Today’s episode begins with Anupama entering the cafe. She breaks down as she recalls her journey. She says she had asked God there should be no problem between her and her dream.
She wonders what she has done and why this is happening to her. Prerna, Ishani, and Banku come there.
Banku Tries to Motivate Anupama
Prerna wonders how they can calm Anupama down. Ishani says she does not think Anupama will be able to go to the competition in this condition.
Banku says Anupama is sad right now but earlier when her hand was injured and her feet were hurting she still went to the competition.
He says she can go now too because Anupama is a fighter. Banku says Anupama doesn’t need to taste the food to cook .He says they are all with her. They decide to talk to Anupama.
Anupama Refuses to Compete
Banku tells Anupama whatever she says he will make the same thing for her. Anupama says she cannot feel the taste anymore so what is the use of eating the food?
Banku says if she eats something sweet she may feel better. He tells her they have to leave for the competition in one hour.
Anupama refuses to go to the competition. She says that she does not want to hear anything right now.
Anupama Loses Hope
Jaya comes there with her house model. She tells her that her house has broken. Anupama gets emotional . Jaya says she does not know how she will build a house again.
She says she was very careful but she does not know how it broke. Anupama tells Jaya her house has also broken. Her dream has also broken. Jaya asks what will happen now.
Anupama tells her whatever happens to her is fine but Jaya should build the house of her dreams. Jaya wishes Anupama the best for the competition. Banku takes Jaya away from there.
Hasmukh Supports Anupama
Hasmukh asks Anupama how she can sit there when they have to go to the competition studio. Anupama says her decision has already been made.
She feels that God has taken her dream away from her. Hasmukh tells Anupama she has cooked offerings for God during every Janmashtami. He asks if she made those offerings only after tasting them.
He says people do not give food to God by tasting it first. He tells her everyone eats the food she makes and praises it.
Hasmukh Encourages Anupama
Hasmukh says even when she had a cold, fever or weakness, she still cooked.He tells her she cooked even while dealing with the noise and responsibilities of her husband and children.
He says she has trained her mind so well her hand cannot easily put the wrong amount of spice into the food.
Hasmukh says this has become her muscle memory. He says the cafe needs tasting but a mother does not always need to taste the food to cook it.
Digvijay Gives Anupama Hope
Digvijay says get difficult tasks in every round. Every time Anupama completes those tasks. He says she has to do this task too. If the people in the competition tell her she has to cook without tasting the food does that mean she will not cook?
He asks her to believe today’s task is the house of her dreams and the competition has itself put a restriction on her. He tells Anupama she has to complete every task even if there are restrictions.
Prerna says Anupama is just one step away from building her dream house. He asks her to take that step.
Digvijay Assures Anupama
Anupama worries that the judges may find out about her problem. Digvijay tells her she does not have to tell them. He says that in every task the food and its presentation need to be good. If that happens she will win and if it does not she will lose.
He says they cannot tell Prem and Manpreet about Anupama’s problem because they may think that she is playing the victim card. Digvijay tells Anupama she is a winner and the best.
Prerna tells Anupama she should stop thinking about all this because the grand finale is about to begin.
Anupama Misses Anuj
Anupama talks to Anuj’s photo. She says she had waited for this day and had taken a vow for it. She says the day she had been waiting for has finally come.
She says she had thought she would taste the happiness of winning. But now she feels her life has become tasteless. Anupama wonders what she will do after going to the competition. She becomes emotional.
She says she cannot do it. She cannot do everything. She says the kids, Digvijay and Hasmukh are all telling her that she should go. But Anupama says that she is scared. She says that she cannot do this.
Pakhi Uncovers Toshu’s Secret
Toshu is happy and counts the money he has received. Pakhi comes there and snatches the money from him. She asks Toshu where he got so much money. Toshu lies that he cracked a deal.
Pakhi asks him to tell her the truth. She asks if there is any connection between his friend’s food and Anupama losing her sense of taste. Toshu says he did not know anything about the food. He says that Gautam told him to make Anupama eat it.
He says that he had no idea about Gautam’s plan. Pakhi asks what would have happened if there had been poison in the food and something had happened to Anupama.
Pakhi Warns Toshu
Pakhi says that Gautam is such a low person that he can do anything. Pakhi says if she had knowingly made Anupama eat something through Toshu she would also have blamed herself.
Toshu asks why Pakhi is scaring him when Anupama is fine. Pakhi says if everyone finds out about this it will become a big problem. Toshu says that Pakhi is blackmailing him.
Pakhi tells him Rakshabandhan is coming and tells him to give her a Rakhi gift. Toshu gives her the money. He says that Anupama is not going to the competition anyway. They see Prerna and Ishani preparing to leave.
Toshu Fears Anupama’s Return
Toshu asks where they are going. He wonders why they are going to watch the competition when Anupama is not going to participate.
Pakhi wonders if Anupama is still planning to participate in the competition. Toshu says if Anupama reaches the competition Gautam may ask him to return money.
He says he will not tell Gautam anything. Pakhi worries about what will happen if Anupama reaches the competition and wins.
The Grand Finale Begins
Later at the competition venue the host performs with Prem’s team and Anupama’s team. Vasundhara asks Gautam he had said Anupama’s team would not participate.
She points out the people from Anupama’s team are dancing. Gautam says Anupama and Digvijay have not come. He says they have come because the organizers called them from the program and they will dance and then leave.
Gautam Assures Vasundhara
Gautam tells Vasundhara not to worry. He says his plan has already worked and he has made sure that Anupama will not be able to enter the competition.
The host welcomes everyone and announces that the grand finale has begun. He says the winning team will receive 50 lakh and the winning dish will get a place in the top five restaurants.
He then announces an even bigger surprise. The winner will also get a chance to open an international restaurant abroad.
Anupama’s Absence Shocks Everyone
Prem notices Anupama’s team and wonders why they look so sad on the day of the grand finale. Rahi also wonders why everyone has arrived but Anupama and Digvijay are missing.
The host receives some information. Gautam says that his plan has worked. He says the host will come and announce Anupama has withdrawn her name from the competition at the last moment.
Toshu says Pakhi Anupama will not come now. Manpreet asks what has happened. The host says that Anupama and Digvijay are late and have still not reached the venue.
Prem Suspects Vasundhara
Prem wonders if Vasundhara did something. Rahi says she does not think Vasundhara would do anything like this after what happened. Prem says why Anupama has not arrived.
He says he does not want a walkover. He wants to win the competition by defeating Anupama because a victory without Anupama would feel incomplete.
The Final Timer Begins for Anupama
Roy says how Anupama can be late for the grand finale. Manpreet says to start official timing .
Sikandar says if Anupama does not arrive within the next five minutes she will be out of the competition according to the rules.
Everyone gets shocked. Vasundhara thinks that even if she has to bear Prem’s anger she will do whatever it takes to ensure his victory. The host starts the timer.
Precap: Anupama finally reaches the grand finale. In the last round Anupama has to taste the spice and add it to the dish. Anupama says her sense of taste has still not returned.
She becomes worried and wonders what will happen if she makes a mistake in salt or sugar because she cannot taste them properly.
