Today’s episode begins on an emotional note as Abhira promises Anita that she will take full responsibility for Vani. That promise becomes Anita’s final solace she takes her last breath with Abhira’s words echoing in her heart. Abhira is shaken to the core and completely breaks down.
Just then Vani arrives and asks Abhira where Anita is. Seeing Abhira in tears Vani gently wipes her tears and hands her a letter saying that Anita had written it specially for Abhira and wanted her to read it aloud.
As Abhira reads the letter Anita’s words reveal her last wish Vani should always keep smiling and never feel alone because from today onward Abhira will be with her and Abhira will be her mother now. Vani is left stunned. Abhira stops Vani and tells her that Anita had asked her not to cry but adds that today she should cry her heart out Anita would not mind.
At the party Maira’s special billi family bracelet breaks. Armaan comes forward picks up the scattered beads and tells Maira that while the bracelet may have broken the family bond has not. He fixes the bracelet and assures her that Abhira and Armaan will keep the family together forever.
Armaan soon notices that Abhira is missing from the party. He starts looking for her as the Poddar family grows worried since Abhira is nowhere to be found. Just as Armaan is about to step out to search for her Abhira walks into the party. Everyone is shocked by her devastated state.
Abhira’s Explosive Outburst
Armaan asks Abhira where she was and what happened. Meher also tries to question her. Instead of answering Abhira storms up to Meher and slaps her. The entire party is left stunned. When Shyam Mittal questions Abhira for daring to hit Meher Abhira slaps him as well shaking everyone present.
Armaan confronts Abhira asking how she could behave this way with Mittal and Meher reminding her that because of them the firm was restored. Abhira snaps back saying they do not deserve folded hands calling them animals not humans. Enraged Meher grabs Abhira by the neck but Armaan intervenes and saves her.
Mittal accuses Armaan of insulting them by calling them to the party claiming they are not lawyers but goons hiding behind courtrooms. Abhira fires back declaring that words like goons, sinners, criminals, and murderers are made for Mittal and Meher.
The Shocking Truth About Rajat
Abhira reveals the truth to Armaan Rajat had done nothing wrong. It was Meher who murdered him driven by her obsession after not receiving the Women’s Achiever Award. Armaan is stunned. He insists that he fought their case and would never knowingly defend criminals there must have been a misunderstanding.
Abhira explains that while Armaan may not have done it intentionally an unintentional mistake became his sin. When Armaan asks for proof and witnesses Abhira says everything was fake witnesses were bribed and evidence was fabricated. Armaan recalls seeing Meher trembling in pain but Abhira insists it was all an act.
Realizing his mistake Armaan breaks down, saying that Rajat’s wife had come to court and he never even let her speak. Furious and devastated Armaan declares that he will correct his mistake reopen Rajat’s case and bring the truth before the world. He orders Madhav to call the police and arrest Mittal and Meher. As they try to flee the Poddar family stops them.
Armaan says he must go to Anita fall at her feet and beg for forgiveness until then he cannot breathe. Abhira then reveals the devastating truth Anita has taken her own life. Armaan is shattered. He collapses on the floor tearing apart gifts in rage and guilt blaming himself for an innocent person’s death and the destruction of an entire family.
Consumed by guilt Armaan says he cannot live with this burden. In despair he picks up a piece of broken glass and says that the punishment for spilling innocent blood is death. He cuts his wrist.
Suddenly Abhira screams and reality returns. It was Abhira’s horrifying imagination her worst fear playing out in her mind. Back in reality Armaan stands before her worried and asking why she looks so tense and silent. Abhira struggles internally realizing that Armaan may not be able to handle the truth and that she also needs to protect him from Mittal and Meher.
Meanwhile Mittal advises Armaan to speak privately with Abhira as all the guests are watching. As Mittal and Meher leave a waiter accidentally bumps into Meher spilling a drink on her dress. Furious Meher is about to hit the waiter but Mittal stops her Abhira notices this and silently connects the dots.
Vani’s Arrival At Poddar House
As Armaan tries to comfort Abhira she brings Vani with her leaving everyone confused. Armaan asks who the little girl is. Abhira lies saying that Vani is her friend’s daughter. She explains that she had gone to the hospital to meet her friend and found the child alone and brought her to the party so she wouldn’t feel lonely.
Surekha and Kiara return home when Kiara drops her earring. Surekha scolds her for being careless. Manisha arrives at the Goenka house saying she has come to stay for a few days to take care of Kiara. Surekha feels offended thinking Manisha believes they are not caring for Kiara properly.
Manisha says she misses Kiara and believes she needs extra care during pregnancy. Upset Surekha walks away. Abhir asks Kiara what all this means and Kiara wonders if Manisha has realized that Surekha compares her to Charu.
Later Maira prepares beds for the family. She meets Vani with Abhira. Accidentally Maira’s tent falls because of Vani. Though disappointed Maira hides her frustration Abhira agrees to fix it again. Abhira asks Maira to give Vani her night dress so she feels comfortable and at home.
