Popular Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly has openly expressed his frustration over the repeated production delays surrounding his upcoming Tamil film Benz, directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and presented as part of the acclaimed Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). Speaking during a promotional interview for his recent Malayalam release Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, the actor revealed that he has been contractually bound to maintain his specific beard and hairstyle for nearly a year due to continuous scheduling shifts. Nivin, who steps into a menacing negative role named Twin Fish Walter opposite Raghava Lawrence in the film, shared that while he completed his initial filming schedule late last year, around 30 to 35 days of crucial shooting still remain pending. Because continuity is strictly required for his character in Benz, the star has been forced to carry the exact same facial hair appearance across all his recent Malayalam projects, including Sarvam Maya, Prathichaya, and Bethlehem Kudumba Unit.
Admitting that he is exhausted from constantly following up with the production team without seeing any concrete progress, Nivin humorously appealed to the makers during the interview, asking them to make a final decision and wrap up his remaining portions so he can freely experiment with new looks for his future commitments.
