The acclaimed filmmaker, widely known for directing blockbuster hit movies like Phool Aur Kaante and launching superstar Ajay Devgn’s career, passed away on August 25 at the age of 77 following a cardiac arrest. Held at the Celebration Sports Club in Andheri West, the prayer service saw family, friends, and industry colleagues assemble to celebrate his life, offer prayers, and extend heartfelt condolences to his grieving loved ones.
The most poignant moments of the afternoon centered around Kuku Kohli’s wife, veteran actress Aruna Irani, who was visibly emotional and overwhelmed with grief upon her arrival.
