Today’s episode begins with the Kothari family arriving at the cafe inauguration along with Prem and Rahi. Vasundhara praises the beauty and classy decor of the cafe. Prem takes blessings from Vasundhara and she blesses him by saying that he should achieve everything he desires in life. Prem and Rahi then take blessings from Leela and Hasmukh as well and they both bless the couple wholeheartedly.
Toshu and Pakhi also praise Prem for the cafe and call it a very classy place. Toshu excitedly lifts Prem and jokes that now the property value of the entire lane will increase because of his cafe.
Shruti says that nobody knows how much struggle Prem and Rahi went through to reach this stage and everything they achieved today is the result of their dedication and hard work. Prem adds that Prerna also supported him in fulfilling this dream. Shruti replies that since Prerna is working with Prem she will naturally learn a lot from him. She confidently says that one day Anuj Cafe will become a status symbol in Ahmedabad.
Toshu agrees with Shruti and says that after Prem’s cafe opens nobody will even look at any other cafe in the area. While mocking Anupama’s cafe he suddenly becomes shocked after seeing Anupama standing there.
Anupama Arrives At Inauguration
Anupama arrives at the inauguration and congratulates Prem and Rahi. She brings a gift for Prem and says she brought something he likes. She also says that the sweets she brought will bring sweetness into their relationship and the cafe’s future.
However Prem and Rahi do not respond warmly to her. Shruti immediately interrupts and takes the gift from Anupama’s hands. She asks why there was any need for all this and tells Anupama to step back because media interaction is about to begin. Shruti coldly says that only family members are supposed to stay there.
Prerna then thanks Anupama for bringing gifts. Anupama tells Prerna that she has brought something for her as well. She blesses and congratulates her warmly. Prerna hugs Anupama lovingly but Shruti clearly dislikes seeing Anupama and Prerna getting close.
Meanwhile Digvijay watches everything silently. Banku tells Digvijay that although Anupama has gone there with good intentions he feels nervous thinking about how Prem and Rahi might behave with her. He says that if it were up to him he would never have allowed Anupama to go there.
Digvijay replies that if a mother wishes to meet her children nobody has the right to stop her. Banku says Anupama went there wholeheartedly to bless them but Prem never truly invited her with love and respect. He fears Prem may insult her badly.
Vasundhara Praise Shruti Infront of Anupama
Vasundhara reminds everyone that the auspicious inauguration time is passing and asks them to begin the ceremony. Prem requests Vasundhara to inaugurate the cafe.
However Vasundhara refuses and says that more than her Shruti deserves this honor. She says Shruti stood beside Prem during every difficult phase of his life and helped him overcome every obstacle.
Prem agrees with Vasundhara and indirectly taunts Anupama. He says that when others considered him a loser Shruti showed him the path to victory and gave him the opportunities that someone else had snatched away from him.
Anupama Face Massive Insult
A reporter asks Rahi whether she opened the cafe to compete with her mother Anupama. Rahi arrogantly replies that competition only happens among people of the same level not with those beneath them. Anupama is left completely shocked hearing this.
Shruti then tells the media not to stoop to such low conversations. She says she knows Anupama’s cafe is small and cannot match theirs but that still does not mean they will speak disrespectfully. Vasundhara adds that even poor people deserve respect.
The reporters then ask Anupama whether she believes her cafe can survive against Prem and Rahi’s cafe and whether she considers Rahi her competition. Leela quickly interrupts and says there is no need to answer such questions and upset the Kotharis. She reminds Anupama that Vasundhara had gifted her an expensive birthday gift and asks her to stay quiet.
The reporters insist Anupama answer. Anupama calmly says that a mother’s heart only carries love and blessings for her children never competition. She says a mother can never compete with her own children because she only wishes for their happiness. Prem sarcastically reacts to her statement while Shruti tells him to proceed with the inauguration.
Hasmukh quietly tells Anupama that a mother can sacrifice everything for her children except her self-respect. Ansh asks Anupama to leave the place but she tells him to calm down.
Prem Humiliated Anupama
Shruti brings Anuj’s photograph for the opening ceremony. Anupama asks Prerna to happily join the inauguration.
Shruti, Vasundhara, Prem and Rahi officially inaugurated the cafe. However Prerna feels ignored as everyone leaves her behind during the celebration. Later Anil asks Anupama to feed homemade cake to Prem. Even Prerna insists. Anupama lovingly tries to feed the cake to Prem but Shruti stops her and thanks Anupama on Prem’s behalf.
As the Kotharis heads inside the cafe Anupama also starts walking in. However Prem suddenly stops her from entering.
He says she was invited only for the inauguration which is now over. Prem bluntly says that this is the most important day of his life and he does not want any negativity entering his cafe.
Shah Family Defends Anupama
Kinjal, Ansh, Mahi, Ishani, and Pari immediately defend Anupama. Ansh angrily says Prem only invited Anupama to publicly insult her. Ishani says if Prem truly wants negativity out then he should first throw himself and Rahi out of the cafe. Mahi adds that Gautam should also leave because he himself is a shop full of negativity.
Ansh tells Prem that he may not consider Anupama his mother anymore but they still respect her and cannot tolerate anyone insulting her. Rahi then taunts Anupama and says instead of blaming them everyone should remember how Anupama destroyed relationships by opening her cafe right after theirs.
Kinjal fires back and says inviting Anupama only to insult her publicly is disgraceful. Mahi says Gautam alone was enough for such cheap tricks. Kinjal tells Prem to grow up and stop repeatedly crying about the same issue. Prem angrily replies that he is not crying but fighting and he will win.
Ansh says that children who try to defeat their own mother eventually become the biggest losers.
Prem Declares War Against Anupama
Anupama takes Ansh away but Prem continues speaking loudly so she can hear him. He says life will turn this loser into the biggest winner one day. Prem declares that Anupama once broke him completely but he rebuilt himself again.
Kinjal taunts that Shruti did everything for the cafe while Prem contributed nothing himself. Mahi mocks Prem for calling himself self-made despite depending entirely on Shruti. Prem replies that building a cafe and successfully running one are two different things. He says Shruti built the cafe but he will make it successful. Prem then cruelly says that next time he will gift Anupama a lock so she can permanently shut down her cafe.
Digvijay silently watches everything while struggling to control his anger. Anil then advises Prem that business in India runs more on emotions and blessings than pure profit. He reminds Prem that Anupama came there to bless him yet he insulted her badly. Anil says someday Prem himself will need that lock. Anupama stops Anil from saying more.
Prem Breaks Down Emotionally
Prem then says that even outsiders and family members have turned against him. He accuses Anupama of emotionally manipulating everyone.
Rahi adds that Anupama never understood boundaries. She taunts Anupama for abandoning her own children while adopting strangers and making them part of her lihom Hasmukh reminds Rahi that when Anupama adopted Rahi Pakhi and Toshu had also once complained that she kept bringing strangers home.
Prem emotionally says that making someone your own and keeping them forever are two very different things. He accuses Anupama of making him feel like family only to stab him later. He says that until now he believed Shruti Rahi, and Vasundhara misunderstood Anupama but today he realizes they were right and he was wrong.
Prem breaks down remembering how he supported Anupama when everyone hated her. He says he always stood beside her especially after Aryan’s death but he admitted that he misunderstood her but also missed her most and today when they all are insulting his dream Anupama is not taking any stand for him. Kinjal argues that Prem publicly insulted Anupama and now expects her to defend him.
Prem says he is talking only to Anupama. He reminds her how shattered he was without Rahi and how he always supported her when even her family stood against her. He emotionally asks what she ever did for him in return and accuses her of turning him into a stranger.
Prem says Anupama taught him that relationships hold no value in this world and only success matters. He declares that while others become successful for love he will become successful out of hatred of anupama
Anupama Breaks Down
Anupama becomes emotionally shattered and starts feeling dizzy. Kinjal, Ansh, Mahi, Ishani, and Pari support her.
Hasmukh sadly tells Prem to say everything at once instead of killing Anupama slowly with repeated insults. Prem replies that he himself has been dying slowly all this time.
Anupama tearfully says Prem can hate her, curse her or even destroy her if he wants but she only wishes for his happiness. She says she came there only to bless him and admits that perhaps she should never have come at all. After apologizing emotionally Anupama leaves the cafe in tears.
Shah Family Slams Prem and Rahi Before Leaving
Before leaving Rahi asks the Shah family to at least eat prasad. Kinjal sharply replies that prasad loses its purity in a house where mothers are insulted. Rahi says mothers deserve respect only when they behave like mothers.
Ansh furiously reminds Rahi how she repeatedly hated Anupama later cried and apologized only to repeat the same mistakes again and again while constantly searching for new mother figures. Vasundhara warns Ansh not to raise his voice against a Kothari daughter-in-law. Gautam adds that such behavior can only be expected from the Shah family.
Hasmukh then questions Prem and Rahi that if they truly hated Anupama so much why did they even invite her. Ansh replies that they invited her only to insult her publicly. Mahi adds that Rahi’s family has always specialized in creating drama. Khyati apologizes to the Shah family on Prem’s behalf.
Hasmukh tells Prem that today he spoke far too much but now time itself will answer him. Prem is left stunned hearing this as the Shah family walks away.
Back home Anupama keeps remembering Prem’s cruel words and completely breaks down emotionally.
Precap: Anupama gets deeply hurt by Prem and Rahi’s behaviour and locks herself inside her room.
Digvijay supports Anupama emotionally. Anupama says she always loses the people she loves. Digvijay reminds her that even he once wanted to lose everything but survived because of her . Anupama says she will not allow destiny to close its doors on her forever. She expresses her wish that one day she will buy the house herself and name it after her own identity.
