Today’s episode begins with the judge warning Vikrant and saying that first he made a girl pregnant and then abandoned her. Now he is trying to take custody of the child. The judge says he should be ashamed of himself. The judge then announces that the court is adjourned and the remaining hearing will happen on the next date.
Mannat leaves the court with Ronnie. Neetu tries to talk to them but they ignore her and walk away. Neetu tells Vikrant not to worry because everything will be fine. Meanwhile yashika thinks that everything is going perfectly according to her plan due to Dua Vikrant and Mannat will never come close again and will instead become enemies and this will help her return to Vikrant’s life.
Vikrant Confronts Mannat
Vikrant and Mannat return home. Dhariya sees them and wonders what happened in court. He thinks maybe Mannat got pressured by Vikrant’s arguments and agreed to his demands.
Vikrant stops Mannat and confronts her. He asks how she could say such things about him in court. He reminds her that whatever happened on their wedding day was not his fault and how she accused him of not being worthy of becoming Dua’s father.
Mannat says she did not say anything wrong because he is trying to snatch her daughter away from her. She says he is behaving shamelessly and still expects her to stay silent. Mannat tells him she no longer trusts him at all. Whatever trust he has built over the few days is now broken completely.
She angrily says that he keeps making mistakes and everyone keeps forgiving him while the rest of them suffer because of his actions. Mannat reminds him that he is not the only one who feels pain because others also have emotions and lives of their own. She firmly declares that she will never hand Dua over to him.
Mannat then questions how she can respect a man who insulted his own brother in a crowded courtroom.
Vikrant Defends Himself
Vikrant asks what wrong he said in court. He says he only stated the truth that Dhariya is trying to become a part of Mannat and Dua’s life permanently. Mannat replies that Dhariya became part of their lives only because Vikrant was absent.
At that moment Neetu interferes and says Mannat knows very well that Vikrant never willingly broke his relationship with her. He was misled with lies. However she says that does not mean Mannat should now form a relationship with Dhariya.
Both Mannat and Vikrant get shocked hearing Neetu’s statement. Vikrant immediately tells Neetu not to say such things. He firmly says that no matter what happens he will never hear a single wrong word against Mannat and Dhariya’s relationship.
Mannat Warns Neetu and vikrant
Neetu says she knows very well what kind of relationship Mannat and Dhariya share. She says for seven years she has watched Dhariya take care of her, Ronnie, Dua and Mannat. He loved Dua like a father and supported the family in every situation.
However Neetu clarifies that Dhariya can remain in Dua’s life as her uncle and elder guardian but not as her father because Dua’s real father is Vikrant. She says Mannat and Dhariya never actually shared a husband-wife relationship. They only stayed together for Dua’s sake so society would not question Dua’s birth and so the child would never feel the absence of a father.
Neetu says the circumstances were different back then so they did what they thought was right. But now that Vikrant has returned Dua deserves to live with her real father. Mannat refuses immediately and says every decision related to Dua will be taken only by her because she is Dua’s mother. She then leaves angrily.
Neetu determination
Neetu tells Vikrant not to lose hope because Mannat still wants to stay with him. She says Mannat is only angry right now but soon both Mannat and Dua will return to him. Vikrant silently leaves.
Neetu then notices Dhariya . She warns him not to celebrate too early because the final court decision is still pending. Dhariya confidently replies that the judgment will come in his favor because Mannat and Dua are his family and will always stay with him.
Neetu says he still does not understand her properly because she can cross any limit for Vikrant’s happiness. She reminds him that Vikrant is her son and Dua is like her daughter of dhariya
Dhariya replies that Dua is actually his daughter in many ways because although Vikrant is her biological father Dhariya was present since her birth. He says Dua also shares a blood connection with him because she is his brother’s daughter. He emotionally declares that Dua is his child too before walking away.
Neetu says that if blood relations matter so much then Dua will eventually stay only with Vikrant.
Dua’s Gift Makes Vikrant Emotional
Vikrant sits alone remembering Mannat’s harsh words and accusations in court. He regrets filing the custody case and thinks that while trying to gain Dua he may end up losing Mannat forever.
Just then Dua comes there and covers his eyes playfully. Vikrant instantly recognizes her. Dua asks how he identified her so quickly. Vikrant almost says that it is because she is his daughter but stops himself and instead says it is because she is his best friend. Dua excitedly shows him her summer camp project. Vikrant becomes emotional seeing it. Dua says she first wanted to show the project to him because he saved her life. She says she wanted to make him a special gift before leaving. Dua tells him that Dhariya will always remain her all-time superhero but Vikrant is also very special to her. Vikrant hugs Dua tightly and gets emotional. He says it is the best gift of his life and he cannot explain how happy he feels at that moment. Dua then says she will now show the project to Mannat and Dhariya before leaving.
After she goes Vikrant thanks God for sending Dua into his life. He realizes that all the love and respect Dua has for him is because of Mannat’s upbringing. Feeling guilty he decides to apologize to Mannat for filing the court case.
Vikrant Apologizes To Mannat
Mannat in stress is cooking in the kitchen when Vikrant arrives. She notices him and gets irritated. Vikrant quietly starts helping her.
He apologizes sincerely. Meanwhile Mannat is cutting vegetables carelessly and Vikrant gets scared that she might cut her finger. He quickly stops her. Mannat pushes him away sarcastically and asks if he really cares for her. Vikrant replies that yes he truly does and always will. Mannat calls him a hypocrite because on one side he says he does not want to hurt her while on the other side he is trying to separate Dua from her.
Vikrant explains that he filed the case because he had no other option left. Mannat questions why he acted great in front of her and Dhariya earlier if he eventually wanted to drag them to court anyway. Vikrant says everything he told her earlier was from his heart but he does not trust Dhariya because he believes Dhariya is trying to separate him from her and Dua and turn her and Dua against him.
Mannat immediately asks him whether he trusts her or not. Vikrant reminds her that she hid the truth about Dua from him. Mannat replies that at that time they had already decided to separate forever and never meet again. Later when he found out the truth she believed they would handle the situation maturely together.
However she is shocked when Vikrant openly admits that he does not trust his own brother Dhariya.
Precap: Mannat says that now the matter has reached the court so the court itself should decide everything. However she promises one thing clearly as long as she is alive Dhariya will never leave Dua’s life because Dhariya is Dua’s “Baba” and will always remain so.
She tells Vikrant that if he truly considers himself Dua’s real father then he should think about Dua’s happiness first.
