Today’s episode starts with Dhairya telling Mannat that he cannot tolerate anyone trying to snatch Dua away from him. He says no one else can call Dua their daughter because he cannot bear that truth. Dua overhears their conversation and gets confused. She wonders why Dhairya is speaking like this and who is trying to separate her from him.
Just then Mannat receives a call from the lawyer and learns that she has been summoned to court tomorrow for the hearing. She informs Dhairya about it. Dhairya asks whether the judge might announce the final decision the next day. Mannat says she also feels the verdict may come tomorrow but she asks him not to worry because she is confident the decision will be in her favor. She then asks whether he will come with her and Dhairya agrees.
Dua becomes even more confused after hearing everything. She wonders why Mannat and Dhairya are talking about court and why they both look so worried.
Ronnie Interrupts Before Dua Learns the Truth
Ronnie arrives and asks Dua what she is doing there. Mannat and Dhairya get scared thinking that Dua may have overheard everything. Ronnie notices medicine in Dua’s hand and asks what happened. Dua lies and says she fell while playing and got hurt so she came to ask Mannat for help applying medicine to her wounds.
Ronnie says he will apply the medicine himself and takes her away from there. After Dua leaves Mannat admits that for a moment she truly thought Dua had heard everything.
Vikrant Worries About His Relationship with Mannat
The next morning Vikrant asks Kumar why the court hearing was urgently scheduled. Kumar says he has no idea. Vikrant then asks about Neetu and Kumar informs him that she is not home. Vikrant checks his phone and reads Neetu’s message saying she has gone to the Gurudwara with Yashika to pray for victory in the case.
Vikrant tells Kumar that this court case is already creating problems between him and Mannat and he does not want things to get worse. He says he needs to talk to Mannat. At that moment Akshay calls Vikrant and informs him that they have found Aishwarya Rai Singh alive. He says the police are going to arrest her but need someone for identification so Vikrant must immediately come to the police station. He also says some office documents need Vikrant’s signature.
Vikrant quickly agrees unaware that this is actually Yashika and Neetu’s trap to stop him from reaching court on time. Akshay secretly gives a thumbs-up to Yashika. Yashika asks Neetu whether she is sure Vikrant will not tell the court anything. Neetu confidently says that Vikrant loves Mannat deeply and will never increase her troubles because she is already stressed due to the custody case.
Vikrant Rushes to Protect Mannat and Dua
Meanwhile Vikrant thinks that if Aishwarya is truly alive then she may try to harm Mannat and Dua again. He says Mannat is already disturbed and he cannot let Aishwarya hurt them anymore. He promises that this time he will not spare Aishwarya if she tries to attack Mannat or Dua again.
Vikrant asks Kumar to somehow delay the court proceedings until he returns because he urgently needs to go to the police station.
Dua Secretly Follows Mannat and Dhairya
At home Dhairya bandages Dua’s hand and thanks her for not telling Mannat about the kidnapping incident. Mannat asks Bunty and Dua to have breakfast and tells them not to trouble Ronnie because they will return soon.
Dua says she feels tired and wants to rest. Mannat says such a small injury cannot stop her from moving around and asks what happened. Dua insists that she is fine and says she will rest so she can recover quickly.Ronnie informs Mannat that the cab has arrived and Mannat leaves with him.
Dhairya gives medicine to Dua and notices that she looks upset. He comforts her and says that as long as he is with her no one can even touch her. Dua emotionally replies that she always remembers him whenever she gets scared because he is her strength and her superhero.
Dhairya lovingly tells her that if he ever feels scared he also remembers her because she is his favorite person in the world. He says she is his entire world and nothing can harm him as long as she stays beside him. He hugs her before leaving.
Dua Hides in the Car Trunk
After Dhairya leaves Dua tells Bunty that she needs his help. She asks him to hide under the blanket so everyone thinks she is sleeping. Bunty asks why and Dua explains that she wants to follow Mannat and Dhairya because they are hiding something important from her.
As Dua prepares to follow them she suddenly notices Vikrant nearby and hides behind a car. Vikrant feels suspicious and checks around but when he sees nobody there he leaves. Dua secretly hides inside Dhairya’s car trunk and decides that she must find out what Mannat and Dhairya are hiding and what is happening in court.
Meanwhile Ronnie enters the bedroom and asks Dua to drink hot milk. Bunty becomes terrified that Ronnie may discover him hiding under the blanket but Ronnie assumes Dua is sleeping because she is tired and quietly leaves the room. Bunty prays that Dua does not land in trouble.
Mannat Feels Dua’s Presence at Court
Meanwhile Mannat reaches the court. Dua also comes out of the trunk but accidentally hurts her hand and cries out in pain.
At the same moment Mannat suddenly feels Dua’s presence nearby. Dua quickly controls herself and thinks that she cannot react over a small wound because she is Dhairya’s strong daughter. Before Mannat can spot her Dhairya asks Mannat what happened. Mannat says it felt like Dua called out to her. Dhairya assures her that Dua cannot possibly be there because she is resting at home.
Mannat says Dua was speaking strangely earlier and she felt as though Dua was scared. She says she wants the hearing to end quickly so she can return to Dua because leaving her alone does not feel right.
Dhairya starts feeling guilty and thinks that hiding the kidnapping truth from Mannat may be wrong. He decides he should finally tell her everything but before he can speak the lawyer arrives and informs them that the court hearing is about to begin.
Neetu Lies to the Judge About Vikrant
Inside the courtroom Dhairya tries to calm himself and tells Mannat that everything will be fine. He apologizes for all his mistakes and says he is ashamed of them. He admits that he is terrified of losing his family.
Mannat emotionally replies that she also fears losing her family especially when it comes to Dua because they both love her deeply. She says that after today’s court decision nobody will be able to snatch Dua away from them. The two promise to stand by each other.
The judge then asks where Vikrant is. Neetu lies and says that Vikrant got stuck with some important work and could not come to court. The judge angrily asks what work could possibly be more important than his daughter’s custody hearing. Neetu says Vikrant cares more about others than himself and had to help a friend in need so he left. She claims she has come on his behalf.
Mannat becomes worried and wonders why Vikrant has not arrived.
Vikrant Learns About the Trap
At the police station Vikrant says he came to identify Aishwarya. However the inspector informs him that no such report was ever filed.
Back in court the judge announces that after carefully studying the case the court has decided that Dua’s custody cannot remain with both parents and must be given to only one guardian.
Neetu immediately tries speaking in Vikrant’s favor but the judge stops her and warns her not to interrupt. Even Vikrant’s lawyer signals Neetu to remain silent. When Neetu interrupts again the judge gives her a final warning and says she is avoiding contempt charges only because of her seniority. Mannat becomes suspicious and wonders what exactly Neetu is trying to do.
Meanwhile the inspector tells Vikrant that the phone call he received came from a fake identity and was only meant to distract him. The inspector asks whether there is somewhere important he was supposed to be. Vikrant instantly realizes it was all a trap and rushes toward the court.
Court Announces Dua’s Custody Verdict
The judge states that Vikrant acted irresponsibly earlier as well and that his absence today proves nothing has changed. She says Dua has been raised by Mannat since birth and does not even know that Vikrant is her biological father. Therefore the court initially feels custody should remain with Mannat but both sides must still be heard properly before the final decision.
At the same time Dua struggles to find Mannat and Dhairya inside the court building. She overhears a man begging a lawyer not to separate him from his child. Dua becomes confused and wonders what kind of place this is and why Mannat and Dhairya came there.
Finally the judge announces the shocking decision that Dua’s custody will be given to Vikrant. Mannat and Dhairya are left stunned while Neetu becomes overjoyed. Mannat emotionally protests and asks how the court can separate a daughter from her mother.
Mannat Defends Dhairya in Court
The judge says she will explain the reason behind the decision but first Mannat must answer some questions. Mannat agrees and says she is ready to answer everything but she first wants to know why the court is snatching Dua away from her and giving custody to Vikrant the same man who broke all ties with her and insulted her character.
The judge asks why Mannat is willing to risk Dua’s future by placing her life in Dhairya’s hands. Mannat and Dhairya are shocked. Mannat strongly defends Dhairya and says Dua belongs to him just as much as she belongs to her. She says Dhairya took care of Dua and Vikrant’s parents for seven years without expecting anything in return and to her he is family.
She explains that society may not recognize their relationship because they are not married but she herself grew up in an unconventional family. She says her biological mother Aishwarya tried to kill her while Shruti raised her with love like a real mother.
Mannat says families are not built through legal documents but through love and the same love exists between Dua and Dhairya. She adds that such a bond can also exist between Dua and Vikrant but Dua is still too young to suddenly learn that Vikrant is her biological father.
She accuses Vikrant of using the court only to snatch Dua away from her even though he had promised to give her time before revealing the truth to Dua.
The Kidnapping Video Changes Everything
The judge asks whether Dua will continue living with Dhairya until then. Mannat says Dhairya is a good man who has always protected Dua. The judge then questions whether Mannat truly trusts Dhairya enough to give Dua a secure future with him.
Mannat firmly replies that she trusts Dhairya more than herself. The judge then says that this is exactly why the court is giving custody to Vikrant instead. Mannat is left confused.
The judge orders a video to be played in court. She tells Mannat that while she may wish to repay Dhairya’s loyalty she cannot risk Dua’s future for that reason. If she tries to do so then it becomes the court’s responsibility to intervene because Dua’s father himself sought legal help.
The kidnapping video of Dua is then played in front of everyone. Dhairya is completely shocked and immediately shouts that the video is fake. He insists he never did anything like that. However Vikrant’s lawyer claims Dhairya is a corrupt police officer and says the court can clearly see the evidence.
Dhairya emotionally argues that Neetu framed him because she hates him. He says he served her more than his own mother yet this is what she gave him in return.
Precap: The judge says the court always takes decisions while keeping the child’s welfare in mind and therefore Dua’s custody is officially granted to Vikrant.
Dua overhears the verdict and breaks down. She screams that everyone is lying because Vikrant is not her father Dhairya is her real father. She tightly hugs Dhairya. Moments later Dua almost gets hit by Vikrant’s car but Vikrant rushes forward and saves her from the accident.
