Today’s episode begins with Fareed asking Seher to come to Lucknow with him. He wants her to work at the hospital while completing her MD studies.
Fareed Asks Seher to Return to Lucknow
Fareed says he has two reasons for asking her to return. First he wants her to complete her master’s degree and he can also share his experience with her.
Second he says it is because of Amal. He reminds Seher how difficult the last seven years have been. He feels if Seher comes to Lucknow Amal may also come there with her.
Seher says she tried to meet Amal but Amal is very stubborn. She says the last time Fareed came Amal had left school on her own. If Amal had met him this time she does not know how she would have reacted.
Seher Refuses Fareed’s Request
Fareed says he cannot believe that such a small child can hate him so much. He says so much time has passed and everything has changed. He feels this could be the start of a new beginning. Seher remembers Kausar’s painful memories.
She says she has forgotten nothing and can never forget. She says the people of that city killed an innocent Kausar. She says people and hearts may change but she can never forget the wounds Lucknow gave her. She says she never wants to step into that city again.
A nurse comes and informs Fareed that his car is ready and the doctors are waiting for him at the hospital for his training. Seher tells Fareed that there is nothing left for them to say to each other. Fareed leaves.
Mahid Praises Seher’s Quick Action
Meanwhile Mahid tells Zeba that because of Seher he reached the hospital with Qias on time. Zeba says every doctor should know how to give first aid.
Mahid says Qias’s heartbeat had stopped and she was not breathing. He says Seher has become a new doctor but she did not panic. She first gave CPR and then gave an injection. Only after that did Qias’s heartbeat return.
Zeba asks which injection Seher used. Mahid says it was a trial drug that has not yet been released in the market. Zeba is shocked.
Zeba Tells Insha to Complain About Seher
She asks Mahid to collect the discharge papers and tells the nurse to take a fresh blood sample from Qias because new tests need to be done.
Insha asks why they need another blood sample when they were talking about discharge. Zeba says the injection given to Qias has not even been approved for patients yet. They need to make sure it does not have any harmful effects.
Insha says if anything happens to Qias, Seher will be responsible. Zeba says Insha’s anger is justified. She says the doctor who did this deserves punishment. She tells Insha that she will support her if she files a case against Seher.
Seher Secretly Checks Qias’s Report
Meanwhile Seher deliberately spills medicine on Qias’s discharge papers. She tricks the nurse takes Qias’s discharge file and quietly leaves.
Mahid notices her. He asks the nurse for Qias’s discharge papers. The nurse gives him the file but Mahid finds it empty. The nurse asks him to wait. Mahid understands that Seher has taken the file.
Seher reads Qias’s discharge summary. She says if Zeba does not find out about the trial drug she may not question her. Mahid starts searching for Seher. Hearing his footsteps Seher hides.
Seher Hides from Mahid
Mahid says he knows Seher is somewhere nearby and asks her to come out. Seher thinks that Mahid will find her wherever she goes even if she hides underground. She wonders why he is calling her.
Mahid again asks her to come out. Seher asks how he knew she was there. Mahid says she herself announces her presence. Whenever there is some commotion he knows she is nearby.
He asks her to return Qias’s papers. Seher says Qias is her patient too. She only wanted to check what tests and medicines Zeba had written. Mahid says the way she is avoiding eye contact makes him feel that something is wrong. He asks what she is hiding.
Seher and Mahid Argue
Seher says whatever the problem is it has nothing to do with Qias so he does not need to worry. She gives him the papers. Mahid tells her to hand the papers directly to the nurse.
Seher continues reading the report. Mahid says she is hiding something from him. He says if there is any problem he needs to know because not only Seher but also Qias and Insha are involved.
Seher says she understands their concern. She adds that Qias is lucky to have both Mahid and Insha by her side. She then leaves.
Haider Taunts Husna
At Niyazi Manzil Haider asks Husna why she called him and what all the arrangements are for. Husna says she is organising a gathering to celebrate Mahid’s return.
She wants the people coming from the madrasa to appreciate the arrangements. Haider refuses. He says if Husna wants to serve Mahid she can do it herself and should not expect him to do the same.
Husna says every battle needs a weapon. This time Mahid will not fight with anger but will try to win people’s hearts with a smile.
Husna Makes Nazima Her New Pawn
Husna says he should keep the fire of anger alive inside him because when the right time comes everything will change. Haider asks when that time will come. He says the game is already over and they have already lost.
Husna says the game is not over as long as she is alive. She says when Wasim, Nazima and Fatima were with her she used them as pawns. After they left she lost those advantages.
But fate has not abandoned her. Nazima has returned giving her another chance to fight. Haider asks what she is planning.
Husna Plans to Use Seher Against Mahid
Husna says Mahid’s pain has become an open wound. No matter how much he hides it whenever Seher’s name is mentioned he loses control. She says they must expose this weakness to everyone.
Husna reveals that Nazima will become her pawn while Seher will become her weapon against Mahid.
Zeba Lashes Out at Seher
Meanwhile Seher meets Zeba and says she wants to talk about Qias. She says she respects Zeba. If Zeba never gives her a chance to explain how will she update her about the treatment?
Seher says she was taking the medicine to deliver it when she found Qias unconscious on the way. She says Qias’s heartbeat had stopped and she only had that injection with her so she gave it to save Qias’s life.
Zeba says that from today onwards Seher’s case will be remembered as an example for every resident doctor. She says Mahid delayed telling her about what Seher had done so she has brought a reward for Seher.
Zeba Suspends Seher
Zeba hands Seher a suspension letter. Seher is shocked. She reads that she has violated medical protocols. The letter also requests all hospitals not to allow her to practise because she is not only dangerous for patients but also a threat to their lives.
Seher emotionally says becoming a doctor was her childhood dream and asks Zeba not to take that dream away. Zeba says Seher’s dream can become someone else’s nightmare.
She says if Seher truly cared about her job she would never have used an unapproved trial drug on Qias. She points out that Seher did not consult any senior doctor and did not take permission from Qias’s parents.
Seher Defends Herself
Seher says Qias had stopped breathing. She had only two choices either give the injection and save her life or stand there and watch her die.
Zeba says hospitals must follow medical protocols. Seher says saving a person’s life is the biggest protocol of all. Zeba says Seher cannot fight this termination because Qias’s family has already filed an official complaint against her.
She says that complaint alone is enough to cancel her medical licence.Even if Seher somehow escapes the complaint the termination letter will make sure that no respected hospital ever opens its doors to her again. Seher is left shocked.
Seher Calls Mahid
Mahid receives a call from Seher. Seher says she is sending him a location and wants him to meet her there. Mahid refuses. He says he is on his way to the airport.
Seher says he is hiding from the truth. She tells him that after everything he has done he cannot leave without answering her questions.
Mahid says he will not come because the closer he gets to her the more he loses control.
Precap: Seher says she always prayed that their paths would never cross again. But every time they meet life takes something precious away from her. She says until now she was only upset with Mahid but now she truly hates him.
