Today’s episode begins with Seher telling Fareed as a doctor it is her duty to make sure her patient gets completely better even if she personally feels something against him.
She says if she steps away from Mahid’s case she will never feel worthy of calling herself a doctor.
Seher Requests Fareed
Fareed feels Seher is unable to separate her emotions from Mahid’s case. He says her biggest mistake was getting involved in Mahid’s case in the first place.
Fareed asks how she can treat Mahid fairly if she believes Mahid is responsible for Kausar’s death and still hates him.
Seher says she has never seen a person more fair-minded than Mahid. She says the world knows him for his sense of justice and now it is her turn.
Seher Promises to Treat Mahid
Seher promises that she will be even more fair to Mahid than he has ever been to others. She says getting Mahid is important for her. She admits that she hates him but after seeing how broken he has become her hatred has weaker.
She says when she will stand in front of him and tell him she can never forgive him for taking her mother away. She wants to make sure her hatred does not feel like guilt.
Mahid Attacks Khalid
Meanwhile Mahid is walking on the street when he sees Khalid playing carrom. Mahid breaks the carrom board and starts hitting him.
Khalid asks Mahid what he is doing and tells him to leave him. Mahid says Khalid made big promises in front of everyone that he would keep Nazima happy and protect her.
Now Nazima has disappeared and nobody knows where she is while Khalid is playing carrom and laughing as if nothing happened. Khalid asks Mahid to leave.
Mahid Loses His Temper at Khalid
Mahid says he thinks Khalid is the one who made Nazima disappear. Khalid asks him to leave and warns him that he will call the police. A man tries to stop Mahid. Mahid slaps him for interfering.
Khalid runs away and Mahid follows him. Mahid then bumps into a cage of hens. Seeing the hens reminds him of his first meeting with Seher.
Seher Finds Khalid Injured
Later at the hospital a nurse tells Seher that there is an emergency. Seher goes to check the patient and is shocked to see Khalid.
She notices the marks on his face and says that she should inform the police. Khalid asks her not to call the police and lies that he fell down.
Seher says Nazima is missing and Khalid was playing carrom when he should have been worried about her. She sends a nurse to dress his injuries.
Seher Receives an Engagement Invite
A ward boy gives Seher a note and says someone left it for her. Seher is shocked when she sees her and Mahid’s engagement invitation card.
She wonders who is spreading news about her engagement with Mahid. She says Mahid cannot be behind this so who is doing all this?
Mahid Stunned by the Engagement Invitation
Mahid calls the inspector and asks about Nazima. The inspector says they are searching for her and will inform Mahid as soon as they find her.
Meanwhile Husna says only two days are left and there is still a lot of work to do. Insha says she does not understand what is happening.
A servant brings tea for Mahid. Mahid sees the engagement invitation card on the tray and is shocked. He goes downstairs and asks who got the cards printed. Husna says she did it.
Mahid Confronts Husna
Mahid asks why she needed to do this. Husna says she thought he would be happy. She says Mahid is behaving as if she has committed some crime.
She tells him he was the one who held Seher’s hand and brought her there because he wanted to get engaged to her.
Husna says she will be happy if Mahid gets a life partner and she wants Mahid to get engaged and married soon so that she can bring Seher home as her daughter-in-law.
Mahid Refuses to Get Engaged
Hamki says that Mahid should get engaged and married soon so that he can take Husna home. He says it has already been seven years since Husna left her home.
Mahid says he does not need an engagement to Hamki Husna’s home. He can take her home without it. He says that he is not getting engaged.
Insha says Husna should have asked Mahid before printing the invitations card Husna says she is the elder of the family and does not feel the need to ask anyone before arranging Mahid’s engagement or marriage.
Seher Stuns Everyone with Her Decision
She says the invitations have already reached people. If she takes them back now the family will be insulted and Mahid will also be embarrassed.
Seher comes there and says that the engagement will have to happen. Everyone is shocked. She says the cards have already been printed and people have already been invited.
She asks if they now want to ruin Husna’s respect by cancelling everything. She says only two days are left for the engagement and they have a lot of work to complete.
Mahid Questions Seher
Mahid asks why she is doing this. He reminds her about what happened between them the previous night and asks if she has forgotten it.
Seher holds Mahid’s hand. Mahid controls his anger and Insha notices this. Seher asks why Mahid is discussing their private conversation in front of everyone.
She says they will talk about it alone and take him aside. Insha hits Haider on the leg as a signal to stop Mahid.
Haider Asks About Engagement
Haider stops Mahid and asks whether they are going ahead with the engagement or not. He says there are many people to invite and a lot of work to complete.
Mahid says no. Seher says yes and asks them to start the preparations. Hakim tells Haider that in such matters they should listen to the bride not the groom.
Amal Searches for Seher
Later at the hospital Amal asks a nurse if she has seen Seher. The nurse says Seher has already left. Amal wonders where Seher has gone.
She asks Fareed if he sent Seher somewhere. Fareed says no. Amal says Seher left without even telling her where she was going. Amal sees Sultana and says they need to distract her otherwise she will punish Seher.
Fareed says it is not a good idea because Sultana can be fooled once but not every time. Amal says they have to do something.
Fareed Lies to Sultana
Fareed lies to Sultana and says that if she is going asks about Seher again then he Seher has been sent to the ICU.
Sultana asks if Seher is in the ICU, then who took her permission to go outside? She wonders if this woman is Seher’s twin sister. Flashback reveals that Seher had given Sultana her engagement invitation with Mahid.
Sultana says she had to give Seher leave otherwise Amal and Fareed would have kept questioning her about it. In the present Sultana says she does not understand why she always has to become the villain in their story. She leaves.
Mahid Argues with Seher
Meanwhile at the Niyazi mansion Mahid asks Seher what she wants and why she has come there. Seher says she came because she received the engagement invitation.
Mahid asks if she thinks he is so helpless he needs her help to stop engagement. He says she should not worry he will not let the engagement happen.
He tells her if she has some complicated plan in her mind she should throw it away. Seher says she does not want to stop the engagement.
Mahid Stands by His Decision
Mahid asks why. Seher says that Nazima is still missing and could try to harm him again. She worries Nazima may try to poison him or give him some medicine again.
Seher says she wants to stay around Mahid so she can protect him. Mahid asks if she is using another excuse. He says Seher hates him so why has she is worrying about him?
Mahid says she has already done enough for him by saving his life and does not need to do anything more. He says the engagement will not happen.
Seher Tries to Convince Mahid
Seher says invitations have already been distributed across the city. If Mahid refuses to get engaged now his reputation will be damaged.
Mahid says she does not need to worry about her reputation. He says whatever happens to him he will deal with it so she does not need to worry.
He says she now is ready to get engaged just to protect her reputation if some other compulsion forces her to marry him will she agree to that as well?
Seher Gives Mahid a Reason
Mahid says he will not allow anyone to ruin her respect. He promises that if anyone points a finger at her he will not spare that person.
Seher says she was talking about what happened at the hospital. Sultana had already seen the engagement card.
Seher lies as soon as Sultana found out that she was getting engaged to Mahid her behaviour changed. She says Sultana congratulated her and started treating her respectfully.
Mahid Catches Seher’s Lie
Seher says until Sultana presents her report to the medical board they can pretend to be engaged for one month.
Mahid asks how many more lies she will tell. He tells her just yesterday she was saying their worlds were completely different
He says today she melts as soon as Sultana hears his name. Mahid asks her to stop lying. He says he has already decided there will be no engagement
Seher Insists Mahid on the Engagement
Seher asks him not to question or argue with her. She asks him to simply say yes to the engagement for her sake.
Precap: Seher tells Mahid that God wants her to face her old wounds. she says Mahid she wants to visit Kausar’s grave and says she wanted to go with him.
She says she does not have the courage to go there alone. Mahid says he cannot go with her. Seher says perhaps holding on to the wounds of the past is more important for him.
