The highly anticipated trailer launch of Drishyam The Conclusion took place today in Goa, marking the grand unveiling of the final chapter in the iconic Hindi suspense thriller franchise. The event brought together lead star Ajay Devgn, alongside cast members Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, and director Abhishek Pathak, offering fans their first detailed look at how the epic saga will wrap up.
Unlike previous installments that drew heavily from the original Malayalam series, the makers confirmed that this Hindi conclusion features an entirely fresh script and new plot direction to deliver an unpredictable final showdown. Scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, 2026, the film is poised to be one of the biggest cinematic highlights of the year.
The newly unveiled trailer sets up a gripping narrative where old secrets resurface, putting the Salgaonkar family in their most vulnerable position yet. The plot continues the story of Vijay Salgaonkar, an ordinary cable operator whose extraordinary intellect and love for his family drove him to conceal a murder and outsmart the police across two films. In this third installment, years after burying the evidence, Vijay finds his past catching up with him as new clues threaten to expose his meticulously crafted alibis. Tabu reprises her role as former IG Meera Deshmukh, whose relentless quest for justice for her deceased son becomes even more personal.
Adding intense momentum to the storyline are new formidable adversaries that push Vijay to his ultimate limits. Jaideep Ahlawat enters the franchise as Rajveer Singh Tomar, a sharp SP in the Crime Branch who systematically re-examines the case to poke holes in Vijay’s past statements.
Concurrently, Prakash Raj joins the cast as a high-profile lawyer who brings severe legal pressure onto the Salgaonkar household. Surrounded by strict law enforcement, new legal threats, and resurfacing evidence, Vijay is forced to formulate his final and most dangerous strategy yet to protect his wife Nandini and their daughters. The trailer promises an edge-of-the-seat cat-and-mouse game that tests how far a father will go when his family’s freedom hangs in the balance.
