Released in theatres on August 14, 2026, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2007 cult classic kicked off its box office journey with an impressive ₹22 crore on Friday, followed by a massive surge over the weekend. The film collected ₹33.75 crore on Saturday and ₹26 crore on Sunday, leading to a stellar opening weekend total of over ₹81 crore net. Moving into the regular work week, the momentum showed no sign of stopping as it added ₹9.25 crore on Monday and picked up further speed on Tuesday with ₹9.75 crore, pushing the total domestic net earnings to ₹100.75 crore.
