Today’s episode begins with Vidya telling Rajji to wear the saree and jewelry she gifted and come to the Ashish’s engagement . Rajji calls Dheeraj and tells him that she was leaving for college but Vidya is insisting that she must attend Ashish’s engagement. She feels confused and says she doesn’t want to go asking him what she should do.
Dheeraj tells her to go saying he has not stopped her from attending the engagement. He adds that Vidya will feel good if she goes and encourages her to stay with them so she remains happy and doesn’t feel his absence. Otherwise Vidya will unnecessarily keep worrying about her.
Dheeraj Gets Scolded at Work
Meanwhile Dheeraj’s supervisor scolds him for talking on the phone during work. He taunts him saying that earlier he acted very hardworking to get the job but now after getting work he is becoming careless. Dheeraj assures him that he will complete the work before time.
Maddy Plans to Attend the Engagement
Maddy is seen looking towards Mahadev’s house. Kiran teases him saying he must be imagining his own wedding after seeing the decorations. Maddy replies that he is thinking why they haven’t received any invitation from Mahadev’s side for the engagement or wedding.
Kiran says that it has been 25 years and they won’t receive any invitation now. But Maddy is confident that an invitation will definitely come from Mahadev’s family. Kiran then asks what he is planning to do.
Lajwanti Hides the Truth About Her Family
At the engagement venue Lajwanti and Raju greet Mahadev and his family. Vidya asks why they have come alone and where their family is. Lajwanti makes an excuse saying they had invited their relatives but after Ashish went to jail their relationships broke. She adds that their relatives are respectable people so they refused to come and even advised her to break the alliance.
However she says she didn’t listen to anyone because she has formed an emotional bond with them and knows that they will stand by her in tough times. She then leaves saying she has to attend a call.
Privately Lajwanti thinks that she will dominate Mahadev’s family as the groom’s side while they will have to serve them and bear all the expenses like the bride’s side.
Suspicion Over Jewellery
Mogra is getting ready with the help of Rajji and Narmada. Narmada praises her look and admires her bangles. Rajji asks where she gets her jewelry made from and whether it is from a special designer.
Mogra says that the jeweller is known to Lajwanti and belongs to her family. Genda shows Ashish’s ring and says it is the most expensive one. Narmada examines it and points out that it doesn’t have a hallmark adding that without a hallmark jewelry is either fake or stolen. Mogra gets shocked.
Rajji adds that nowadays many frauds sell fake jewelry and asks if the jeweler is trustworthy. Mogra says she only knows that he is from Lucknow and Lajwanti knows the details.
Lajwanti arrives and scolds Genda for showing the ring before the engagement calling it inauspicious. When questioned about the missing hallmark Lajwanti manipulates Vidya saying if they have doubts they should investigate first and conduct the engagement later.
Vidya refuses to doubt Lajwanti and says she trusts her completely then takes Mogra away.
Dheeraj Arrives Unknowingly at the Venue
Meanwhile Dheeraj arrives at the same venue to deliver water bottles unaware that it is Ashish’s engagement. ketan fails to notice him.
The engagement begins and everyone starts clicking photos. Lajwanti notices Dheeraj is missing and asks about him. Vidya says he is busy with work and couldn’t attend. Lajwanti taunts them and leaves.
Vidya feels Dheeraj’s presence nearby but doesn’t see him. Lajwanti however spots Dheeraj delivering water bottles and loudly calls out his name drawing everyone’s attention toward him.
Lajwanti Humiliates Dheeraj
Lajwanti questions Dheeraj about what he is doing. He tries to avoid answering but Lajwanti doesn’t let go of the opportunity. She sarcastically asks what forced him to do such work.
She humiliates him in front of everyone saying Mahadev owns a rice mill yet his son is doing labor work. She questions whether this is why he skipped his brother’s engagement. She adds that Mahadev will feel insulted seeing him like this and demands that Dheeraj apologize for lying.
Rajji Defends Dheeraj
Rajji steps in and firmly asks why Dheeraj should apologize. She says there is nothing wrong in working hard to earn a living. She questions whether Lajwanti is implying that labor work is inferior.
Lajwanti clarifies that lying is wrong but Rajji defends Dheeraj saying he lied only to protect everyone’s feelings and to stand on his own feet. She emphasizes that he is earning honestly and not doing anything wrong and instead of shame everyone should feel proud of him.
Lajwanti argues that Mahadev has a reputation in Hardoi and such work will make people laugh at them. Rajji counters by saying that Mahadev built his name through hard work and labor and Dheeraj is simply following the same honest path.
Dheeraj Is Finally Allowed to Attend
Vidya tells Dheeraj that maybe even God wanted him to attend the engagement which is why he got sent there. She asks him to get ready and join.
Dheeraj initially refuses saying Mahadev may not like it and he doesn’t want to create problems. But Ashish insists that the engagement won’t happen without him.
Finally Mahadev agrees and says if the family wants Dheeraj to attend he can join. Everyone becomes happy and Rajji asks Narmada to tell Dheeraj to get ready.
Rajji and Dheeraj’s Romantic Moment
Later Rajji tells Dheeraj not to misunderstand her support saying she would have done the same for anyone. Dheeraj teases her and during a playful moment he gets stuck in his outfit.
Rajji helps him and while teasing they share a light romantic moment before feeling awkward and moving apart.
Maddy Entry At Engagement
Ashish and Mogra exchange rings and the family celebrates. Suddenly Maddy arrives and sarcastically comments on the perfect family. Everyone is shocked to see him.
He reminds Mahadev about their meeting 25 years ago when he had come up with a marriage proposal for Bhanu and got insulted. Mahadev apologizes and Maddy also apologizes saying he realized the consequences of his past actions.
He reveals that he has returned to marry Bhanu and wants to make things right. Mahadev welcomes him warmly and Vidya hopes Bhanu will agree. Maddy confidently says he will convince her.
Celebration Turns Into Shock
Maddy dances and both families join in the celebration. Mahadev silently prays for Dheeraj’s success on the path of honesty and hard work. Suddenly Bhanu arrives and slaps Maddy shocking everyone.
Precap: Mogra emotionally blackmails Ashish asking if he can arrange money for their wedding. When he asks how much she demands ₹10 lakh leaving Mahadev and Ketan shocked as they overhear the conversation.
On the other hand Rajji and Narmada hear a familiar voice while passing by and are shocked to see Raju selling tea.
