Today’s episode begins with Saloni’s mother angrily asking the principal what is happening in the school. She demands strict action against Jaya for hitting her daughter.
The principal explains that Devika had made Jaya’s guidance Anupama’s responsibility which is why the school contacted her. Anupama calmly asks what exactly happened. Saloni’s mother says her daughter came home crying. Her hair was messy and she had scratches on her body. She accuses Jaya of attacking her badly.
Jaya Reveals the Truth
Jaya immediately says that her nails are not even long enough to scratch someone like that. She explains that Saloni complained about her but did not tell the full story Saloni started the fight first. She kept teasing Jaya and laughing at her saying that she does not have a father and that no one loves her.
Saloni also said that Devika left her and ran away, calling Jaya an orphan and even claimed that Anupama would leave her too. She told Jaya that no one would ever love her. Jaya becomes emotional and says she did not hit Saloni first. She only asked her to stop teasing her. However Saloni continued which made her angry. Jaya admits that because of that anger, she became a bad girl and hit Saloni.
Anupama Teaches Jaya the Importance of Apologizing
Anupama gently tells Jaya that she is not a bad child. She says Jaya is a good girl because she realized her mistake. She asks Jaya to apologize to Saloni. Jaya immediately apologizes.
Anupama then says that since Jaya raised her hand saying sorry is the right thing to do. However Saloni’s mother argues that an apology is useless because Jaya might hit her daughter again in the future.
Anupama Stands Up for Jaya
Anupama calmly responds that Jaya has already apologized. Now Saloni should also apologize because words can hurt a child deeply. Saloni’s mother questions Anupama
Anupama explains that while Jaya raised her hand Saloni’s words were extremely painful. Such words can shake even an adult so they can deeply hurt a child. She firmly says Saloni should also apologize so that such a mistake never happens again.
Saloni’s mother sarcastically reminds Anupama that she is only Jaya’s guidance not her mother. Anupama replies emotionally that she may not be Jaya’s real mother but she is Anu Maa. She says she knows the pain of a child whose mother’s heart is broken and she will never ignore Jaya’s pain.
Principal Supports Anupama
Saloni’s mother complains that Anupama is giving her a lecture. The principal defends Anupama and says she has not been disrespectful. She then asks Saloni to apologize to Jaya.
Saloni apologizes and the two girls finally make peace and become friends again. The principal praises Anupama for handling the situation with maturity. She also tells Saloni’s mother that while teachers and schools have responsibilities, the words Saloni used were not learned in school. She advises her to pay attention to her own responsibilities as a parent.
Anupama Reflects on Her Past
The principal points out that even after everything that happened with Jaya Anupama never blamed Saloni. Anupama humbly says that she is not highly educated but she once wanted to become a teacher. She even tried hard for it but was not successful.
The principal encourages her and says she is already doing a wonderful job. She also praises Anupama and Devika’s friendship saying it is a perfect example of trust. She explains that Devika trusted Anupama enough to give her the responsibility of Jaya and Anupama never broke that trust. She says both of them should feel proud of their friendship.
Prerna Compliments Rahi
Meanwhile Prerna praises Rahi for her beautiful dress. Rahi smile she thanks her but adds that there was no need for such a gift.
Prerna jokingly tells Rahi that she should learn to accept gifts. At that moment Vasundhara sees Prerna, Rahi, and Prem together and becomes shocked. She thinks that trouble never stays away from her house. Prem tries to cheer Vasundhara up. He playfully flirts with her and suggests they go on an ice-cream date, promising that no one will interfere between them. Rahi supports Prem and says no one will come between them. Eventually Vasundhara agrees to go with him.
Prem then tells Vasundhara that she can continue fighting with him and scolding him but she should not stay angry for too long because he does not like it. Prerna tells Rahi that Prem loves both his family and Rahi equally. Rahi happily says that is why she considers herself very lucky.
Family Reunion Plan
Prerna invites Rahi for a coffee date. Rahi says it might not be possible today because they are going to the Shah house. She explains that Prarthna’s accident made everyone realize how uncertain life is. Because of that realization all the cousins have decided that no matter how many misunderstandings they have they will meet every fifteen days.
Rahi and Prem are going today, and she believes Mahi might join them as well.
Leela and Hasmukh’s Sweet Moment
At the Shah house Hasmukh asks Leela to eat slowly.Leela says she can digest the food just fine. A flower vendor sees them and jokingly asks Hasmukh if he has brought Leela on a date. She suggests he buy a flowers for her. Leela refuses at first but Hasmukh still buys the gajra and lovingly places it in her hair.
Leela shyly says that at this age he is placing flowers in her hair in front of everyone. Hasmukh insists and says there is nothing wrong with it. Leela then says she feels that now they have become more like friends than just husband and wife. Hasmukh smiles and says that Anupama once told him that friendship makes relationships even sweeter.
Hasmukh Leela Financial Worries
Hasmukh reminds Leela that today is the family get-together which Anupama planned so that everyone meets every fifteen days. Leela says the idea actually came from Rahi after Prarthna’s accident.
However Leela becomes worried about their financial situation. She wonders how they will repay Jassi’s money if they continue spending. Hasmukh reassures her that they will manage and promises to work harder so the family does not face difficulties.
Anupama Shares a Story with Jaya
Meanwhile Anupama is fixing the chain of her bicycle. She tells Jaya a childhood story about her friendship with Devika.
She recalls that when they were in school someone once pulled Devika’s ribbon. Anupama thought Devika had done something wrong and Devika received punishment. After the punishment ended Devika came to fight with Anupama. During their argument they discovered that the class monitor was actually responsible. So they teamed up to confront the monitor and that moment turned them into best friends.
Jaya listens with amazement and promises Anupama that she will never fight with Saloni again.
Paul Threatens Anupama
Suddenly Paul arrives and asks Jaya if she wants food mocking that Anupama cannot afford it. Jaya gets angry and says Paul is a bad man and she does not want anything from him.
Paul complains that children nowadays are taught to disrespect elders. He sarcastically asks if Jaya talks the same way with the rich people in Saavi Villa. Jaya defends them and says the people there are actually kind.Paul scolds Jaya and tells Anupama that this is his area warning her to quietly leave. However the women nearby question Paul for constantly troubling Anupama. Paul replies that they should stay out of it and claims Anupama went to her family’s house during the holidays. He sarcastically asks why she would cook here if she could cook in a hotel.
The women support Anupama and tell Paul to leave her alone. Anupama thanks them and explains she is not trying to steal anyone’s work. She is only trying to run her household. The women warn her to stay careful around Paul.
Back at the Shah house Prem prepares food for everyone. Rahi asks him to sit and spend time with the family but Prem refuses. He says he carefully planned the entire menu and will not come out until everything is ready.
Rahi lovingly kisses him and says she never imagined she would find such a wonderful life partner. Prem replies that he is the lucky one.
Jassi’s Feelings for Ansh
Jassi tells Ansh that she will prepare lassi for him and the family. She says that since Prem is cooking for everyone she should at least do something too. Ansh thanks her for the support.
Jassi says that when she was in Mumbai she missed her family terribly. But after meeting Anupama she realized that family can be created anywhere. She says Anupama taught her that relationships are built through love and care. Jassi secretly feels happy whenever she sees Ansh smiling.
Digvijay Refuses to Help Anupama
Later a vendor offers Anupama lemon water because of the heat. At first Anupama refuses to take it for free but the vendor insists.
Jaya asks him to give just one glass so she can share it with Anupama. While Anupama repairs her bicycle Jaya sees a doctor’s car and tries to stop it. The Bose is inside the car and asks the driver to stop but Digvijay refuses.
Bose questions Digvijay about why he is so stubborn. Digvijay angrily says that when he once needed help nobody supported him. Because of that experience he stopped expecting anything from the world. The doctor reminds him that one day he might regret this attitude.
Digvijay remembers the past when he had bought a car and used to go on long drives with Saavi. The doctor invites him to a party but Digvijay refuses. The doctor still insists that he will come to pick him up. After watching this Jaya says Digvijay is a bad man because he did not stop the car. Anupama gently tells Jaya not to speak badly about the elders.
Precap: Jaya dresses as a fairy for a fancy-dress competition. Digvijay becomes emotional remembering Saavi and hugs Jaya. Meanwhile Anupama faces another shock when she is suddenly thrown out of her work. The woman tells her that many complaints have been made against her so her services are no longer needed.
Paul appears nearby and Anupama realizes that he is likely the person behind these complaints. She is left completely shocked.
