Today’s episode begins with Rahi at the temple thinking about Prem. Digvijay arrives and asks if she is praying for forgiveness for Prem’s mistake. He says that even God cannot forgive what Prem has done.
Rahi tells Digvijay that if he has come to pray he should do that and stop interfering in other people’s prayers. Digvijay says that some mistakes cannot be erased by prayers they require repentance. He adds that insulting a mother is the biggest mistake in the world and the person who causes that pain eventually has to suffer it too.
Rahi sarcastically tells him to go somewhere else if he wants to write an essay about a mother’s greatness. Digvijay says he only wants to tell her one thing her heart knows who is wrong because supporting someone wrong is also wrong.
Anupama Worries About Digvijay
Meanwhile Anupama asks Ansh where Digvijay has gone. She says she will go and check but Kinjal and Ansh insist that she return home because Hasmukh must be worried. They assure her that Digvijay will come back.
Digvijay Question Rahi
Digvijay asks Rahi whether she truly believes Prem did nothing wrong and that she is not wrong for supporting him. He ask her to place her hand on her heart and say it honestly.
Rahi avoids answering. Digvijay says that tears may not fall from a mother’s eyes but she may still feel shattered inside. He tells Rahi that she is restless because she has already fallen in her own eyes.
He says he has not come to speak on Anupama’s behalf but for Rahi’s sake. He says he can see that she is trapped between her husband and her mother between right and wrong. He tells Rahi is upset because she believes Anupama has forgotten Anuj and moved on.
Digvijay explains that Anupama has never forgotten Anuj. He then asks Rahi a question if there is someone in the world who wants to give Anupama happiness why does she not deserve it? Why should Anupama continue carrying the pain of losing Anuj forever? If everyone has the right to move forward in life why not Anupama?
Rahi argues that Anupama already has a family and does not need a friend. Digvijay replies that she also had a family yet he still needed Prem . He points out that the people who call themselves Anupama’s family Pakhi, Toshu, and even Rahi herself have often insulted her and pushed her away.
Digvijay says that everyone needs one special companion in life. If Rahi has that person in Prem then why should Anupama not have someone too? He clarifies that he is not trying to replace Anuj or become a father figure. He says she lost his father while he lost her daughter and neither loss can be replaced.
Digvijay advises Rahi not to let hatred control her life because hatred only brings loss. He reminds her that she has spent years hating Anupama and asks why she keeps repeating the same mistake. He tells her to ask herself a question if he had made the same mistake as Prem and Anupama had stood by him would she judge herself the same way she is judging Anupama today?Digvijay then leaves.
Leela Scolds Pakhi and Toshu
At the Shah house Pakhi and Toshu celebrate Prem’s success. Toshu mocks Anupama saying that she worked hard but Prem received all the benefits. He enjoys the fact that Prem has opened his own cafe. He says Gautam allows him to leave from work earlier to watch the drama and report everything back to him.
Leela suddenly hits Pakhi and Toshu with a broom and scolds them. She says that she may criticize Anupama because she is her mother and has that right but they have no right to insult her. Leela warns them that if they speak badly about Anupama again she will not spare them. She admits that although she often gets angry with Anupama it hurts her the most whenever Anupama suffers.
Leela calls them a curse in Anupama’s life and tells them not to celebrate her failures. She prays to God and wonders how many more tests Anupama will have to face.
Ansh and Prerna Talk About Anupama
Later Prerna tells Ansh that it was good he sent Anupama home because she must be mentally and physically exhausted.
Ansh agrees and says that not only was her money wasted but all her hard work was taken away without reason. Prerna says that no one can take away the taste of Anupama’s cooking.
Ansh smiles. When Prerna asks why he says he almost called Anupama mother. Prerna replies that living with them has become a habit for her.
Prem Boasts About His Success
Ansh and Prerna overhear Shruti praising Prem. She says she is impressed because he secured a six-month contract in a single day. She adds that they will have to hire new staff.
Prem deliberately speaks loudly so that Ansh and Prerna can hear him. He says they will hire more employees and bring in so much business that nobody will even have time to sit. He boasts that he will use all his contacts for marketing and public relations. Soon every food blogger and food reviewer will rank their cafe as number one.
Ansh becomes furious but Prerna tries to calm him down. Shruti taunts Ansh and Prerna saying prem he should lock their cafe carefully because poor people sometimes get jealous of rich people’s success and might resort to cheap tricks like vandalism or theft. Unable to control himself Ansh says that the truly cheap people are those who steal someone else’s contract.
Prem asks Ansh to speak respectfully because Shruti is like a mother to him. Ansh sarcastically replies that he respects Khyati he asks prem if she stopped him calling her son.
Prem and Ansh Get Into a Fight
The argument quickly turns into a physical fight between Prem and Ansh. Prerna pulls Ansh away and reminds him that he promised Anupama he would stay out of trouble. She says Prem can cross any limit to ruin Anupama and her cafe.
Ansh says he never imagined Prem could stoop so low. Prerna admits she regrets once liked Prem she then says that it was just a phase. She says the person Prem has become now is someone she does not even want to be associated with. Later Ansh receives a video message from Pari of Pranshi. Watching it makes him emotional. Prerna comforts him and assures him that Pranshi will soon be with him. She then tries to cheer him up she dances and the two share laugh together.
Anupama and Digvijay see Ansh and Prerna Together
Anupama bumps into Digvijay and asks where he had gone because she was worried. Digvijay tells her to rest since she is unwell but Anupama insists she still has work at the café.
The two head toward the café and see Ansh and Prerna dancing and enjoying themselves. Suddenly Prerna loses her balance and Ansh catches her in his arms. For a moment they are lost in each other’s eyes.
They then notice Anupama and Digvijay standing there. Embarrassed Ansh and Prerna start explaining themselves.
Tension Rises in the Kothari House
At the Kothari house Vasundhara gifts Pari an expensive necklace. Meeta wonders how much it must have cost. Gautam comments that Vasundhara spends both love and money generously.
Vasundhara asks Raja to help Pari wear the necklace. She says that now she must completely stop Pari from leaving the house. Pari requests permission to stay at the Shah house for a few days. Vasundhara refuses and asks who will take care of her if she goes there. Pari says she wants to spend time with Kinjal. Vasundhara reminds her that the Kotharis are enemies of the Shahs. Pari argues that her family and her mother are not her enemies.
Khyati supports Pari and says that every pregnant woman needs her mother. Vasundhara becomes angry and says that Khyati should visit her own parents first. Pari replies that she cannot stay away from her family. Vasundhara claims that the Kothari house is now Pari’s real home and gives Rahi as an example. She says Rahi finally understood that the Shah house was never her true home and cut ties with it.
Gautam adds that people should stay away from Anupama because she attracts controversy. Prem says Anupama should be removed from everyone’s life completely. Shruti reminds everyone that although Prem has won a major contract they must remain alert because Anupama has become stronger after teaming with Digvijay.
Vasundhara mocks Anupama and Digvijay’s friendship and suggests that their relationship is something more. Gautam agrees and claims that a man and a woman can never be just friends. Prem declares that he will destroy both Anupama and Digvijay.
Rahi Stands Up for Anupama
Everyone is shocked when Rahi finally speaks up. She says that every conversation in the house eventually turns into insulting Anupama and that she is tired of being caught in the middle.
Rahi firmly states that a man and a woman can be friends and that friendship can exist at any age. she says Anupama and Digvijay are friend nothing more. She reminds Prem that he and Prerna also were his friends and she never questioned their relationship because she trusted him. She says it is possible that everyone is wrong about Anupama and Digvijay too.
Rahi advises everyone to focus on their own work instead of constantly insulting Anupama. Vasundhara is shocked and asks whether Rahi has lost her senses. Shruti asks why she is supporting Anupama despite everything that happened. Rahi admits that it was her anger and misunderstandings Anupama never replaced Anuj with anyone else.
Prem is surprised and asks her about her sudden clarity and asks whether Anupama has brainwashed her. Rahi replies that she has not even met Anupama. Meanwhile Anupama senses that Rahi is in trouble and calls out her name.
