The “shaadi” season is getting a cinematic upgrade this summer. Zee Studios and Soundrya Production have officially announced the release date for the highly anticipated sequel, Ginny Wedss Sunny 2. While the original 2020 film, Ginny Weds Sunny, was a direct-to-OTT release on Netflix starring Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey, the sequel is making a grand leap to the big screen. This installment serves as a spiritual successor, introducing a brand-new narrative and a different set of characters.
According to the official press note, the story revolves around the collision of two contrasting worlds The Hero: A tough, rugged wrestler (Tiwary). The Heroine: A free-spirited, modern girl (Shankr).
