Legendary Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who continues to inspire millions with his unmatched work ethic at the age of 83, has candidly opened up about the grueling demands of his current shooting schedule. In a deeply personal blog post, the legendary actor reached out to his readers to apologize for missing his regular daily updates, explaining that back-to-back shooting shifts stretching up to 24 hours have completely disrupted his normal routine. Addressing his fans warmly as his extended family, the veteran icon shared that his work hours recently stretched from seven in the morning to seven the following morning, leaving him with virtually no time to rest, write, or even eat properly. He emphasized that professional commitments must always take precedence over personal comfort, personal time, sleep, and food, proving once again why his dedication to the craft remains unmatched across the entertainment industry.
The intense work grind comes as the iconic host returns to the sets of television’s most celebrated quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, which is currently gearing up for its 18th season. Elaborating on the pressure surrounding the shoot, the actor noted that meeting strict broadcasting deadlines left him with no choice but to work non-stop around the clock. In his characteristic lighthearted manner, he even mentioned that failing to deliver the project on time could mean risking a job replacement, highlighting the deep sense of responsibility he carries for every project he takes on regardless of his stature. Despite the physically taxing hours, Bachchan expressed immense relief whenever he found brief moments to reconnect with his fans online, adding that he intends to reorganize his daily schedule during upcoming breaks so he can maintain his longstanding habit of blogging regularly without compromising his work.
This recent revelation offers a rare glimpse into the relentless drive that has defined Amitabh Bachchan’s six-decade-long career. The legendary superstar has frequently mentioned in the past that taking a day off or remaining idle feels unnatural to him, as sticking to a disciplined daily routine keeps his mind sharp and focused. Having delivered major cinematic hits continuously, including his standout role in the blockbuster sci-fi spectacle Kalki 2898 AD, Big B shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. As Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18 prepares to grace television screens once again, fans across the globe continue to marvel at his boundless enthusiasm, while simultaneously hoping the octogenarian icon finds enough time to balance his intense shifts with much-needed rest and self-care.
