Bollywood’s popular filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently paid a visit to the beautiful home of ace music composer Mithoon and celebrated singer Palak Muchhal for her highly popular celebrity cooking vlog series. During her visit, the musical couple gave Farah an extensive and intimate tour of their minimal yet sophisticated Mumbai residence, which they moved into shortly after their wedding over three years ago. While Farah was deeply impressed by the calm, cozy aesthetic of the house, featuring a stunning central chandelier, a moving bar trolley, and warm chocolate-brown furniture, it was Palak’s massive, high-end walk-in wardrobe that completely stole the show. The expansive space looked no less than a high-end luxury showroom, neatly packed with designer clothes, an impressive array of bags, shoes, and a professional vanity mirror equipped with bright studio lighting. Completely awestruck by the sheer scale of the room, Farah jokingly compared the space to the iconic Harrods department store in London and confessed that a closet exactly like this is something she has desperately wanted in her own house for a very long time.
Upon hearing Palak reveal that her husband Mithoon had personally envisioned and custom-designed the entire room from scratch specifically to accommodate her large collection of outfits and accessories, Farah could not hold back her excitement. The choreographer immediately drew a romantic comparison to the famous series Sex and the City, where a husband famously builds a dream closet for his wife as a grand gesture, though Mithoon humbly clarified that he had not taken any inspiration from television and simply wanted to gift something special to his partner. Blown away by the sweet gesture, Farah turned directly toward the camera to deliver a hilariously blunt and playful ultimatum to her own husband, filmmaker Shirish Kunder. She quipped that this was easily the nicest thing any man could do for his wife and loudly asked if Shirish was listening, telling him to get out of their bedroom so that she could cut the room completely in half and build a matching luxury closet for herself and her daughters, who would absolutely love it. The entertaining episode concluded on a warm note as Palak and Mithoon shared insights into their decade-long journey from meeting during the recording of Aashiqui 2 to getting married in 2022, right before treating Farah to a healthy bowl of homemade mushroom soup.
