Today’s episode begins with Jaya dressing up like Lord Krishna. All the family members wish her and she blesses everyone. Anupama asks who will bless her. She touches Jaya’s feet.
Digvijay comes there and excitedly talks about the food. Ishani says she will eat all the cakes. Ishani then says she will share them with Jaya. Digvijay says Jaya is clever. She knows that Anupama loves her so she will get such a big assorted box for herself even before everyone else.
Jaya says it was not necessary for him to reveal her secret. Anupama says she will make enough food so nobody feels that there is less food.
Anupama Remembers Anuj
Anupama’s dress gets stuck and she remembers Anuj. She wishes Anuj a happy birthday. She says she does not even realize how another year of with him has passed.
She asks Anuj to come back and she hopes he will come meet her in the coming year. Kinjal asks Anupama how she manages Jaya alone. Anupama says Jaya will not stop today because she has dress up as Lord Krishna.
Kinjal says today everyone is happy because of her request. Anupama says everyone is not happy they are trying to be happy. She says that Leela and Hasmukh’s relationship is the foundation of this house. If the foundation shakes everything will shake.
Anupama Vows to Teach Gautam a Lesson
Anupama says everyone’s heart is trembling but everyone is trying to smile. She says even if they fake a smile there is a possibility that one day it can become their real happiness. She says staying strong during difficult times is important.
Kinjal tells Anupama she can do anything but she should not pretend to forgive Toshu. She says she did not send Toshu to jail but she has not forgiven him or Gautam either. Anupama says she will destroy Gautam and will not spare him.
She says her whole life depends on taste and Gautam tried to snatch it from her. She says that she does not want to go to Rahi’s in-laws house and create a scene so she is staying quiet. But she says when she gets a chance she will teach Gautam such a lesson that everything will settle down.
Mahi Decides to Leave
Leela asks Anupama about Ansh and Prerna. Anupama says that she does not know. Hasmukh says that they had some work so they left in the morning.
Leela says there is so much work at home yet they have gone out. Mahi comes there with her bag. She says she has enrolled in a jewellery designing course so she is leaving for Delhi for a few months. Anupama says Mahi did not tell anyone about it.
She asks Mahi to stay for the puja. Leela says this house does not feel like a home anymore. She ordered Mahi and says she is not going anywhere. She says Anupama has taken responsibility for Mahi and if anything happens to her Anupama will be responsible.
Anupama Blesses Mahi
Mahi says she should not worry about her. She says that nobody will ask her anything or come after her. Anupama says today is an auspicious day so Mahi should not think anything bad.
She says everyone cares for her and loves her. Mahi says she is already getting late and has to leave. Anupama tells her to stay safe and happy. She says Mahi is leaving before the puja so she cannot give her anything.
She asks Jaya to bless Mahi. Jaya blesses Mahi. Anupama says she hopes Mahi stays happy and becomes successful. Kinjal tells Mahi to take care of herself. She says if she ever needs anything Anupama and she will always help her. Mahi leaves.
Leela Blames Anupama
Leela says Mahi has become exactly like her own mother. She says the moment money came she left. Leela says everyone’s mood is already bad but because it is a festival everyone is trying to stay happy.
She says she does not know what else she will have to see in this house. Digvijay says Leela she did not like the way Leela spoke about Mahi.
Digvijay tells Leela she did not like the way Mahi spoke. He says Mahi had picked a fight on a festival day and now Leela is doing the same thing.
Rahi Misses Anuj
Meanwhile Rahi prepares for Janmashtami.
She remembers Anuj and gets emotional.
She says she misses Anuj. She prays to God and says since it is Anuj’s birthday she hopes God keeps him happy.
Vasundhara comes there. She tells Rahi she has got the papers prepared but she should not think her work is completely finished. She says that today during the puja she wants Rahi to make Prem sign the papers.
Vasundhara Pressures Rahi
Vasundhara asks why Rahi is making such a face as if she has taken something away from her. She says she never forced Rahi to do anything.
Rahi says she did not do anything under pressure but she did what she wanted.
Still she says that she is not happy. She says Vasundhara could have told her once lovingly she was proud of her and that she was with her.
Both of them could have supported Prem together. She says she knows today is a day of happiness for her but she is equally sad because it is Anuj’s birthday.
Ansh and Prerna Shock the Family
Later Jaya asks why everyone has become so sad. Leela apologizes. Jaya says she wants to see a smile on everyone’s face. Prerna and Ansh return.
Prerna says Ansh has got a contract from a very big gaming company. The family congratulates them. Prerna says they have brought not one but two boxes of sweets. She says the second box is for another piece of good news.
Prerna says with the money Anupama gave them they have booked a flat. The whole family is shocked. She says the house is small but it is perfect for them. Ishani says they have brought goodbye along with the good-news box.
Leela Accuses Anupama
Prerna says the house is only a short distance away from here. She asks everyone not to say such things and spoil their happiness. Anupama congratulates her.
She says in the middle of so many responsibilities they should make time for each other. She tells them to give each other time and enjoy every happiness because time will not come back.
She blesses them and says that she is happy for them. Leela blames Anupama and says that because of her Mahi has left and now these two will also leave.
Hasmukh Gives Leela a Reality Check
Hasmukh tells Leela she should be happy because now she can live alone with pride in her home. He remains she wanted everything in her own name. Pakhi says Toshu it is good everyone who wants to leave is leaving.
Toshu says he and Pakhi will not go anywhere. He says only after everyone leaves will he take control of the Shah house. Leela says after the children leave it does not take long for a house to become a ruin. Ansh says that he is not going anywhere.
Leela tells him not to lie. She says once the flat is ready he will leave with Prerna. Hasmukh tells Leela she is taunting them. He says after children leave the heart feels hurt and loneliness takes over. He says speaking bitter words will not change the situation.
Anupama Requests Leela
Anupama tells Leela if she sees only their shortcomings while staying close to them then she should stay a little away and notice their good qualities.She asks Leela to give the children one chance.
Digvijay says today is a good day and the children have started a new journey. He says they should open their hearts and be happy for them. Leela agrees. Prerna says Anupama will bring the next box of sweets for the happiness of her new home.
Anupama says she has paid the down payment and today she has spoken to a loan agent. She says they will get the loan from a private bank.
Rahi Gives Anuj’s Cafe to Prem
Later Rahi tells Prem today is an auspicious day so they should finish this important work. She asks Prem to sign the cafe papers. Prem says the cafe belongs to Anuj and today is his birthday.
Rahi says this is why she is giving the cafe to him. She says Prem loved Anuj so much so she knows Prem will take care of everything that belonged to Anuj just as carefully.
She asks Prem to consider it a birthday gift from Anuj. Prem says his biggest gift is Rahi herself. He says the cafe was her and it will always remain her. He signs the papers. Rahi says that now they should start the puja.
The Janmashtami Celebrations Begin
Anupama gets ready and comes there. She looks in the mirror to fix her earring and sees Anuj’s face in the mirror.
Later Anupama and Rahi perform the Janmashtami puja for Lord Krishna. They perform the aarti and swing the idol. They break the matki and play dandiya. Jaya cuts the cake made by Anupama. She feeds everyone.
Anupama Celebrates Anuj’s Birthday
Anupama says now they should start the second celebration. Hasmukh wishes Anuj a happy birthday. Anupama brings Anuj’s photo and his favourite cake.
Pakhi asks Toshu why Anupama celebrates the birthday of the love of her life with so much excitement even more than her own birthday. Toshu says he is also getting irritated by it.but he is tempted to eat the cake too.
Rahi comes there with Prem. She says the cake cannot be cut without him. They share a hug. Rahi and Anupama wish Anuj a happy birthday together.
Precap: Anupama celebrates Janmashtami and remembers Anuj. Toshu shows Anupama News. The news report says that the builder had collected down payments from people in the name of developing a community project and then disappeared with their money. Anupama is shocked to hear this. She is shaken when she realizes that she may have also been cheated.
