Today’s episode begins with the Shah family preparing for Janmashtami. Jaya pronounces kandil as candle. Anupama tells her that it is not a candle it is called a kandil. She says they will decorate the whole house with kandils.
Jaya asks what kind of cake Lord Krishna eats. Hasmukh says cake is not made for Lord Krishna’s birthday.
Shah Family Prepares for Janmashtami
Ishani says that during their time, they did not cut cakes for birthdays instead, butter mixed with sugar crystals was offered to Lord Krishna.
Jaya says that birthday cards were not a tradition during their time either but she made one so why can’t they make a cake for him as well? Anupama praises Jaya for asking this question.
Jaya request to make the cake. Anupama agrees and she will make a rasmalai cake. Anupama notices that Leela is upset.
Digvijay Warns Toshu
Toshu and Pakhi come there. Digvijay warns Toshu to think before saying anything. He says he wants to still talk to him alone in the room. Toshu says he will talk to Anupama from here in front of everyone.
He thanks Anupama for not taking him to the police station. He says he did not want to play with Anupama’s health .
Anupama says what he thought she would not be able to go to the Grand Finale and was happy about it. Because of this she could lose her dream and everyone’s hope.
Anupama Slams Toshu
Anupama says before she loses her control she asks Toshu to stay quiet and says she wants to focus on the puja. She asks him to try not to draw her attention towards him. Anupama notices that everyone is upset.
Anupama apologizes to everyone. Hasmukh says Anupama was smiling with great difficulty but Toshu touched her weak point. Kinjal says Anupama should say whatever she wants to say.
Hasmukh says before a festival people should let everything out of their hearts. Anupama says Janmashtami is very special for her. She says tomorrow will be even more special because she is coming for Anuj’s birthday.
Anupama’s Emotional Appeal
Anupama requests everyone to let her enjoy the day properly. She says on this day everyone should try not to hurt anyone’s feelings say anything bad or do anything wrong.
Rahi’s Decision Shocks Prem
At the Kothari house Anil gives Rahi an envelope that someone had left for her. Anil asks why the lawyer’s office has sent papers so late at night. Prem asks why these papers have come from the lawyer’s office.
Prem asks Anil to read them. Anil is shocked when he reads that the Anuj Cafe is being transferred to Prem’s name. Prem is stunned. Meeta asks why she is transferring the cafe. She says it feels good to have something in their own name.
Vasundhara says just because something is good for one person does not mean it is good for everyone. Prem asks Rahi why Rahi says they are not separate from each other. Prem asks why there is a division between them.
Leela Demands the Shah House
A delivery man comes there. Toshu secretly signs for the envelope and gives it to Leela. Leela says she does not want to ruin anyone’s birthday. She says that is why she wants to speak clearly before and after everything.
Hasmukh asks her to say whatever she wants. Leela says these are the new papers for the house. She asks Hasmukh to sign them and give the entire house in her name. The whole family is shocked. Hasmukh says she is threatening him.
Leela says she has not said anything wrong. She asks him to sign the papers. Hasmukh says he has no greed and does not want anything in his own name. He says the house is already in her name.
Leela says in front of his wife he is protecting his daughter and today he is ready to mortgage the house and later sell everything to give it to Anupama. She says that at this age she needs security and he is not listening to her. Pakhi and Toshu support Leela.
Hasmukh says he knows that Leela is doing this because of Toshu and Pakhi’s influence. Leela says a lot of time has passed since their marriage and Hasmukh has forgotten his wedding vows. She says she is reminding him he will support her when the right time comes.
She says she will stay with him.Leela says she cannot live in this fear anymore and wants the house in her name.
Hasmukh Refuses Leela’s Demand
Hasmukh says she is taking away a chance from him to do something for their children. Leela says she is not doing it for the children but for Anupama.
Hasmukh says if she is afraid that he will give the house to Anupama he is also afraid that she may give it to Toshu or Pakhi. He says if she does not trust him or Anupama then he also doesn’t trust her decisions and Toshu and Pakhi.
Prem Questions Rahi
Prem asks Rahi to answer. Vasundhara says why prem is asking the question a wife also feels like giving something to her husband. She says Rahi must have thought carefully before preparing the papers.
She says if Rahi is giving the cafe to Prem happily then he should accept it. She says Rahi has been working a lot since Khyati left. Along with the cafe she has to handle the house and other responsibilities.
Meeta says she is also busy and asks who will prepare special food for Pari and handle the other household work. Pari says they can manage it together. She says she is not on bed rest so she can help.
Meeta says there is no need for her to work and she also has a lot of work at the boutique. Pari says Rahi also has more work at the cafe. She says Rahi helps Prem and Anupama too and never gives excuses.
Prem Demands an Answer From Rahi
Prem asks Rahi if she has anything to say. He says everyone has given their opinion and now he only wants to hear Rahi. Rahi says she is tired these days. She says Pari needs rest and Vasundhara needs her.
She says she is tired and wants to handle the housework while Prem handles the cafe. Prem says the cafe can run without putting it in his name. Vasundhara says if he is going to do all the work then his name should be on it too.
Rahi’s Silence Doubts Prem
Prem says his surname, relationship, family belongs to him but Rahi is handling all the work alone. He asks why Rahi cannot have her name on the cafe and he is at work there.
Rahi says signing the papers will help her solve the legal and official matters of the cafe. Vasundhara asks what her problem is. Prem leaves angrily.
Anupama Stops the Family Feud
Anupama asks Hasmukh why he is speaking so harshly to Leela. She says if Leela wants it she is ready to write on stamp paper she does not want any right over Hasmukh’s or Leela’s property.
She says she does not want them to fight anymore. Leela says she wants the house in her own name. She says Hasmukh will not take away her right.
Hasmukh says Leela also has a right but he calls her demand selfish. Leela says when Anupama was teaching women not to be selfish Hasmukh supported her. But now when she is saying the same thing he is stepping back.
Anupama Supports Leela’s Fear
Leela says he insulted her for Anupama and broke her trust. She says he mortgaged her peace and security without telling her and did not even apologize.Hasmukh apologizes to her.
Leela says she only wants the house in her name. Anupama says she cannot see them fighting. She says Hasmukh Leela’s complaint is right and her fear is also right.
She says that if Hasmukh transfers the house to Leela’s name Leela will also have to give it in writing that once the house is transferred to her, it will remain solely in her name. She will not be allowed to give it to anyone else or sell it, especially to Toshu or Pakhi.
Rahi Gets Emotional
Rahi is lost in thought. She thinks even after Anupama explained everything to her she still could not talk to Prem. She thinks that Prem has become suspicious and wonders whether he will sign the papers or not.
Prem comes there. He says he knows she cannot tell the truth in front of everyone but now she can tell him the idea of putting Anuj Cafe in her name was someone else’s idea. He asks if someone told her to do this.
Rahi says she is tired. Prem says if they run the cafe and handle the housework together everything will become easier. He says she can sit at the cafe and manage it. Rahi gets emotional.
Rahi Remembers Anuj
Rahi says every girl dreams of getting a husband like her father and her dream has come true. Prem feels happy. He asks if she compared him with Anuj. He says Anuj is a legend.
She says she misses him. Prem says when she remembers Anuj she should remember him with a smile. Rahi says without Anuj Anupama is only half of herself. Prem asks her to tell him about Anuj.
He asks what Anuj was like so that he can also learn something from him. Rahi tells him about Anuj. Rahi gets emotional and says she cannot stop her tears. Anupama says she and Anupama misses Anuj a lot.
Prem Comforts Rahi
Rahi says if Anuj were there their life would have been very different. Prem says they will celebrate Anuj’s birthday together with Anupama.
Meanwhile Jaya tells Anupama she is playing Lord Krishna for the first time and asks her to train her. Anupama says Lord Krishna is God and she can never become like him. She says Krishna asks her prays she can become a good person like him.
Jaya asks what she needs to do to look like Krishna. Anupama says she needs to have fun, steal butter and eat it and tease the Gopis of the house. She says Jaya will also get gifts for doing this. She asks Jaya to go to Kinjal and get the dress altered.
Anupama Misses Anuj
Anupama opens a box to take out the crown. When she opens the box she sees Anuj’s crown and remembers him.
She says Chhike Uncle had made this crown for Anuj. Even after growing up Anuj used to wear it to respect his wishes. She says nobody can be like Anuj.
She says tomorrow he should come on time because it is the birthday of both her favourite people.
Precap: Anupama celebrates Janmashtami and remembers Anuj. Toshu shows Anupama the news. The news report says that the builder collected down payments from people in the name of developing a community project and then disappeared with their money.
