The drama surrounding The Traitors Season 2 has spilled out of the show and onto social media, with popular influencers Abhishek Malhan and Munawar Faruqui engaging in a sharp online back-and-forth. The fallout began after Munawar became the first “Innocent” contestant to be voted out during the tense round-table elimination known as the Circle of Shaq. During the episode, Abhishek Malhan and Harman Singha led the charge against Munawar, suspecting him of playing like a Traitor and convincing their fellow housemates to cast their votes against him. Following his eviction, an emotional Munawar vented his frustration, calling out the remaining contestants for being insecure and targeting him out of fear. Even after leaving the show, Munawar took a subtle jab at Abhishek on his Instagram Stories, suggesting that if someone wanted to win by relying on group tactics, they should join a team-based show instead, while also pointing out that people were still talking about him even after his departure.
Abhishek Malhan, widely known as Fukra Insaan, did not let the comment slide and took a direct dig back at the stand-up comedian on social media. Sharing a picture of himself dressed in his official costume from The Traitors, Abhishek first posted the caption asking, “Kaun ro raha h bhai?” (Who is crying, brother?). He quickly followed up with another story stating, “Bolne do takleef hua hai bechare ko” (Let him speak, the poor guy is hurt), mocking Munawar’s bitter reaction to being eliminated early in the game. Inside the show, tension between the two popular reality stars had already been brewing, with Abhishek even claiming during the game that if there were ever a direct competition between him and Munawar, he would always emerge victorious. While viewers were stunned by Munawar’s unexpected exit—especially since the actual Traitors pulled the strings in secret—the fiery exchange between Abhishek and Munawar has created major buzz online, turning their reality show rivalry into one of the most talked-about feuds of the season.
