Today’s episode begins with Mogra thinking about Lajwanti’s words while she is about to eat watermelon late at night. Ashish wakes up and asks her what happened and why she is eating watermelon so late at night. Mogra lies and says she has been very stressed about money and could not sleep so she thought eating watermelon might help her sleep.
Ashish says Lajwanti has already said she will arrange the money so she should not take stress because everything will be fine. He goes back to sleep. Mogra thinks that she knows what will happen to her after eating watermelon but she has to do what Lajwanti told her. She then eats the watermelon.
Mogra Gets Hospitalized
After some time Ashish calls Mahadev and the whole family for help. He tells them that Mogra has become unconscious. Everyone gets shocked and rushes to check on her. They become terrified after seeing allergy marks on her body. They immediately take Mogra to the hospital.
The doctor asks whether Mogra ate anything from outside. Rajji says she saw chopped watermelon in Ashish’s room so maybe Mogra ate it. Dheeraj asks Rajji to stop doubting Mogra all the time and questions what she is trying to prove.
Narmada secretly tells Rajji that there was no watermelon in the house so where did it come from at night? Mahadev asks Ashish whether he informed Mogra’s in-laws.
Lajwanti Blames Mahadev
Lajwanti arrives at the hospital and asks what happened to Mogra and where she is. The nurse informs her that Mogra has been admitted to the ICU.
Lajwanti immediately starts blaming Mahadev and his family. She says only a few hours have passed since Mogra and Ashish’s marriage yet Mogra is already in the ICU. She reminds Mahadev that he promised to treat Mogra like his own daughter and questions what they did to her.
Lajwanti creates emotional drama and says nothing ever happened to Mogra in her maternal home but after coming to her in-laws house she landed in the ICU. Mahadev tries to calm her down and says many problems happened during Ashish and Mogra’s marriage and Mogra was already stressed so maybe her health got affected because of that. Vidya also tells Lajwanti not to worry because the doctors are treating Mogra and she will recover soon.
However Lajwanti refuses to calm down. She says she is Mogra’s mother and every day newspapers and television channels report cases of newly married brides being tortured or burned for dowry. She says she thought Mahadev’s family was decent and respectable which is why she agreed to the marriage. She asks Ashish whether he had an argument with Mogra.
Narmada tells Lajwanti that her concern for Mogra is understandable but that does not mean she can accuse everyone without proof. Lajwanti insults Narmada and says she should not speak about relationships because she herself ran away from home. She says someone who never fulfilled responsibilities towards parents can never understand the bond between a mother and daughter.
Vidya asks Lajwanti to stay calm and says they should wait for the doctor’s report because everyone in the family is worried about Mogra since she is their daughter-in-law.
Doctor Reveals the Reason Behind Mogra’s Condition
The doctor comes out and informs the family that Mogra suffered severe rashes and swelling because she ate watermelon. The doctors have controlled the allergy for now and once she regains consciousness they can meet her.
Lajwanti pretends to act shocked and innocent. She says Mogra has been allergic to watermelon since she was twelve years old and would never willingly eat it. She tells once during childhood Mogra ate watermelon and almost lost her life because of the reaction. Since then she has never eaten watermelon again.
Mogra Blames Ashish
Later Mogra regains consciousness and the family goes to meet her. Lajwanti asks Mogra whether she forgot that she is allergic to watermelon and questions why she ate it.
Vidya gently asks if she forgot about her allergy. Mogra says she knew about her allergy but Ashish lovingly cut watermelon for her and offered it with so much love that she could not refuse him. She also says Ashish had no idea watermelon was like poison for her.
Lajwanti suddenly changes her behavior and starts apologizing to everyone. She says in anger she spoke wrongly to them and asks for forgiveness. She also apologized to Narmada for insulting her earlier. Lajwanti says Ashish loves Mogra madly and because of that Mogra would even drink poison if Ashish gave it to her. She asks Ashish to always take care of Mogra.
Vidya assures her that Mogra will recover completely and everything will become normal again.
Rajji Becomes Suspicious
Later Rajji tells Narmada that something strange is happening between Ashish and Dheeraj. She say her there was no watermelon in the house she saw Mogra secretly carried watermelon to her room late at night. Rajji feels Mogra brought it from outside herself.
Rajji also says this watermelon matter is directly connected to Ashish and Dheeraj because ever since Mogra’s introduction ceremony both brothers have been communicating through gestures and constantly looking stressed. She feels they are hiding a huge secret from the family.
Rajji says secrets are like poison because they slowly destroy families from inside. She decides that if Ashish and Dheeraj refuse to tell the truth then she herself will uncover it.
Mogra Returns Home
The next day Ashish and Mahadev bring Mogra back home from the hospital. Mahadev tells Mogra to take proper care of her diet and medicines. Mogra says she is fine and can manage all the household chores.
Mahadev refuses and tells her there are enough people in the house to handle the work. He asks her to take rest and reminds Ashish that it is now his responsibility to take care of Mogra. Rajji notices that Dheeraj still looks stressed.
Mogra Manipulates Ashish
Later Ashish asks Mogra whether she is fine. Mogra starts emotionally manipulating him. She apologizes and says she should not have said in front of everyone that he gave her watermelon. She says she could not reveal the truth everyone.
Ashish blames himself and says everything happened because of him. He says he understands why she ate the watermelon. Mogra says she has not even spent a few days in the house yet and has already become a problem for everyone. She says her family could not arrange the money and because of that stress she decided to eat watermelon and end her life.
Ashish feels guilty and says he should never have pressured her. He calls himself a terrible husband who could not even handle a small issue properly.Mogra tells him that she is fortunate to have a husband who loves her so much.
Dheeraj Wants to Reveal the Truth
Dheeraj knocks on Ashish’s room and asks him to come outside. Rajji secretly notices both of them leaving together.
Dheeraj tells Ashish that Saran has been repeatedly calling and messaging him asking when they will return the money. He asks what they are planning to do now.
Ashish says this is not the right time to discuss money because Mogra has just returned from the verge of death. He say that Mogra intentionally ate watermelon because her family failed to arrange the money.
Dheeraj becomes shocked and says this is a serious matter. He insists they should immediately tell the truth to their family. He also says the burden of ten lakh rupees is not their responsibility but Mogra’s family’s responsibility. He asks Ashish to come with him so they can tell Lajwanti and the rest of the family everything.
However Ashish refuses. He says if the truth reaches Mogra’s family then all the blame will eventually fall on Mogra and he cannot see her under more stress. Dheeraj says that he also cannot watch his family suffer. He says Mahadev trusts him the most and if Saran reveals the truth to Mahadev then his heart will break.
Dheeraj says it’s Mogra’s family and he does not want Mahadev to suffer because of it. Ashish refuses to speak either to Mahadev or Mogra’s family. Dheeraj loses patience and says he himself will talk to Mogra’s family. The brothers start arguing.
Dheeraj says if Mogra’s family is wealthy then why are they unable to return ten lakh rupees. He says he will not allow his family to suffer because of someone else’s problem. Ashish defends Mogra’s family and says they must be facing some helpless situation.
Rajji Learns the Truth
Rajji secretly overhears their entire conversation and becomes shocked. At that moment Vidya arrives and asks why the brothers are fighting. Dheeraj lies and says the mistake is his. Vidya asks Dheeraj if he is hiding something but he denies it.
Rajji Decides to Help Ashish and Dheeraj
Later Rajji tells Narmada the truth that Ashish and Dheeraj secretly took a loan from Saran for Ashish and Mogra’s marriage and now they are unable to repay it.
Rajji says she already suspected that Lajwanti was very cunning she managed to get Mogra married without spending even a single rupee.
Rajji worries that if Mahadev learns the truth all the blame will fall on Dheeraj. Narmada says Dheeraj only wanted to help his brother and never thought he would get trapped in Lajwanti’s game.
Rajji says Dheeraj works hard every day to earn Mahadev’s respect and she cannot let him lose this chance . She decides she will help both Ashish and Dheeraj and will not allow ten lakh rupees to create a rift between the brothers.
Precap: Mogra tells Rajji that seeing her no one would believe she was fighting between life and death just a short while ago.
Mogra says she has understood her real game and she says Mahadev will now have only one son in the family and that will be Ashish.
Rajji challenges Mogra and says she is standing against her. She warns Mogra that she will see whether her evil plans succeed whether this family breaks apart or whether truth wins and destroys Mogra’s arrogance.
