Today’s episode begins with Anupama saying that Prerna first lived in this house as a daughter and today she has become the daughter-in-law of the same house.
She says she is standing on both the bride’s and the groom’s side because Prerna is her daughter. Anupama says this house is fortunate because it got the chance to become both Prerna’s Maternal home and In-laws house.
Anupama Gives Emotional Speech
Anupama says everyone will perform all the family rituals together. Anupama says Prerna will leave this house as a daughter and today she will enter it again as a daughter-in-law.
She says Prerna’s journey from her parents home to her marital home is short but it will give her a new identity and remind her of her new responsibilities.
Leela says when Prerna enters the house as a daughter-in-law she will take the responsibility of her new family.
Anupama says with everyone’s blessings, a new chapter in Prerna and Ansh’s life will begin.
Prerna Performs Her Farewell Ritual
Prerna performs her farewell ritual. Prem says he will take Ansh and Prerna for a ride. Rahi says that until they return everyone should prepare for Prerna’s griha pravesh.
Vasundhara says they have turned the farewell into a game. Anupama asks if they used to play with dolls as children. She says they can enjoy the same happiness once again.
Vasundhara says supposed to cry during her doll farewell because that is the tradition. Anupama says today the farewell is happening for real so they should perform it properly. She says rituals are meaningful only when they are done with faith.
Anupama Performs Prerna’s Grihapravesh Ritual
Prem takes Ansh and Prerna for a drive. Digvijay says he is not very religious but after performing Prerna’s wedding rituals he feels as if he has earned the blessings of performing his own daughter Saavi’s kanyadaan.
Anupama says she has sent her daughter with love and now she will welcome her daughter-in-law. After some time Prem, Rahi, Ansh and Prerna return home.
Anupama welcomes Prerna as she performs the griha pravesh ritual. Prerna lights a diya in the temple.
Toshu Targets Prem
Digvijay receives an email about the cooking competition. Prem reads the email and says in the next round five family members must also participate.
Leela says she will go with Anupama. Vasundhara says she will go with Prem. Anupama says they can sit together later and decide who will go. Prem says he will decide who goes with him because he wants the best cooks.
Toshu asks why he needs the best cooks. He says Prem can still win even if he takes Shruti with him. Prem is shocked by the comment. Kinjal says even Anupama is one of the best cooks.
Toshu Exposes Prem
Toshu says winning a competition needs talent but it also needs brains and strategy. Anupama asks Toshu why he is talking nonsense about something he does not know. She asks him to stop.
Toshu says Prem and Shruti are not worried about the competition. That is why they spent their time attending the wedding. He says Prem is not afraid of his competition because he already knows all the secret recipes and ingredients.
Rahi asks what he is trying to say. Toshu says Rahi should stop acting innocent because Prem must have already told her everything about what he was planning to do with Anupama.
Toshu Reveals Prem Stole Anupama’s Diary
Anupama asks what secret he is talking about. She says everyone knows they are participating in the competition and Prem wants to win.
She says food can have more or less salt and taste can change. There is no secret in that. Toshu asks where Anupama’s recipe diary is.Prem and Shruti become nervous. Anupama asks why he is talking about her recipe diary.
Kinjal says the diary is missing. Toshu says they will never find it in the Shah house because Prem took the diary to the Kothari house and hid it there.
Hasmukh asks Prem where he found the diary. Toshu says Prem did not find it he stole it. Everyone is shocked. Toshu tells everyone the entire truth.
Prem Confesses the Truth
Vasundhara says Toshu should not call Prem a thief. Anupama tells him just yesterday she said anyone who falsely accuses someone would be thrown out of the house.
Toshu says he is telling the truth..He says he saw Prem stealing the diary. He asks Prem to place his hand on Rahi’s head and swear that he is lying. He says if Prem lies he will see Rahi’s dead face.
Prem admits that he stole Anupama’s recipe diary. Everyone is left speechless. Rahi is completely heartbroken. Anupama stands frozen in shock.
The Family Turns Against Prem
Ansh says he thought Prem truly wanted to build a relationship with Prerna and become part of the family. He says he had started believing Prem had changed but now he realises it was all an act.
He says Prem did not attend the wedding to celebrate but to steal the diary. Prerna says she tolerated Prem’s anger but she never expected him to fall so low. Khyati says she told Prem to control himself because hatred destroys everything.
Anil says Prem will not even be able to look at himself in the mirror now. Kinjal says when Prem considered Anupama his mother he was honest. But after accepting Shruti as his mother he became a thief
Vasundhara Stands by Prem
Vasundhara defends Prem and says what is so special about a recipe that everyone is making such a big issue?
Mahi Kinjal and Pari say every family has its own secrets. Ishani says it is impossible Rahi knew nothing. Mahi says Prem and Rahi must have done the theft together which is why Rahi is quiet.
Prem Defends Rahi
Prem says Rahi knew nothing. He says whatever happened was his decision alone.
He says if Rahi had known the truth she would never have agreed she is not like him.
Banku says that, at this moment, he wishes the theft accusation against him had been true and the accusation against Prem had been false. Then Anupama’s heart would not have been broken so badly.
He says Anupama considered Prem her son but Prem risked a mother’s love just to win.
Rahi Left Heartbroken
Mahi says she now feels Prem also stole Anupama’s competition form. Rahi remembers seeing the competition form in the dustbin.
Ishani says Prem has become a habitual criminal. Khyati asks Vasundhara if she will still support Prem. She tells Prem to admit if he stole the competition form too.
Digvijay says he had already forgiven Prem once but now he feels that was a mistake. He says it would have been better if Prem had fought openly instead of betraying someone from behind.
Shruti Supports Prem
Shruti says everyone is attacking Prem because he is alone. She says Prem did only what Anupama forced him to do. Prerna asks how Anupama forced Prem.
Shruti says Digvijay and Anupama always challenged Prem. She says Anupama cancelled Prem’s cafe licence stopped his cafe from opening and took away his dream. Kinjal asks if Prem could not compete honestly then why did he have to steal?
Everyone says Shruti’s argument makes no sense. Shruti still says Prem did nothing wrong. She asks Rahi why she is silent and why she is not supporting Prem. Rahi says she loves Prem but she cannot support something that is wrong.
Digvijay Calls Out Shurti’s Actions
Shruti asks if what Anupama did with Prem was not wrong. She says wrong can be answered with wrong.
Digvijay says if Shruti truly calls herself Prem and Rahi’s mother then she should stop them from choosing the wrong path. He says she should teach them to fight fairly instead of attacking someone from behind.
Hasmukh says becoming a mother means rising above everything but Shruti has fallen very low. He says Prem Anupama may not have been Prem’s real mother but he was once a good son.
Leela says Prem stole from the same house that gave him so much love. he asks if he did not remember that love before stealing.
Prem Refuses to Back Down
Digvijay says Anupama trusted Prem more than herself. He asks why Prem did this.
Prem says because he wanted Anupama to lose badly.
He says he wanted to make her fall, destroy her pride, respect name and success. Everyone is stunned. Anupama says that if she loses to Prem it will still be a victory. Losing to her son is no less than winning.
Prem says if she got another chance she would do the same. Digvijay says Anupama is not Shruti. Prem says everything is fair in love and war. He says this competition is a war for him and he was ready to do anything to win.
Prem says he is not proud of what he did. He says she will get her recipe diary back.
Anupama’s Emotional Reply
Anupama says Prem can keep the diary, burn it or even tear it apart. She says relationships are made from the heart and the kitchen not from a book.
She says that men may need a book to build a connection with the kitchen but woman builds a relationship with the kitchen from the day she is born. She says if Prem needs the diary so much he can keep it. Vasundhara takes Prem away from there.
Anupama Questions Toshu
Anupama stands in shock and remembers all her old moments with Prem. She apologises to Ansh and Prerna because their wedding celebrations were ruined because of her.
Ansh says the mistake belongs to the Kotharis not to her. He says Prem has crossed every limit so nobody should be surprised anymore. Anupama agrees with him. She asks Toshu why he did not tell her earlier Prem had stolen the diary.
Kinjal says Toshu wanted to blackmail Prem first. Toshu says at least he finally told everyone the truth. Anupama says she does not want to hear anything.
Prerna says everything was ruined because of her wedding. She says she does not want to talk to anyone.
Precap: Prem asks Anupama why she has come. Anupama says she has come to ask him a question.
Rahi tells Shurti that Prem has completely changed. She asks that if Shurti truly loves him then why did she take him away from her. Rahi says that if Shurti has a problem with Anupama she should deal with it herself and not make her and Prem a pawn in their fight.
Anupama asks Prem he was the smile of her face has now become the tears her eyes. She says his dream was to open a cafe and asks when that dream turned into a desire to destroy her.
