Today’s episode begins with Seher telling Mahid they have now reached a point where their paths are different. She asks him not to stop her.
Mahid requests her not to do this. He says she should not force him to choose only one path because he cannot do that. Both Mahid and Seher break down.
Mahid Faces People’s Blame
The next day Usman’s Fatiha prayers are held. People gather and begin talking among themselves. They say many respected religious leaders have come. Zafar is also present and it looks like the new Mufti will be chosen today.
One man says for the last seven generations the Mufti has always belonged to the Usman’s family. He cannot believe that this time someone else may become Mufti.
Another person blames Mahid for everything. He says the community had already accepted Mahid as the next Mufti but he failed to protect his respect and position.
Mahid Becomes the Next Mufti
Zafar addresses everyone. He says Usman was not only the Mufti of the city but also his closest friend.
Since Usman is no longer with them it is now their responsibility to choose someone capable of handling the position of Mufti.
He says On behalf of himself and the entire community he announces Mahid’s name for the position.
Haider and Husna are shocked. The crowd also reacts with surprise and questions how Mahid can become Mufti.
Husna thinks that if Zafar Has Taken Mahid’s Name Instead of Haider’s He Must Have a Strong Reason or Mahid Must Have Played a Trump Card. She decides she must change her plans.
The people continue opposing Zafar’s decision and question Mahid’s selection.
Seher Waits for Mahid
Meanwhile Seher and Amal continue keeping an eye on Hussain. Amal feels sleepy and says they should catch him. Seher stops her and says they must stay patient.
She asks Amal to rest for a while. Seher worries because Mahid has still not arrived. A flashback shows Mahid asking Seher to wait for him. He tells her not to go near Hussain until he arrives and only keeps watch on him from a distance.
Mahid Reads Usman’s Final Letter
Back at the gathering Husna suddenly starts supporting Mahid. She says the next Mufti should indeed be Mahid.
The crowd tells everyone Mahid had once opposed Usman and supported Kausar. They call him a traitor and begin protesting against him. Husna quietly smiles.
Just then Mahid arrives. He comes onto the stage and reads a letter written by Usman.
In the letter Usman apologises to everyone. He admits he made a mistake by giving a wrong judgment against Kausar and Seher and says he is ashamed of his decision.
He says he wants society to move forward and believes only someone with new thinking can lead it. Usman writes he wants his grandson Mahid to become his Mufit. He says he fully trusts Mahid and believes he deserves the responsibility. He also blesses him.
Husna is shocked and wonders when Usman wrote the letter. She asks Mahid where he found it.
Mahid Wins People’s Trust
A flashback shows Mahid sitting in Usman’s room praying for guidance. He wonders how he can prove to everyone that he never betrayed Usman. He notices Usman’s written speech.
Back in the present Mahid says this speech was meant to be read by him before everyone but Usman passed away before he could read it himself.
Mahid says anyone who has doubts is free to check the letter. Zafar says he trusts it because only Usman could have written in that style.
Mahid Proves Kausar’s Innocence
Husna changes her behaviour. She says everyone shr agreed with them because she wanted to give Mahid time to prove himself. She says she always believed he was innocent.
Mahid says one important task is still left. He says Kausar’s innocence still needs to be proved. He calls Mushtaq.
Mahid tells when Usman died a piece of Kausar’s cloth was found near him. Everyone believed Kausar had killed Usman. He says the truth is someone deliberately placed the cloth there to frame Kausar.
Mushtaq tells everyone the truth. Zafar apologises to Mahid for misunderstanding him.
Mahid Seeks Help to Find Kausar
Mahid says he has one complaint against society. He says he spent his entire life serving the community but years of trust were destroyed because of one rumour.
The people apologise to Mahid. Mahid says they should apologise to Kausar instead they treated her like a criminal without trying to learn the truth. He says if they truly want to correct their mistake they should search for Kausar so they can apologise to her personally.
Husna becomes nervous. The crowd starts chanting slogans in Mahid’s support. Husna and Haider congratulate Mahid. Mahid becomes emotional.
Husna Makes Another Plan
Meanwhile Seher continues waiting for Mahid. She asks Tahir where Mahid is. Tahir teases her. Just then Seher receives Mahid call.
He tells Seher he has successfully proven Kausar’s innocence before the entire community. Seher asks if he has left.
At the same time Mahid accidentally drops his car keys and they fall under the bed. Seher tells Mahid to come quickly. She says nothing will feel complete until they find Kausar.
Mahid searches for his keys. Meanwhile Husna secretly keeps watching Mahid.
Husna Dangerous Move
Amal drop a clay pot. Hussain hears the noise and becomes alert. Meanwhile Husna calls Anwar. She threatens him and demands Kausar’s dead body.
She warns him that if he fails she will not spare him.
Haider Confronts Husna
Haider confronts Husna. He says he knows she wanted him to become Mufti but he now believes Mahid truly deserves the position.
Husna says if she had not supported Mahid he would have thrown them out of the house. Haider says she did not need to flatter Mahid. Husna warns Haider to watch his words.
Haider says he has accepted the Mahid’s victory. Husna says the battle is not over yet. She says she never accepts defeat and that Mahid still does not know how to defeat her.
Precap: Mahid beats Hussain and demands to know what he did to Kausar. Hussain says he made a mistake. He admits that he used Seher’s voice to teach Kausar a lesson but he does not know where Kausar disappeared after that.
