The Bollywood film industry is currently witnessing an intense wave of debates and discussions revolving around superstar Ranveer Singh. While the actor has been celebrating a massive career high with the phenomenal success of his film Dhurandhar, he has simultaneously found himself entangled in a massive controversy following his abrupt exit from Farhan Akhtar’s highly anticipated action franchise movie Don 3. Amid the mixed reactions pouring in from different sections of the entertainment world, prominent film producer Prerna Arora has boldly stepped forward to voice her unconditional support for the actor, publicly stating that the immense backlash directed at him has been heavily blown out of proportion.

In a candid and exclusive media interaction, Prerna Arora firmly stated that she is standing completely on Ranveer Singh’s side during this turbulent phase. According to the well-known producer, who has successfully backed major Bollywood commercial superhits like Rustom, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and Pari, the actor has unfortunately become an easy and soft target for criticism due to his massive stardom and recent box office triumphs. She suggested that his incredible box office performance, especially after the monumental theatrical success of Dhurandhar, has likely gotten onto a lot of people’s nerves, causing a sudden spike in negative sentiments and professional friction against him inside the industry corridors.

The entire controversy originally ignited when Excel Entertainment approached the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, widely known as the FWICE, with a formal grievance against Ranveer Singh. The production house alleged that the actor walked away from Don 3 just a few weeks before a massive international outdoor shooting schedule was officially set to begin, resulting in sudden and substantial financial losses of approximately forty-five crore rupees that had already been utilized for advanced pre-production, sets, and location scouting. This prompted the federation to initially issue a strict non-cooperation directive against the actor, which was later successfully withdrawn after the active intervention of major media bodies like the Producers Guild of India, CINTAA, and IMPPA.

Reflecting on the public nature of the feud, Prerna Arora emphasized that such intricate professional disagreements should always be sorted out internally rather than cornering a major artist for no valid reason. Backing previous statements made by actress Kangana Ranaut about how high levels of fame naturally invite a fair share of obstacles and enemies, Prerna expressed that the public should be actively celebrating Ranveer’s massive cinematic contributions right now instead of spreading negativity. She concluded her defense by reminding everyone that Ranveer was a certified superstar the day he arrived in the industry and remains a powerhouse performer today who deserves absolute credit for his hard work, making this an inappropriate time for continuous industry criticism.
