Today’s episode begins with Mahadev asking Vidya to listen carefully. He says neither Vidya nor any other woman in the house needs to contribute financially because the men of the family will take care of all the household expenses.
Vidya asks if he thinks women cannot earn money and cannot contribute to the family’s expenses. Mahadev says earning money is not something women can do. He says men look good when they earn money.
Vidya Challenge Mahadev
Vidya thanks him for telling her this bitter truth. She says she does not need to work because she is one of the owners of the house. However just to prove him wrong she will now go out, work and earn money.
She tells Mahadev he always believes he is right but now she will prove him wrong by earning with her own hard work.
Lajwanti Encourages Mogra to Divide the Family
Later Mogra calls Lajwanti. She says she only wanted to target Ketan, Narmada Rajji and Dheeraj but the fight that happened in the house made everything even more enjoyable.
Lajwanti tells her to keep adding fuel to the fire. She says the more fights happen inside the house the stronger her control over the family will become. She says then she will easily throw Rajji and Narmada out of the house.
Rajji Warns Lajwanti
Just then Rajji comes there snatches the phone from Mogra and tells Lajwanti not to worry. She says just as she exposed them once before she will expose her again.
Narmada says this time they will not forgive Mogra and will throw her out of the house. Rajji throws Mogra’s phone away.
Mogra Humiliates Rajji and Narmada
Mogra says Narmada is useless and her husband Ketan is unemployed and good for nothing. She says if Mahadev had not given Ketan work at the rice mill he would have been wandering around looking for a job.
She says they should not compare themselves with her. Mogra says only the person who earns money has the right to speak in this house because Ketan earns nothing.
She calls Rajji Labour’s wife and asks why she does not go back to her old job. She says Dheeraj already has no respect in the family and if Rajji starts working again people will laugh at him even more.
Mogra Mocks Rajji and Narmada
Mogra taunts Dheeraj and will be known as a man living on his wife’s earnings. Rajji angrily tells Mogra to stay within her limits.
Mogra says Rajji can break as many phones as she wants because Ashish is now the new earning grandson of the family and he will buy her a new one.
After saying this Mogra leaves. Narmada becomes emotional. Rajji tells her not to pay attention to Mogra’s words.
Narmada Opens Up to Ketan
Later Ketan asks Narmada why she created a scene. He says there is already tension between Vidya and Mahadev and this will only make things worse.
Narmada says she fell in love with him because of his honesty. She says he never hid his weaknesses from her. she says the world is not so simple or honest.
She says Ketan did nothing wrong by joining Mahadev’s business but the world thinks he is useless. People believe he only survives because of Mahadev and depends on the family.
Narmada asks Ketan if Mogra’s words really did not hurt him. She asks him to answer honestly if it did not feel insulting when Mogra questioned his ability to earn.
Rajji Supports Vidya’s Decision
Meanwhile Vidya is preparing her CV with the help of AI. Dheeraj sees her and asks why she is taking daughter-in-law’s words so seriously. He says she does not need to work.
Rajji comes there and says Vidya must work because It is about Vidya’s self-respect. Rajji tells Vidya she knows Vidya neither considers her a daughter-in-law nor a daughter.
Rajji Motivates Vidya
Rajji says she still considers Vidya her mother and also her role model. She says Vidya is a strong and independent woman and she wants to help her prove that to everyone.
Rajji says even if Vidya refuses her help she will still stand by her. She says she wants to support Vidya in her fight for her rights and self-respect.
Dheeraj says he wants to speak with Rajji privately and asks her to come with him.
Dheeraj confront Rajji
Later Dheeraj asks Rajji why she is encouraging Vidya. He says this will only create more distance between Vidya and Mahadev.
Rajji says Vidya and Mahadev’s relationship can improve only when Mahadev starts respecting Vidya. She says Mahadev’s words clearly showed he takes Vidya for granted.
Rajji says she does not believe Vidya is incapable of earning money. She explains that two people can live together only when they respect each other but right now Mahadev does not even trust Vidya.
Rajji Explains Vidya’s Pain
Rajji tells Dheeraj Mahadev called Vidya useless even after she spent 25 years taking care of the family. Rajji says she completely understands Vidya’s pain.
She says Vidya is talking about working because she is strong not because she is helpless. Until Vidya proves herself in front of everyone especially Mahadev she will continue feeling broken from inside.
Rajji says she does not want Vidya to lose herself. She adds Vidya has not lost Mahadev. Instead Mahadev has lost Vidya. Rajji tells Dheeraj that if he truly wants Mahadev and Vidya to reunite then he must help Vidya.
She says this is not an ordinary fight. It is a fight for Vidya’s self-respect.
Narmada Hides Her Pain
Later that night Narmada remembers Mogra’s hurtful words. Rajji comes to her. Narmada quickly hides her tears.
Rajji says after a long time she and Dheeraj are finally agreeing in the same way. She says they will both help Vidya complete the challenge she accepted from Mahadev.
Narmada Wants Ketan to Take a Stand
Rajji notices Narmada’s sadness and asks what happened. Narmada says Mogra’s words are hurting her deeply. Rajji tells her not to care about Mogra’s comments.
Narmada says the words did not hurt only her. They also hurt Ketan but he neither wants to talk about it nor express his feelings.
She says Ketan never wants to hurt anyone in the family but while protecting everyone else’s feelings he is hurting himself. Narmada says she wants Ketan to take a stand and speak openly.
She says a wife’s respect depends on her husband’s respect and today she realised how little respect Ketan receives in the family.
Vidya Refuses to Stay Silent
Later Vidya gives Mahadev his medicine.
Mahadev asks if her wish to work has ended. Vidya says her fever of being the ideal housewife may be over may be gone but her desire to earn money and earn respect through her own hard work has not ended.
She says the world does not value housewives because nowadays a person’s worth is connected to money. Mahadev says Vidya already has value and importance in this family.
Ketan Makes a New Promise
Later Ketan looks worried. He apologises to Narmada. He says every wife wants her husband to earn money and earn respect for the family. He admits he could give her neither respect nor financial security.
Narmada says she already has everything she wanted in a life partner. Ketan says she is only saying that to make him feel better. Deep inside she must regret marrying a loser.
Narmada says he is a winner in her eyes and she is happy with him. Ketan promises that from today onwards he will stop listening to what others say about him.
He says he will prove himself earn money outside the house and earn respect with his own hard work. He reveals that he has already thought of a plan. Narmada looks confused.
Vidya Take A Stand
Mahadev tells her she gave 25 years to this house and now others will earn while she simply stays home and rests. Vidya says housewives never retire.
She says she did not retire by her own choice. She was pushed away from her responsibilities and her place in the family. She says she will never live on anyone’s sympathy kindness or charity.
Precap: Vidya gets ready to go for a job. Mahadev asks where she is going. Vidya says him made the rule that every member of the family should contribute to the household expenses so why should she step back now?
Dheeraj and Rajji decide that if they want to reunite Vidya and Mahadev they must first bring them together.
