Today’s episode begins with Ansh asking Anupama what happened to her hand. Anupama says Ishani cannot keep anything secret. Ansh gets worried after seeing the injury on her hand.
Anupama tells Ansh Leela’s words have hurt him and Prerna then he should heal that pain first. She says she has already tried explaining things to Leela and Pakhi but they are not ready to understand.
She knows they may never change but they are still family and she cannot separate from them.
Ansh Questions Leela’s Behavior
Ansh says even he and Prerna does not want to separate from the family. He says Leela keeps saying This is her house and her rules which is not fair.
Ansh says that in the past the relationship between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law was more formal, but now times have changed. He says Anupama has never treated anyone differently and has always loved everyone equally.
He asks why Leela and Pakhi have suddenly made different rules for Prerna. He says Leela’s age, habits and attitude cannot justify her bad behaviour.
Ansh Supports Anupama
Anupama tells Ansh he and Prerna are right and that she is standing with them. She says him tomorrow is the second round of the competition and asks him to handle everything at home because she wants to focus on the competition.
Ansh apologises and says he came to ask about her health but ended up talking only about his own problems. He asks her to forget everything else and focus on the competition.
He also says Prerna did not really mean what she said in anger about sharing the prize money. Anupama says a mother can never forget her children’s words.
Anupama Reassures Ansh
She says has thought from the beginning if she won the competition prize money would belong to the whole family.
She says she realized a little late how important it is to have own house but now Prerna has understood it too and that’s what truly matters.
Ansh thanks her for understanding. Anupama says if a little distance can make a family happy then it is worth it. Ansh asks her to take some rest.
Anupama Encourages Herself
After he leaves Anupama feels severe pain in her hand.
She encourages herself and says the pain will get better. It will not defeat her. She will fight and she will win.
The Family Support Anupama
The next morning Leela gives Anupama herbal kadha. The whole family takes care of Anupama. Prerna comes and apologises to Leela for what happened the previous day.
Kinjal says leela when younger people become stubborn elders also lose their temper..Leela Forgiveness to Prerna and Ansh. Kinjal says Ansh is mature, sensitive and sensible.
She says Ansh is lucky but Prerna is even luckier to have him. Prerna says she is learning from her mistakes. Hasmukh blesses Prerna.
Anupama’s Condition Worsens
Pakhi tells Toshu that no one in the family is even talking about the competition. She says Anupama’s right hand had to get injured at the worst time.
Pakhi asks how Anupama will work with that hand. She says if Anupama loses they will repay the prize money from their own pocket.
Anupama While picking up the glass almost drops it because of her injured hand. Digvijay quickly catches the glass. Mahi says if Anupama cannot even lift a glass properly how will she compete?
Family Worries About Anupama
Digvijay notices that the swelling has still not reduced. Anupama says she has tried everything but the swelling is still there. That does not mean she will sit at home doing nothing.
She says she will not let this opportunity slip away. If she has pain she will tolerate it and work with her other hand. She says if she cannot work with one hand she will double her courage instead.
She says she will never give up. She drinks the kadha and says she will face whatever comes next.
The Second Round of the Competition Begins
Later everyone reaches the competition venue. The host welcomes all the contestants to the second round. Toshu and Pakhi pray that Anupama wins prize money.
Anil says it looks like Anupama’s injury is serious. The host announces only three teams are left in the competition. He says the journey has been long. After today’s task one more team will be eliminated and the remaining teams will move to the final round.
The host also announces that Prem’s cafe received the highest points in the first round. He then officially begins the second round.
Toshu’s New Plan
Toshu starts making calculations about the prize money and discusses them with Pakhi. He says if Anupama’s share becomes less they will earn more.
Toshu says Anupama will not be able to do much with one hand so Kinjal and Ishani will have to do most of the work.
Manpreet Questions Anupama’s Injury
Manpreet notices the bandage on Anupama’s hand. She asks what happened. Shruti says it is good that Anupama’s right hand is injured because now Prem will easily win this round.
Prem says that even if Anupama had not been injured he still wanted to defeat her fairly in the last round. Anupama says she is fine and only has a minor sprain.
Roy says this is the second round so the task will be even more difficult than before. He asks if she is really okay.
Sikandar says they do not even know what today’s task is. Her pain could increase. He asks if she will be able to complete it.
Manpreet Targets Anupama
Anupama confidently says she is ready. Manpreet says she once injured her leg but still took part in a race and ended up falling flat on her face.
She asks why Anupama is behaving so carelessly at this age. Anupama says this competition is her responsibility and she has to complete it. Anupama says such injuries are common for housewives because they are used to working even with one hand.
She says she will manage.She says just because she got injured today it does not mean she will stop.
Manpreet Calls Anupama’s Injury Fake
Manpreet sarcastically says she is not even sure Anupama is really injured. Leela gets upset and asks why Manpreet is speaking like that.
Banke says Anupama’s injury is real and if Manpreet has doubts she can check herself. Hasmukh says he has noticed since the first round that Manpreet has a personal grudge against Anupama.
Manpreet says the bandage may only be there to gain sympathy. Anupama is shocked.
Manpreet Accuses Anupama of Seeking Sympathy
Manpreet says she has judged many shows where contestants fake injuries and illnesses just to gain sympathy from the audience and judges after hiding their weakness.
She says this is only a cooking competition not a place for excuses. Sikandar says Anupama has made no excuses and is fully prepared to compete. Roy also says everyone can clearly see the swelling.
Manpreet says swelling can also happen if a bandage is tied tightly. She says she still believes the injury is fake.
Prem Defends Anupama
Prem speaks up.He tells Manpreet that Anupama’s injury is real while her doubts are false. He says he saw Anupama getting injured outside his café.
He also says he can send the CCTV footage if needed. Pari says Anupama got injured while saving her. She says Manpreet will not believe the CCTV footage either because she has already decided that Anupama is wrong.
Rahi thanks Prem for supporting Anupama.
Prem says she should not misunderstand him.
Prem’s Determination
Prem says he is not helping Anupama out of sympathy. He did not want a false accusation to take away Anupama’s chance to compete in front of the whole world.
He says he saved her today so that he can defeat her fairly later.
Manpreet Apologises
Digvijay tells Manpreet that she should apologise to Anupama for accusing her falsely. He says her the show is being telecast live and millions of people are watching.
He says if she thinks the audience will still support her after this behaviour then that is her choice. Manpreet finally apologises to Anupama.
Leela says that Digvijay has made the judges angry. Hasmukh says they can think about the rest later. For now this is right.
Anupama Refuses Sympathy
Manpreet warns Anupama not to use her injury to gain sympathy. Anupama replies that for housewives injured hands are very common.
She says housewives become so used to pain that many of them do not even tell anyone about it. She says she is also a woman and must have experienced this herself.
Anupama clearly says she does not want sympathy, a victim card, or anyone’s pity. She says she has come here to win through her hard work. Everyone claps for Anupama. Manpreet is not happy.
The Second Round Task Is Announced
The host announces the second round. He says every team has to prepare two dishes within 30 minutes one starter and one main course.
Leela is shocked and wonders how anyone can prepare two dishes in such a short time. The host says all the required ingredients have already been placed on their tables.
Mahi says they can do it. The host then reveals the twist. He says the task is called “Bandhe Haath Aadha Saath.”
He says every team two members one hand of each teammate will be tied together with handcuffs. That means each contestant will be able to use only one free hand while cooking. Anupama becomes worried.
Precap: The semi-final results are announced. Prem qualifies for the next round but Anupama’s journey in the competition comes to an end. Anupama becomes emotional and says that everything is over.
