Today’s episode begins with Prem asking Anupama if she is jealous of him. Anupama gets emotional and says that if this is true then the earth should split apart and swallow her. She tells Prem that if he wants to test her motherhood then she is ready to give an agni pariksha for her children.
Anupama says that a mother can sacrifice herself for her child but she can never be jealous of her own child. Prem replies that he always trusted her words but now he feels she only says things and never proves them through actions. He tells her not to make fake promises anymore. Prem says that this time he will stand against her and she will face the same humiliation and insult that he suffered.
Meeta Blames Anupama
Anil tries to stop Prem but Meeta interrupts and asks why he is stopping him when he has just started speaking. Anil says he knew Meeta was waiting for a chance like this.
Meeta defends herself and says she is only supporting her children. Anil reminds her how she ignored Raja when they were upset. Meeta argues that they were unhappy because of Anupama. She says that whenever life is going smoothly Anupama suddenly enters and ruins everything before walking away.
Khyati supports Anupama and tells Meeta that some people in the family can only think negatively about Anupama. Meeta tries to answer back but Anil stops her and says she has insulted Anupama enough already and should leave Khyati alone.
Rahi Makes Horrible Allegations Against Anupama
Khyati breaks down and says that being called mother by Rahi and Prem was the biggest achievement of her life but today she feels scared of being their mother. She says that if being their mother means facing such insults then they should stop calling her mother.
Rahi coldly replies that Anupama only craves attention. She says that unless the entire world looks at her listens to her and follows her wishes she never feels satisfied. Rahi accuses her of seeking attention from men outside the family whenever the people at home stop focusing on her. Anupama stands shocked after hearing such disgusting accusations.
Ansh loses his temper and warns Rahi to stop speaking nonsense. Rahi says nothing is ever enough for Anupama. Ansh warns her not to cross limits but Rahi says she herself has forgotten what relation Ansh means to her.
Ishani tells Rahi that she has completely lost control and is speaking without any sense. Mahi says that Pakhi and she are the ones addicted to male attention not Anupama. Pakhi gets angry and asks Mahi not to drag her into the matter.
Hasmukh says Mahi is speaking the truth then she should remain silent. Kinjal says Anupama’s love has spoiled everyone’s thinking. Mahi reminds everyone that Anupama repeatedly forgave all their mistakes and always stood by the family.
Rahi Questions Anupama’s Character
Rahi says that Anupama became everyone’s mother except hers. A heartbroken Anupama asks what more she should have done to become her mother.
Rahi then brings up Shruti and says that after Anupama left Shruti immediately became her support system. She accuses Anupama of investing herself emotionally in every man she meets. Rahi says that first there was Vanraj, then Anuj, then Raghav and now Digvijay. She questions where Anupama will stop. Everyone is left stunned by Rahi’s cruel words.
Digvijay Defends Anupama
Digvijay finally steps in and warns Rahi to stay within limits. He says that until now he stayed silent because it was a family matter but now Rahi is questioning his bond with Anupama so he cannot remain quiet anymore.
Digvijay explains that his relationship with Anupama is pure and based on respect and humanity. He reveals that after his own son abandoned him on the streets his entire life had shattered. He had given up on everything including his daughter Saavi’s dreams. He says Anupama gave him courage and reminded him to live again. Digvijay says that if Anupama is helping him fulfill Saavi’s dream out of humanity and friendship then there is nothing wrong in it.
Rahi angrily asks why he is getting so affected just she raised her voice against her own mother. She then asks Anupama if she has replaced Anuj with Digvijay.
Anupama Slaps Rahi
Anupama completely loses control and slaps Rahi hard. Everyone in the house stands shocked.
Anupama says that a mother can carry her child in her lap forever but if that child starts insulting her dignity then the same mother can throw them down to reality.
Through tears Anupama says that Anuj always told her that his identity lived within her name itself. She says nobody can ever replace Anuj in her life and no one can remove her from Anuj’s life either.
Anupama Breaks Down Remembering Anuj
Anupama drags Rahi away while Shruti tries to stop her. Anupama asks Shruti not to interfere between a mother and daughter.
Anupama then confronts Rahi and asks how she could accuse her of forgetting Anuj. She says that from head to toe every part of her life is filled with Anuj’s memories. She tells Rahi that by questioning her character she has insulted Anuj’s love and made his memories impure.
Crying bitterly Anupama says she is still alive only because of Anuj’s name and love. She asks Rahi how many times a day she even remembers her father before questioning her mother’s loyalty.
Anupama further explains that Anuj trusted Saavi’s dream and she is only trying to fulfill that dream for his sake.
Anupama Calls Rahi a Bad Daughter
In an emotional outburst Anupama tells Rahi that insulting her own mother disrespecting friendship and humanity and giving dirty names to a pure relationship proves how low her thinking has become.
She says Rahi has forgotten every value Anuj taught her. Finally Anupama declares that she is not a bad mother instead Rahi has become a bad daughter.
Anupama Questions Rahi For Doubting Her Character
Anupama confronts Rahi and asks who gave her the right to question her character and motherhood. She says the day Rahi becomes a mother she will understand that a mother can fight against the entire world for her child no matter how difficult or demanding that child may be.
Anupama explains that Digvijay understands the pain of losing a child just like she does. She says he lost Saavi while she lost Samar and that shared pain has created a bond between them. She clarifies the relationship between them is only a connection built on grief and understanding.
She reminds Rahi that only a few days ago she herself had said that times have changed and nowadays people stay comfortable even with their ex-partners. Anupama says if she accepts friendships and partnerships between Prerna and Prem then why can’t she and Digvijay simply share a friendship based on emotional support. She calls Rahi’s thinking hypocritical and labels it as double standards.
Anupama Warns Rahi
Anupama further says she only came for the inspection because destiny forced the responsibility upon them. She explains that if the company had not called them for the inspection Rahi herself would have gone through such emotional turmoil.
She says the situation became her burden because fate placed it . Anupama asks both Rahi and Prem to stop blaming her for everything that happened during the inspection.
Prem finally says that nothing is left to say anymore and decides to leave with Rahi and the Kothari family.
Anupama Questions Vasundhara’s Intentions
Vasundhara comments that they had only come to celebrate a birthday but the entire occasion turned into chaos. Anupama replies sharply that Vasundhara’s intentions were already visible through the way she brought gifts and behaved at the function.
Rahi emotionally says she will remember Anupama’s slap for the rest of her life. Anupama answers that she should remember it forever because this is what happens when a child tries to come between a mother and a father.
Digvijay Take Stand Against Everyone
Digvijay steps in and tells Rahi that the pain of losing one’s never goes away even after gaining everything else in life. He says Rahi has Prem a family and even a new mother figure in her life yet she still misses Anuj deeply.
He says Anupama has nobody beside her she carries Anuj in her heart every moment. Digvijay asks Rahi not to turn pain into a competition because Anupama would lose everything if such a comparison begins. He explains that although Anupama slapped Rahi the biggest pain for her is seeing herself become a villain in her own daughter’s eyes. He adds that Anuj would also be deeply hurt seeing the hatred and loneliness Anupama is facing from her own family.
Digvijay says judging someone is very easy but understanding them is extremely difficult. He advises Rahi to stop testing her mother and instead try to feel her pain before it becomes too late. After hearing him Prem, Rahi and the Kotharis leave the Shah house.
Shah Family Reacts To The Drama
Ansh, Ishani, Kinjal and Mahi try to console Anupama after the emotional confrontation.
Toshu mocks the situation and taunts Anupama by saying she first delivers lectures like a saint and later cries like an emotional victim. He sarcastically tells Digvijay that at least he should now explain things to them properly.
Pakhi also targets Digvijay and says he first entered their family function and is now interfering in their family matters too. She folds her hands and respectfully asks him to stay away from their family.
Hasmukh Supports Anupama
Hasmukh loses his temper at Paritosh and Pakhi and warns them to stop insulting Anupama. He says he will not tolerate their disrespect anymore.
Leela then says she remained silent for so long hoping the birthday celebration would pass peacefully but everything turned into a disaster. She calls herself unfortunate and says parents marry off their daughters hoping they live happily but shr could never even properly bid farewell to Anupama.
Leela blames herself for bringing Vanraj into Anupama’s life and says she is now tired of constantly suffering because of Anupama’s decisions. Leela says Anupama can never change and always brings trouble wherever she goes.
Rahi’s earlier words continue to echo in everyone’s mind as she had warned that society would also question Anupama and Digvijay’s relationship. She had said family members can fight with society but they can never silence people’s opinions.
Leela Asks Digvijay To Leave
Leela tells Digvijay that while Anupama is stubborn he is still sensible enough to understand the consequences. She asks him to leave and spare Anupama from further humiliation.
Digvijay accepts responsibility and apologizes saying Anupama suffered insults only because of him. He prepares to leave but Anupama stops him by giving him Saavi’s oath.
Anupama Declares She Will Live On Her Own Terms
Anupama emotionally says she is no longer the old Anupama who blindly followed her husband’s every order fulfilled every demand of her children and valued the family’s respect above her own self-respect.
She firmly announces that she will no longer fear society or live according to people’s judgments. She says she wants to live freely for Anuj and fulfill her dreams on her own conditions.
Ansh, Mahi, Kinjal and Ishani support Anupama’s decision. Hasmukh blesses her.
Anupama then calls Jaya and says that Saavi and Anuj’s dream will now be fulfilled together. She picks up the fallen crown from the floor and places it back on her head proudly symbolizing her new confidence and independence.
Precap: Anupama questions why children place conditions on a mother’s unconditional love. Rahi tells Prem that no matter what happens she can never become Anupama’s priority.
Meanwhile Anupama tells Banku that they have to get the café ready as its opening is scheduled in two days. Kinjal informs Anupama that Mahi has sent Gautam divorce papers.
Vasundhara immediately accuses Anupama of using Mahi to take revenge for yesterday’s humiliation. Anupama says she no longer cares about what society thinks or says about her. Later Vasundhara plans with Gautam and says they must do something so that Anupama’s cafe never opens successfully.
