhir without knowing the full truth and walks away. Armaan tries to stop her.
The Debate Over the Pregnancy
Vidya says that Kiara will have to undergo a medical procedure. Manjari says that Kiara cannot become an unwed mother. Madhav says that the girl wasted too much time coming out of her intoxicated state and now wants to take responsibility for the child alone.
Sanjay blames Kiara for ruining both Charu’s and her own life. Kajal says she is angry with Kiara and does not want to see her face but feels the baby should not suffer. Sanjay questions whether the family is strong enough to carry the burden of losing their family reputation. He says it takes the whole family’s strength to bear the shame of such situations and questions whether they are prepared for it.
Kajal questions Kaveri and asks whether it is right to abort an innocent baby.
Abhira goes to check on Abhir and is shocked to see blood flowing from his head. She panics and calls the doctor loudly. On the other side Kiara is unable to sleep and goes to take medicine. Armaan stops her and explains that the medicine is not good for her in this condition.Abhira remains deeply worried about Abhir’s condition while Armaan tries to make Kiara sleep. Abhira becomes emotional for Abhir.
Armaan is worried about the family situation and thinks about Abhira’s words. He realizes that Abhir made mistakes but the real fight is between him and Abhira. He understands Abhir is her brother and accepts that Abhir may be wrong but he also believes he cannot let his family break apart. He decides that he needs to talk to Abhira. Abhir and Kiara try to talk to each other but Armaan notices and stops them.
Abhira tells Armaan to let Kiara and Abhir talk. Armaan refuses to let Abhir go anywhere near Kiara. Abhira says that if Kiara feels uncomfortable she can say so herself. She understands Armaan’s concern and admits that Abhir has made mistakes in the past but she insists that he has changed and is going to become a father. She says Armaan needs to give them time to process everything.
Abhir’s Proposal Kiara
Abhir kneels down and starts breaking the strings of his guitar. Kiara asks him to stop saying that it is his favorite guitar. Abhir says he is only trying to explain how much he loves her. Abhira tries to explain to Armaan that Kiara and Abhir are adults and can make their own decisions. Armaan tries to stop Abhir but Abhira asks Armaan to calm down and says Abhir is only trying to talk. She tells Armaan to let Kiara decide for herself what she wants.
Abhir tells Kiara that he wants to correct his mistakes and wants to keep her happy. He makes a ring out of the guitar string and proposes marriage to Kiara.
Kiara Refuses to marry abhira
Abhir promises Kiara that he will give her a complete family and take full responsibility as a father. He says he needs her and their baby. Kiara refuses to marry Abhir. She asks him if he would have proposed to her if she were not pregnant. She reminds him how he married earlier because of Charu and now again because of the baby. She reveals that this is the reason she was trying to hide her pregnancy.
Abhir tries to explain that he loves her and says he was not proposing out of compulsion. He admits that he wanted to ensure the baby is not called illegitimate but says she should not say yes under pressure.
The entire Poddar family overhears their conversation. Kiara notices them standing there.Armaan tells Abhir that Kiara has taken her decision and asks him to leave. He pushes Abhir and tells him to go. Abhir asks Armaan not to come between him and Kiara. He accuses Armaan of talking as if he respected Abhira’s decisions but failed to do that in reality. Abhira asks Abhir not to bring her and Armaan into the middle of the matter. Armaan in a fit of rage tells Abhir not to bring his family into it.
Abhir tells Armaan not to comment on his relationship and to look at himself before speaking. Armaan and Abhir aggressively argue. Armaan calls Abhir selfish and says he only thinks about himself. He says Kiara knows this too which is why she refused to marry him.
Abhir tells Armaan not to interfere in their matter. Armaan raises his hand in anger to hit Abhir but Abhira steps in front of Abhir to protect him.
Kaveri’s Ultimatum
Abhira asks Abhir to give Kiara some time. Armaan tells Abhira to stop getting so emotional or she will lose everything.
Kaveri confronts Kiara and asks why she refused to marry Abhir. Abhir tries to support Kiara. Kaveri says that she has now decided that either Kiara will undergo the procedure or marry Abhir. Abhira tells Kaveri not to pressure Kiara.
Kaveri in anger shouts at Abhira and blames her for Kiara’s pregnancy. She asks if Abhira already knew about Kiara and Abhir’s relationship. Kiara comes in support of Abhira. Vidya also starts questioning Abhira. Armaan defends Abhira and blames Abhir for everything. This leaves Abhira deeply disappointed.
Abhira tries to explain to everyone that if blaming Abhir gives them peace they still need to think about how their behavior is affecting Kiara and the baby. Abhira asks everyone to give Kiara time to think about marriage. Armaan also agrees with her.
Sanjay says that their family has become so modern that they are now giving time to Kiara to think even after her mistake. Tanya and Ananya support Armaan and Abhira’s decision.
Kaveri claps sarcastically and asks how Kiara will raise this child. She questions what name the child will be given and how society will mock and insult the child. She asks whether anyone has thought about all of this.
Abhira says that Kiara cannot be happy in a forced marriage. Kaveri replies that Kiara will have to learn to stay happy because she will have to get married.
Kaveri then asks Abhira what she will tell Maira if she asks about Kiara’s pregnancy.
Maira returns home and notices that everyone’s faces look tense. Abhira asks Maira to go inside. Kaveri says that Maira will learn everything by observing what is happening around her.
Precap: Armaan tells Abhira that he cannot let Abhir ruin his family’s reputation. He asks Abhira to tell Abhir to stay away from Kiara. Armaan decides to take his family to Delhi.Abhira tells Armaan that she no longer trusts him and cannot stay with him anymore.
