An evening of celebration and inspiration unfolded as personalities like Nagma Mirajkar, Irshad Kamil, Pushkar Jog and Rupali Suri gathered to be part of filmmaker Sunil Kothari’s NexGen Leadership Awards. The event brought together a vibrant mix of artists, creators and industry professionals celebrating not just achievements but the dedication and perseverance behind them.
One of the standout moments of the night was the unveiling of the poster for Sunil Kothari’s upcoming film Avyaan offering guests a glimpse into his next creative venture and adding excitement to the occasion.
The awards honoured talent across multiple categories. Sunil Kothari himself was recognised with the Legacy Excellence Award while Pushkar Jog earned accolades for his performance in Human Cocaine. Irshad Kamil was celebrated for his lyrics in Saiyaara and Nagma Mirajkar was titled Trendsetter of the Year.
Rising talents also received their due recognition. Eshika Dey was awarded Breakthrough Performer of the Year (OTT & Films) while Vinod Sam Peter won Visionary Director for Puglya. Anusmriti Sarkar was honoured as Most Promising Actress and Nibedita Basu received The Content Disruptor Award.
The evening also saw Krishna Gautam being recognised for Best Performance in a Music Video while Nabil Parkar was named Fresh Face of the Year. Celebrity photographer Varinder Chawla was applauded as Bollywood’s Lens Legend and Nilesh Choudhari received recognition for his work in Dhurandhar. Rupali Suri was honoured as Dynamic Talent of the Year (Films & OTT). Among the attendees was also Rajesh Kumar, adding to the diverse presence at the event.
Speaking about the vision behind the awards Sunil Kothari shared that the platform is deeply personal to him as it aims to spotlight individuals whose consistent efforts shape the industry both on-screen and behind the scenes.
