Today’s episode begins with Pari noticing that Anupama is cooking but she gets slightly burned while working. Banku comes to check on her and upon seeing her injured hand he gets shocked. He asks if she was given the task of chopping cashews and Anupama replies that even that small work was taken away from her.
Banku encourages her saying she is trying so hard but things are not working out. Anupama responds that things may not be going well right now but someday they will. She adds that she will keep trying but will not ask for help at home.
Mystery Around the Closed Cafe and Saavi’s Death
Anupama notices a box and asks about it. Banku tells her that Digvijay asked to shift some café items into the room. She asks when the café closed and Banku says he doesn’t know exactly but it has been shut for a long time. He adds that when Saavi was alive the café used to run very well.
Anupama asks Saavi’s age at the time of her death and Banku reveals she was only sixteen years old. Anupama is shocked and says that so many of her dreams must have remained incomplete. She also says that the cafe was Saavi’s dream and if she were alive today the cafe would still be running and maybe Anupama herself would have gotten a job there.
Banku gets confused by her statement.and Anupama brushes it off.
Anupama Takes Care of Sick Banku
Anupama realizes that Banku has a fever and scolds him for not taking care of himself. She tells him to rest and assures him that she will handle all the work and even cook food.
She also says she will argue with Digvijay if needed to get him leave. Banku agrees and Anupama says he is a good boy and she won’t let him get scolded.
Anupama Apologizes to Digvijay
When Digvijay calls Banku Anupama comes forward and apologizes for her earlier behavior. She informs him that Banku has a fever so she is cooking.
Digvijay says there is no need and that he will order food from outside. However Bose insists that he can order for himself but he will eat the food cooked by Anupama.
Digvijay gets annoyed and says she has been brought there for work not for dinner. He refuses to eat her food.
Rahi Gets Support From the Family
Meanwhile Rahi is being supported by Prem who defends her and says that even though she didn’t take anything from the house she invested her first salary into the business. Despite that she could only bring ₹5 lakh so her cheque holds more value.
Prerna also supports Rahi saying promotions are based on capability not just experience. She believes Rahi’s next cheque will be double. Khyati hugs Rahi and asks her to send a photo of her cheque to Anupama as she will be very happy.
Gautam Opposes Mahi Decision
Mahi shares that she is starting work from the next day. Everyone congratulates her and Anil even gives her the appointment letter. However Gautam suddenly declares that Mahi will not work. Mahi is shocked and firmly says that the decision of what she will do lies only with her. Vasundara adds that a woman’s dignity lies within the house and if she crosses that boundary the household will be shaken.
Bose Suggests Reopening Saavi’s Cafe
Digvijay informs Bose that his son has sent a legal notice. Bose is shocked. Digvijay explains that his son wants his share and had earlier left for London using Saavi’s money after her death. Now he is demanding his share again.
The notice demands that within a month either the bungalow should be sold and his share given or the equivalent money should be paid. Digvijay refuses saying the house is Saavi’s memory and he will never sell it as long as he is alive. Bose points out that their savings won’t last forever and suggests that Digvijay should start working again. He proposes reopening Saavi’s cafe saying it was once full of life and connected to many people’s memories. He believes that reopening it could solve their financial problems.
Digvijay says the cafe’s charm was because of Saavi but Bose insists that her memories and talent will bring people back again.
Mahi Stands Strong Against Gautam
Gautam tries to stop Mahi again saying she cannot take such a big decision alone.
Mahi responds that he doesn’t even have time to discuss things with her anymore and realizes she has wasted too much time already. She wants to focus on her career and contribute to her family.
Vasundara warns her that promises are not enough she must prove herself and ensure the family name is not harmed.
Anupama’s Food triggers Digvijay’s Emotion
Anupama serves food to Bose and Digvijay but he refuses to eat it and starts eating ordered food instead. However he doesn’t like it. Bose praises Anupama’s cooking and forces Digvijay to taste it. As soon as he eats it he is reminded of Saavi as she used to cook the same dish. He becomes emotional.
Digvijay Explodes at Anupama
Anupama suggests reopening the cafe but Digvijay gets furious. He lashes out asking who she is to interfere in his personal matters.
He reminds her that she is just a guest for one month and should stay away from his house and cafe He even warns her not to mention the cafe again. Anupama apologizes and Digvijay leaves in anger.
Anupama Breaks Down Shares Her Reality
Anupama tells Bose that she didn’t mean to hurt Digvijay. She explains that she has been desperately searching for work and is worried about managing her expenses.
She thought that if the cafe reopens she might get a job there. Bose consoles her and goes to handle Digvijay.
Leela and Hasmukh Tensions Over Family
At the Shah house Leela tells Hasmukh that she is worried about the growing tension. Earlier Vasundara used to taunt women who didn’t work and now she taunts those who do. Hasmukh agrees and says money can create differences in relationships.
Toshu tells Pari not to do household work since she earns well but Leela scolds him for teaching wrong values. Hasmukh counters Toshu by saying that if earning more means authority then he earns more and should rule the house forcing Toshu to back off.
Leela worries that Rahi might face the same struggles Anupama faced in her life.
Navratri Celebrations Begin
Anupama tells Jaya that she is ready because Navratri has begun and she will perform puja. She explains the importance of Navratri and Gudi Padwa.
At the Shah house Leela performs the puja. Jassi arrives with decorations.but Leela refuses saying she prefers traditional arrangements and will teach everything to Ansh’s future wife. This hurts Jassi emotionally.
Aarti Brings Back Saavi’s Memories
Anupama performs aarti with Banku and Jaya. Hearing the aarti Digvijay recalls Saavi’s memories and feels dizzy and disturbed.
After the aarti Anupama comes out and sees Digvijay in this condition and gets shocked.
Precap: Anupama celebrates Gudi Padwa with Jaya and Banku dancing joyfully. Meanwhile Digvijay desperately searches for Saavi’s diary which Jaya unknowingly takes to from room.
Anupama later reads the diary and scolds Jaya for touching Digvijay’s belongings.
